Chapter 2: The Cultivation World Inside the Box

At that moment, mountain winds surged, howling across the peak. A tense atmosphere filled the vast Qixi Festival Sect.

All disciples of the sect had gathered at the mountain gate, watching the evil cultivator Su Wuchen outside. Unknowingly, their foreheads were beaded with sweat, and the legs of some disciples trembled uncontrollably.

The evil cultivator Su Wuchen belonged to no sect. He had stumbled upon the sinister technique, the Yama Art, in some ruins. It allowed him to blood-sacrifice other cultivators to empower himself. Thus, despite his mediocre aptitude, his cultivation advanced by leaps and bounds. He was a wanted man throughout Alkaid Province.

Yet, such a notorious evil cultivator had actually come to their Qixi Festival Sect!

Many disciples couldn’t help but shift their gaze to the woman standing at the very front.

That woman, dressed in a light blue dress, graceful and picturesque, was none other than their sect master, Tong Shishi.

“If the Sect Master cannot withstand Su Wuchen, then…”

At this thought, the hearts of all the Qixi Festival Sect disciples sank.

Tong Shishi, on whom so many had placed their hopes, was also incredibly tense inside. She felt as if a giant beast was staring at her, causing her limbs to stiffen involuntarily.

Why did Su Wuchen have to come to my Qixi Festival Sect, of all places?

Tong Shishi was even feeling a bit of despair, completely at a loss for how to break the current deadlock.

Was the sect she had painstakingly built going to be destroyed today?

Su Wuchen looked quite young, with ink-black hair and a sharp, chiseled face, his complexion somewhat pale.

Dressed in black with his hands clasped behind his back, he looked at the many cultivators of the Qixi Festival Sect and couldn’t help but lick his lips.

If I can blood-sacrifice all these people, I might have a chance to break through the great barrier of Foundation Establishment and form a Golden Core! That would add three hundred years to my lifespan and greatly increase my strength!

After all, he was already on the verge of breaking through.

“To think there’s a whole sect hidden deep within Magpie Mountain! The heavens are truly helping me.” Su Wuchen really wanted to laugh.

As a wanted man throughout Alkaid Province, being discovered meant inevitable pursuit. He had entered the vast Magpie Mountain precisely to escape such a pursuit. He had thought his situation was dire, but unexpectedly, there were cultivators here.

If he could blood-sacrifice these cultivators and achieve a breakthrough, then he could turn the tables and slaughter those chasing him with a flip of his hand. Then, the world would be wide open for him to go wherever he pleased.

“Su Wuchen,” Tong Shishi’s voice rang out at that moment. “Our Qixi Festival Sect has no grudge against you. There’s no need for you to fight us to the death. If you have any difficulties, we can support you with some spirit stones. As for your arrival here… we can pretend we never saw you.”

Su Wuchen shook his head with a smile. “Pretty words. But unfortunately, what I want… is all of you.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, Su Wuchen attacked without hesitation.

As a Late Foundation Establishment evil cultivator, his move was extraordinary. His spiritual power surged, and large swaths of black mist coalesced into three incredibly thick black serpents that lunged directly at Tong Shishi at the very front.

The sight made Tong Shishi’s expression change drastically, and she cried out in alarm, “Su Wuchen, do you truly intend mutual destruction?!”

Even as she spoke, she retreated rapidly while channeling her spiritual power, forming a massive magpie silhouette around herself. The magpie’s wings folded in, shielding her within.

“Mutual destruction? Hahahaha! Do you have the ability for that? I already saw through it long ago—your sect only has one Foundation Establishment cultivator, and in the Early Stage at that. What do you have to resist me?”

Su Wuchen laughed heartily. He controlled one of the three black serpents, making it whip its head around and slam directly into Tong Shishi’s magpie silhouette. The impact shattered the silhouette and sent Tong Shishi flying backward at high speed, crashing heavily into a pavilion. The entire structure immediately collapsed, burying Tong Shishi with a thunderous rumble.

As for the other two black serpents, they charged toward the remaining members of the Qixi Festival Sect, triggering waves of horrified screams.

To Su Wuchen, this wasn’t a battle; it was a one-sided slaughter.

“What… is this?”

A question mark popped up in Su Xiaoyu’s mind.

A diorama box that appeared out of nowhere, and now miniature ancient-costumed figures inside it… what did it all mean?

Was this some pre-programmed scene in the diorama box?

Su Xiaoyu felt her head was a mess. She couldn’t figure out what was happening for the moment.

And in that short span of time, Su Wuchen inside the diorama box had already charged into the Qixi Festival Sect, slaughtering everyone in his path. Wherever he went, disciples screamed and fell to the ground, unwilling cries echoing throughout the sect.

Su Xiaoyu felt a pang in her heart.

In both her past and current life, she had lived in peaceful times. Images of slaughter were limited to film and television. Even then, such depictions were restrained to avoid overly gory scenes.

But what was this before her eyes?

Through the magnifying glass, everything was presented clearly.

Su Wuchen’s black serpent slammed a person into a pulp.

Su Wuchen’s black serpent spewed poisonous smoke, causing many people’s skin to fester as they collapsed screaming.

Su Wuchen personally darted forward, reaching out to twist off one person’s head after another.

He was wanton and arrogant, leaving a trail of blood beneath his feet.

Every scene was so vivid, displayed with crystal clarity.

Su Xiaoyu couldn’t take it anymore.

She grabbed the lid of the diorama box and then reached out, slapping it down toward Su Wuchen.

“It’s over.”

When Tong Shishi crawled out of the rubble, her eyes were filled with despair, knowing the Qixi Festival Sect was finished.

The Qixi Festival Sect wasn’t some powerful, influential sect. It was merely a group she had gathered—rogue cultivators with poor aptitude whom no immortal cultivation sect wanted—established for mutual aid.

Such a sect was very fragile, so fragile that Su Wuchen alone had the power to annihilate the entire sect.

“Su Wuchen!”

Seeing Su Wuchen’s slaughterous rampage, Tong Shishi felt a surge of fury erupt from the depths of her heart. But as the rage consumed her, she coughed up a mouthful of blood. Her aura suddenly plummeted; she had no strength left to fight.

“Oh? You’re still alive?”

Su Wuchen heard Tong Shishi’s voice, glanced her way, and then shook his head with a laugh.

He pointed a finger at her, and all three black serpents simultaneously turned around and charged toward Tong Shishi, intent on killing her completely.

But at that very moment, Su Wuchen’s heart skipped a beat. He felt a surge of wind and thunder above him as a massive shadow enveloped him.

“What’s that?!”

Su Wuchen raised his head to look.

The moment he did, Su Wuchen froze on the spot, his eyes filling with incredulity.

The surviving Qixi Festival Sect disciples in every direction also sensed the massive disturbance and looked up. They saw a gigantic hand, tearing through the clouds, descending from the heavens. Carrying an immeasurable force, like the heavens themselves intent on obliterating the world, the colossal shadow it cast was almost suffocating.

At that moment, everyone felt as if they were in a dream.

When Su Xiaoyu transmigrated and found herself bound to a wheelchair, her mind was blank. She had no idea how someone like her was supposed to face this world in the future.

It wasn't until she was sorting through the original host's memories that she discovered a diorama box had inexplicably appeared in her bedroom.

Upon closer inspection, Su Xiaoyu was astonished to find that there was actually a microscopic world inside the diorama box.

The world inside featured miniature mountains and water. A group of ancient-costumed tiny people were even flying around, playing out the grievances, hatreds, and passions of the cultivation world.

When Su Xiaoyu dropped in an ordinary pebble, it caused a massive stir as the tiny cultivators scrambled to fight over it, calling it the "Kunwu Stone" capable of forging divine weapons.

When she accidentally spilled a drop of milk, it was treated as the legendary nectar of the gods, coveted by everyone.

When she tossed in a single Isatis root, it was regarded as a sacred immortal medicine, shaking the entire cultivation world.

And when she reached her hand inside and flicked her finger, a powerhouse whose name once shook the cultivation world instantly sprayed blood across the sky.
