She approached, but Gao Sijin involuntarily stepped back. Though there was no basis for it, an extreme fear of her took hold. The moment she caught him, his life would become nothing but a toy for her to play with as she pleased.
“Brother Sijin, why are you stepping back? Don’t you like me?”
“Feng Na, today is the first time we’ve met, all right? Are you mistaking me for someone else?” Gao Sijin swallowed. Behind him was Sanshiro Pond, and before him stood Feng Na.
“I could never mistake you, Brother Sijin. My sister and I have always been waiting for you to come home. Let’s be together forever.”
Her long legs, wrapped in black stockings, were round and full. She walked slowly toward him in her high heels. With each step, the wicked curves on her chest bounced elastically. Yes, Feng Na was a beautiful girl—but that did not mean Gao Sijin would fall at her feet. He had already decided to date Tsukiyuki Rio. How could he think about another woman?
And yet, Feng Na now stood right in front of him. He felt like a beast cornered against a cliff, desperate to flee but with nowhere to go.
“Ah, the wind is sure noisy today. Oh, I just remembered—there’s a half-price sale on chips at the supermarket downstairs. I’d better hurry.”
Gao Sijin pretended to be calm, talking to himself as he tried to step past Feng Na. But his heart pounded frantically. She had not done anything out of line yet, but that did not make her harmless. Some dangerous creatures strike in a single, fatal blow, leaving no room for resistance.
In Gao Sijin’s eyes, Feng Na was exactly that kind of creature, a mix of danger and beauty. Suddenly, a cold sensation clamped around his wrist. The force was so strong it felt like it would snap.
She had caught him.
“Brother Sijin’s wrists are so slender, just like a girl’s. They’re adorable.”
“What are you grabbing my wrist for? I told you, you’ve got the wrong person. I don’t know you at all. Let go. Stop pulling at me. How bad would it look if someone saw? I’ve got a date tomorrow, damn it.”
Gao Sijin said this, feigning nonchalance.
What he didn’t know was that the word “date” acted as a catalyst, fueling Feng Na’s madness.
“Heh…”
Feng Na let out a crazed, sickly laugh. Gao Sijin glanced up at the sky. It was so bright and clear—why was he being accosted by a woman he didn’t even know?
What kind of sin had he committed?
Gao Sijin shook his arm, trying to break free. Sensing his effort, Feng Na’s other hand immediately coiled around him. Like a python, it wrapped around his neck. Her snow-white, slender arms seemed delicate, but they became shackles, tightening further and further, locking him in place.
“Trying to run away, Brother Sijin?”
“Crazy woman, let me go.”
“Brother called me a crazy woman… Hahaha! The one who made me as crazy as I am now—isn’t that you?”
What kind of look was that?
A hound eyeing a delicious piece of meat.
“What do you want from me?”
“Do I even need to answer that? From now on, we’ll live together. No need for pointless socializing. No need for school or work. Every day, the only thing you can do—the only thing you will be able to do—is become a breeding tool for me and my sister. We’ll love you so much. We’ll dress you in pretty clothes, feed you delicious food. Let’s be together forever and ever, Brother.”
Feng Na spoke her twisted, deranged love in a soft voice. Then she lowered her head and pressed her warm lips firmly against Gao Sijin’s. Her face was flushed, and her kissing was a little clumsy, yet she seemed to channel every ounce of strength she had possessed since birth, as if she meant to pull his very soul into her body.
The defensive line of his teeth crumbled in an instant.
Her tongue slid inside. Their wet tongues intertwined. An unknown fear gently traced the back of his neck, cold and terrifying.
Tomorrow he was supposed to go on a date with Tsukiyuki Rio. Tomorrow he was supposed to confess to her under the cherry blossom tree. And now he was kissing some stranger. It felt as though everything was being stolen. Humiliation and resentment made him want to roar, but he could not. His mouth was still sealed by Feng Na, his mind a chaotic, panicked mess.
It was too unnatural.
The invading tongue stirred up and down. He could not refuse her kiss. The force of her arms on him was like iron chains. He tried to twist his head away, but her small head followed. The only way to stop her was to bite her tongue hard—but he could not bring himself to do it, so he simply let her suck.
Suddenly, Gao Sijin sensed something strange, like a pill. He knew it was nothing good. He tried to push it back with his tongue, but it was too late. Mixed with her saliva, he was forced to swallow it.
When the kiss ended, Feng Na pressed herself against him like a spoiled child. Her wet, pink tongue lightly licked his cheek, like a puppy. But she was no puppy—she was a beast radiating danger from every pore. A strange light flickered in her eyes, and Gao Sijin read the emotions within: extreme adoration, longing, and greed.
“What did you feed me?”
“A medicine that will make us happy.”
She giggled. Gao Sijin’s head grew heavier and heavier.
So sleepy.
It was as if his body refused to listen.
“Brother Sijin, I’ll be merciful and tell you a little secret. Actually, you’ve been fed this medicine every single day.”
“Every day?”
“Yes, every day. Even after being completely devoured, you act all innocent and pretend to be a virgin. Just like the old Brother—so cute.” Feng Na pressed her lips to his ear and whispered. “I had many chances to unite with Brother Sijin in love, but I never did, because I’m the younger sister. As the younger sister, I should give Brother to my elder sister first. But now I realize I was wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong.”
“What exactly are you trying to say?”
“I’m saying I can’t let Brother stay out there alone anymore. Rather than let some other filthy woman devour Brother, it’s better if I do it myself. Brother smells so good—it makes me want to take a hard bite.”
Feng Na went on and on in his ear. Then, at some point, Gao Sijin’s consciousness snapped with an audible crack. A powerful drowsiness hit, his body staggered, and his head bumped against something soft.
Tsukiyuki Rio…
Just one more day. Why did this have to happen?
Gao Sijin’s consciousness slipped completely into chaos. Smiling, Feng Na used both arms to support his limp body and walked toward a black sedan that had been waiting for a long time in the distance.
“What do we do next?”
Taking Gao Sijin out of the country was not realistic. Besides, Brother Sijin had undergone surgery inside his body; a tracking system had been installed. Even if they ran to the ends of the earth, there would be no escape. To get away, she would either have to cut out the GPS chip fused to his body with a knife, or kill Tsukiyuki Rio. There was no other way.
“Dear Brother, forgive the temporary discomfort.”
She pushed Gao Sijin into the back seat of the sedan, then extended an arm and gently hugged his shoulders.
In the past, Brother Sijin had spoiled her endlessly. Despite not being anyone special himself, he had always arrogantly taken every family responsibility onto his own shoulders. With Brother by her side, Feng Na had finished high school and gotten into university.
Her pale hand lightly touched his chest. In a different world line, her knife had pierced her brother’s flesh, only because he had wanted to divorce her sister. Later, after learning that Brother had been suffering from uremia and had voluntarily done so to avoid being a burden on the two sisters, Feng Na had once thought of repaying it with her life.
But how could she simply die?
“Crossing the very dimensions of world lines, I’ve met Brother once again.”
She lightly kissed Gao Sijin’s lips, incredibly greedy. Her hand rested on his shirt buttons. After a moment of thought, she decided to endure a little longer. She would not rush things. She would wait until Brother Sijin woke up, and then tell him everything she knew. Even though these memories would surely be erased once Tsukiyuki Rio recaptured them, she still had to make everything clear to Brother Sijin.
The car drove through the bustling streets of Bunkyo Ward. The sound of police sirens could already be heard. At the university, Gao Sijin had been closely monitored by Tsukiyuki Rio’s maids. To create a moment alone with him, Feng Na had purposely ordered yakuza members to block the maids’ path and accost them.
Upon learning that Gao Sijin had been abducted, the Tsukiyuki clan, who secretly held the country’s power, had indeed sent the police to intervene.
How troublesome. Why must someone always stand in the way of happiness?
“Boss Masaki, I’ll leave the rest to you. The weapons I ordered for Shokaku Society a while ago have been fully equipped, right? Help me hold off the police.”
Feng Na dialed a number.
To enjoy sweet, intimate time with Brother, she would not permit any interference. The yakuza bosses she had previously taken control of had finally become useful.
“Miss Feng, have you gone mad?”
On the other end of the line came the horrified voice of Shokaku Society boss Masaki Toshihisa.
“I’m not mad. I’ll have Kira Group coordinate with you later.”
“They’re a state power institution…”
“Bear the pressure, Boss Masaki. Instead of wasting time arguing with me, do something practical. It’s because you’re all so timid that the yakuza has been suppressed into a bunch of petty hoodlums.”
Feng Na’s voice held a trace of anger.
“We can’t fight the state’s power institutions. Miss Feng, you’ve gone too far. Even if you’ve manipulated my mind, I must urge you to stay calm at a time like this.”
“Boss Masaki, obey my order.”
Feng Na increased the signal output of the mind control app. Masaki Toshihisa’s pained sobs came through the phone. He knew what opposing the police would lead to, but ever since that one yakuza meeting, he had been utterly unable to resist her.
“Miss Feng… take care of my family.” Masaki Toshihisa bit out each word. “They’re all commoners. If I die, for the sake of me risking my life for you, please don’t make things hard for them…”
“Fine.”
Feng Na ended the call. She could not care less about a criminal’s family. Right now, all she wanted was to be intimate with Brother Sijin and make up for years of regret.
