My name is Lega Weilin. Summoned by a mysterious force from the East, I crossed over here using my in-game female avatar as a template… It’s my first time being a protagonist, so I’m a little nervous.
When the Divine Crystal officials announced the server shutdown, I was more or less a bit sad. In those final days, I, long weary of a loneliness borne from invincibility, used the power of the ‘Time Wheel Divine Crystal’, forgetting all my skills and resetting my skill points. This included the ten most heaven-defying Forbidden Spells from the ancient eras, thirty-something 9th-Tier Magic spells, and over two hundred high-level magic spells.
I dumped nearly all 777 of my reset skill points into every single sub-professional and life skill. For the final days, I planned to visit the starting village to bid farewell to the old village chief, equip the beginner’s staff to hack at a Level 1 Slime, and even find the Crystal Coffin where the Illusory Snow Queen slumbered, to lie within and sleep alongside her. To end it where it all began… a small tribute to a game about to close its servers, and to my fleeting youth.
And then…
As you can see, I crossed over.
Transformed into the in-game girl, Lega Weilin, armed with an earth-shattering arsenal of sub-professional and life skills.
The main issue is this game’s particularly goofy setting: a character who uses the ‘Time Wheel Divine Crystal’ to reset skill points cannot reset them again for a year.
Which means I, a Mage who can’t even cast the basic spell Fireball, have to camp out and play safe for 365 days in this dog-eat-dog otherworld.
But I’m not worried in the slightest.
Because if my level and skills were fully inherited, then naturally so was everything else, like my mineral wealth that could rival entire nations.

…
…
Weilin’s former guild was called the ‘Eternal Mine Guild,’ an entity that, much like the Great Tomb of Nazarick from Overlord, towered above the mortal world. As the Guild Master, Weilin was naturally the sole master of the Eternal Mineshaft.
Because I said “nearly all,” the Mage Skills section wasn’t entirely empty. Back then, Lega Weilin had purposely kept an ace in the hole, selecting a single spell: the Mage’s ultimate getaway magic, ‘Spatial Warp.’
But… that’s it.
A measly 20 Strength to play a physical-stream mage? I probably couldn’t even hammer a Goblin.
I, Lega Weilin, am harmless.
Speaking of which, my pre-transmigration online handle was ‘Lega Weilin Who Yearns for a Quiet Life,’ so I’m not that fixated on power anyway.
If I can’t afford to provoke them, can’t I just hide?
When I get back, I’ll just pay people to beat them up, let those broke “@#$%” get a good look at what “money is power” really means.
“Hey… do you know where this place is?”
Having fully grasped her own situation, Lega Weilin began surveying her surroundings, finally fixing her gaze on the timid-looking, adorable girl before her and asking.
She was a head shorter than Weilin’s own 160 cm frame. Her snow-white long hair, reaching just past her shoulders, refracted a strange, snow-bright glow in the dim mine environment. A tuft of white fluff peeked out from around her ears, hidden under her hair and safety helmet…
Oh! A thought struck Lega Weilin, and she immediately used ‘Eye of Truth’ on her.
Character info quickly surfaced from her mind—
【Elizabeth White】
【Race: Crystal Companion White Mouse】
【Lv: 18】 (Junior Mage)
【Strength: 12 / Agility: 30 / Constitution: 45
Mana: 420 / Mental: 400】
【Look, you’ve found a wild, lone Elizabemouse! Catch rate: 90%】
The skill works!
But what’s with the catching… Weilin noted her backpack didn’t contain any Poké Balls. It seemed the system’s text tics were just as bad as ever, showing no improvement even after crossing worlds.
Elizabeth had absolutely no idea her information had been completely exposed.
“It’s Snowcell City… an underground mine to the west.”
After answering, the White Mouse girl immediately countered with a wary question, “Big Sister, you still haven’t answered me. Who are you? And why are you here?!”
“Snowcell City…”
The name felt strange yet vaguely familiar. Logically, if it were a real game location, Weilin, as a die-hard veteran player, couldn’t possibly not know it.
Not dwelling on it further, Weilin first answered the girl’s question:
“My name is Lega Weilin. I already explained that, right? As for why I’m here… I’m not sure. But, it should be that the mana from that Demonic Iron Ore teleported me here.”
“Demonic Iron Ore…!” Elizabeth murmured, her gaze snapping towards the now-dull, lifeless ore. She quickly stepped forward, her crestfallen expression heart-wrenching. “I finally found it…”
“Is it really that big of a deal?”
Weilin pursed her lips, looking unimpressed.
“If you dig another one or two kilometers down from this mineshaft, ores far better than Demonic Iron Ore are everywhere! And…” Leaning close to Elizabeth’s ear, she said darkly, “Little girl, do you know whose mine you’re digging in?”
“It’s a mine abandoned by humans, ownerless… And digging another kilometer at this depth is simply impossible.”
Elizabeth sighed, turning her lonely gaze to meet Weilin’s, biting her tender lip slightly. “I know Big Sister couldn’t have meant it… I won’t pursue this matter anymore.”
“Fine… whatever… since you’re so pitiful, I won’t pursue it either.” Weilin nodded magnanimously.
“If Big Sister has no other business, could you leave? I still need to mine.” Elizabeth asked, her expression pleading.
“Am I getting in your way?” Weilin was irritated.
“That’s not it…”
“Then just do your mining.”
Even though Elizabeth stared at Lega Weilin with a pouting, aggrieved expression, she couldn’t persuade the other girl. A sigh escaped her, and with a burning determination reignited, she resumed her ore quest.
In a mineshaft plundered dry by humans, the possibility of finding valuable ore was astronomically low.
True, the deeper strata were filled with mineral deposits, but they were unreachable due to limitations in magic and technology. So, all Elizabeth could do was trace the mana echoes from her Mana Tentacles, searching for hidden residual pockets of precious ore.
Simply put, it was a game of luck.
Using this time, Weilin seriously scrutinized Elizabeth.
She had the frail, slender build of a girl around thirteen or fourteen. Her upper body was covered by an overly large wind-resistant coat, its hem dangling down to her knees. Below were thick gray trousers, and on her back she carried a delicate Wooden Basket. The green safety helmet on her head, aside from the material, looked remarkably similar to the ubiquitous hard hats found on Earth.
Hm… green?
And her gear is way too complete. She doesn’t look like someone short on cash.
Time trickled by slowly.
Barely three minutes had passed, but perhaps owing to Elizabeth’s glacial ore-prospecting efficiency, it was actually Lega Weilin who grew impatient first.
No kidding. She’d just arrived in this otherworld and was short a tour guide. Weilin was counting on this girl! She definitely couldn’t be stuck wasting time here.
‘Ore Detection Technique’!
A flash of purple light vanished in her eyes.
In Weilin’s field of vision, it was as if a God’s-eye view had been activated. Ores, countless as stars, were scattered across a vast web known as the “geological strata.”
…It even had precise positioning, category filtering, and other functions.
Damn, I’m practically a human satellite!!
After pondering for a moment, Lega Weilin picked a nearby piece of ‘Ten-Thousand-Year Cold Sand.’ This ore was leagues above Demonic Iron Ore; it should solve Elizabeth’s urgent need.
Calmly walking over, she then lay down and cried out:
“Ah, ow ow ow…! I’ve fallen! I can’t get up unless Elizabeth helps me!!”
Little did she know, Elizabeth had been paying close attention to Lega Weilin’s every move while prospecting.
Weilin’s theatrically fake fall made Elizabeth want to bite her in frustration!
But in the next instant, Elizabeth’s actions froze. She turned her face, now marked with distinct terror: “…You… y-y-y-you, how do you know my name is Elizabeth…?”
Weilin blanked for a second, then recovered, continuing her emotionless wailing: “I’m not listening, I’m not listening! I need Elizabeth to help me up! Otherwise… otherwise I’ll…”
“…………”
Elizabeth was shocked and frightened. Even though she saw no malice in Weilin’s eyes… this person was just too bizarre in every way!
Walking forward anxiously, Elizabeth decided she’d help her up, then firmly convince her to leave.
“No funny business… I’ll… I’ll help you…”
This scene of one willing fall, one willing help was utterly uncanny.
Until Elizabeth crouched before her, her pale little hand reaching for Weilin’s. Suddenly, Weilin curved her lips into a strange smile, lightning-fast raising her own hand and easily grabbing Elizabeth’s wrist.
“You really were up to no…! …Huh…!?”
Before Elizabeth could finish, Weilin forced her grabbed wrist down, pressing it against the ground. Simultaneously, she released a massive stream of mana plunging deep into the earth, activating that single grain of Ten-Thousand-Year Cold Sand…
Terrifying cold energy erupted within the earth’s crust, seeping and pressing towards the surface layer.
Elizabeth could even hear the sound of the crustal soil layer freezing solid inch by inch…
Crack—Crack——
Until the ground beneath her palm was covered in a layer of pale blue frost.
“This! Is…?!!!!”
Elizabeth’s eyes trembled with lasting shock.
