On the cement road of a small town, a car worth millions was parked at the roadside, surrounded by grass swaying in the wind and rain.
This place was remote and deserted, and with a rainy dusk, visibility was poor. Even the car seemed to disappear from sight.
The car rocked gently. If anyone happened to pass by now, they’d discover a scene of their own inside.
Even a violent summer downpour didn’t lower the temperature much. Especially inside a fully enclosed car where certain things were happening…
The two were trapped by the heavy rain, and even more so by the sudden onset of heat.
An omega’s pheromones during heat were a hundred times sweeter than usual. With the soft omega clinging to her neck, kissing and nuzzling, Jiang Qiuyan’s rationality had long since crumbled.
The space was cramped, but it only pressed them closer together.
They could feel each other’s heartbeat, even the delicate texture of skin.
Since that day, Shi Yu had been avoiding intimate contact, whether deliberately or not. Jiang Qiuyan certainly wouldn’t force her, so it had been a long time since they’d been like this.
Jiang Qiuyan already had zero resistance to her. And now the little cat in her arms was whimpering and begging for affection. How could she possibly stay composed?
“Mm… it’s so uncomfortable…”
Shi Yu’s voice was very light. Her brow furrowed as she spoke, her little face all crumpled, clearly in discomfort.
Her hands gripped Jiang Qiuyan’s waist, fumbling and rubbing, as if searching for something.
Jiang Qiuyan watched her with dark, heavy eyes. When that burning little hand pushed aside her clothes and touched bare skin, her breath caught sharply.
Shi Yu, on the other hand, looked like a parched traveler finding water. Her features instantly relaxed.
She ran her hand along Jiang Qiuyan’s waist, poking at the dimples of her lower back again and again, like a child with a new toy.
Whether accidental or deliberate, it drove Jiang Qiuyan dizzy with desire.
Jiang Qiuyan exhaled and said hoarsely: “Little Yu, stop touching.”
If this kept up, they’d be spending the night here.
But Shi Yu thought Jiang Qiuyan was rejecting her. Her nose stung and tears instantly filled her eyes. She looked up at Jiang Qiuyan, opened her mouth, said nothing, and slowly lowered her head again.
She bit her lower lip, forced back the heat, and pulled her hand away. She tried to leave Jiang Qiuyan’s arms but was held tightly.
Jiang Qiuyan pressed her into her embrace, her heart churning with anxiety.
That look just now had nearly stopped her heart. The little cat, pitiful and wronged, gazing at her through tears. She instantly regretted saying those words.
She’d been worried the car was too cramped and uncomfortable, but Shi Yu wouldn’t think of that. She’d only think Jiang Qiuyan didn’t want her.
How could she not want her? If the little cat was this proactive, she’d be ecstatic.
Even if it was just the heat driving her, she was still thrilled and excited, her heart nearly leaping out of her throat.
“It was my fault. Please stop crying, okay?”
Shi Yu looked up, trembling at the desire surging in Jiang Qiuyan’s eyes. Jiang Qiuyan kissed her, voice even huskier: “Don’t be sad, okay? I’ll give you anything you want.”
The seat reclined. Shi Yu lay back naturally, but instead of pulling Jiang Qiuyan with her, she gently let go.
She always made the same choice: if Jiang Qiuyan let go, she would too.
Jiang Qiuyan stared at her unblinkingly, eyes full of raw, primal desire. Even in the haze of her heat, Shi Yu couldn’t withstand that gaze. She looked away, flustered and helpless.
Jiang Qiuyan slowly leaned down, her lips landing on Shi Yu’s cheek, rubbing gently.
“Little Yu, look at me.”
Shi Yu’s eyes darted. “Don’t look at me like that…” she murmured.
“Like what?”
Soft lips pressed against the corner of her mouth. Shi Yu responded instinctively.
Even Jiang Qiuyan’s kisses carried force. Rough and plundering, they swept through her mouth, stealing every breath until her tongue went numb…
Shi Yu felt like prey in a wolf’s jaws, about to be torn apart and devoured without a shred of resistance.
In a daze, she wondered: what did Jiang Qiuyan’s eyes look like when she watched her? Probably the way someone looked at a little pet they had absolutely secured, one that could never escape their grasp.
From the very beginning, she had been Jiang Qiuyan’s pet. They had never been equals.
Shi Yu wrapped her arms around Jiang Qiuyan’s waist and responded with everything she had, her tightly shut eyes trembling as two streams of tears flowed.
Jiang Qiuyan kept her eyes open throughout, watching her. Seeing tears slip from the corners of Shi Yu’s eyes, her heart wrenched for no reason, and her kisses softened.
She brushed the moisture from Shi Yu’s face with her fingertip, put it to her lips and tasted it. Unbearably bitter.
“Little Yu, look at me. Please, look at me…”
Shi Yu opened her eyes. Her thick, long lashes were wet. Her dark pupils were crystal clear, as if stars had fallen into them.
But now the stars had dimmed.
Shi Yu looked at her. Apart from the desire stirred by her heat, those eyes held almost no emotion.
Shi Yu’s fondness for her was gone.
The realization sent Jiang Qiuyan into inexplicable panic. She clutched Shi Yu, kissing and biting, her kisses falling haphazardly across her body, scattering crimson marks over jade-white skin.
Shi Yu could barely breathe from being squeezed, but she didn’t dislike the feeling. Every time Jiang Qiuyan was like this, she’d get the illusion that Jiang Qiuyan liked her.
But an illusion was just an illusion. Jiang Qiuyan couldn’t possibly like her.
She only saw her as Pei Shuyu’s stand-in.
Shi Yu tilted her head up and asked softly: “Do I look like Pei Shuyu?”
Jiang Qiuyan didn’t know why she was asking this, especially at a time like this. But instinct told her the little cat was overthinking again.
“Little Yu…”
“We’re sisters. There must be some resemblance.”
Shi Yu cut her off. After finishing her sentence, she buried her face in the crook of Jiang Qiuyan’s neck, inhaling the rich alpha pheromones.
The pine scent acted like a catalyst, setting her entire body on edge.
As she inhaled more and more pheromones, her body underwent changes. Her mind grew foggy and confused, with only one thought remaining.
She wanted this alpha before her. She wanted to meld with her, to become a part of her.
The sudden surge of omega pheromones made Jiang Qiuyan tremble. She looked down at the little omega in her arms and saw she had fully succumbed to the heat.
Shi Yu took Jiang Qiuyan’s hand to her lips and gently sucked on her rounded, cherry-pink fingertips. Her eyes held naked teasing and invitation.
Her expression was now both tender and seductive, her eyes lively and bewitching. Without a single word, she drove Jiang Qiuyan wild, her blood boiling.
Her wildly pounding heart produced a strange emptiness. The burning heat spread through her entire body, thrilling her down to her trembling fingertips.
She pinched Shi Yu’s chin, pulled her fingers free from between her teeth, and traced downward along her pale, slender neck, leaving a glistening trail of saliva on her skin.
“You don’t look like anyone,” Jiang Qiuyan’s voice was hoarse to the extreme, yet deep with affection. “You are you. You’re irreplaceable in my heart.”
With Shi Yu’s soft whimpers, the pheromone concentration in the car reached a new peak. Raindrops hammered against the glass with dull thuds. Inside, the two bodies intertwined and overlapped, clinging to each other in desperate passion.
