Chapter 85: A Strange Map
Luo Yuxi looked at the three options before her. The third was impossible, leaving only the first two.
“Come on, choose~”
The dark Luo Yuxi floated in the air, like a demon tempting her. But Luo Yuxi ignored her, making no choice. The dark Luo Yuxi was taken aback.
“What are you doing? This is your panel’s request, isn’t it?!”
“This panel has given me useful information, but it’s never forced me to make a choice. You’re overstepping…”
The dark Luo Yuxi, seeing her trick exposed, clicked her tongue and vanished. Luo Yuxi turned to the teapot spirit, who was still lost in her fantasies.
“Alright, don’t be so dejected. You still look quite impressive…”
Luo Yuxi patted her shoulder. The teapot spirit looked up, her face tear-streaked.
“I can’t believe I couldn’t even get hard, and you even mocked me. So embarrassing… sob…”
“Alright, stop crying! This teapot is mine now, go make yourself another room…”
“Whatever, I’m done…”
The teapot spirit lay on the bed, dejected. Luo Yuxi lifted her with a single finger and tossed her onto the sofa. Being a wisp of smoke has its perks.
“Maybe I can bring the Legion Witch, Milily, with me in this teapot~”
Luo Yuxi thought, Although she’s only 4th Order, her ability to summon an army is invaluable. If I can escape this teapot and then someone tries to mess with me, they’ll be in for a surprise.
“Those fairies must have sent me out by now. I’ll just go back to the apartment and put the Legion Witch inside…”
Luo Yuxi walked to the door and opened the purple portal. She took out the golden key, and the teapot’s interior began to expand, the living room becoming the size of a basketball court.
“What are you doing?! I just finished decorating!”
“This is fine for now. Just expand the area a bit. You can redecorate later. I’m officially appointing you as my teapot’s head butler~”
“No way! This teapot is mine!”
Luo Yuxi ignored the teapot spirit’s protests and stepped through the portal. A wisp of pink smoke emerged from the teapot, solidifying into Luo Yuxi. She stretched, enjoying the fresh forest air.
“The forest air is so nice, so many trees… Wait! A forest?!”
Luo Yuxi realized she was no longer in Apal. Looking back, she saw the teapot resting on a rock, the fairies gone. She tried to summon them, but the skill wouldn’t activate.
“Damn it! Is there a time limit?! And where am I? I asked for a safe place, not a forest!!”
Luo Yuxi sat on a rock, looking at the exquisite teapot, wondering if she should hide inside again. Suddenly, the ground shook, and a deafening roar echoed through the forest.
“What’s going on?! What’s happening?!”
A massive shadow passed over her. Luo Yuxi looked up and saw a giant figure walking by.
“Th-This can’t be…!”
Luo Yuxi rubbed her eyes in disbelief. She had only ever seen this race in the game’s backstory.
“The race second only to dragons, the only race to have fought in the divine wars, the giants!”
Luo Yuxi looked at the girl, who was about 14 meters tall, her clothes like giant banners. Luo Yuxi felt like a fairy compared to her, no, even smaller.
“So big… no, wait, why is there a giant here…?”
Luo Yuxi hid behind a tree, not daring to make a sound. She knew that despite their beautiful appearance, giants were incredibly strong, capable of wrestling with dragons.
“I’ll just sneak away while she’s not looking…”
Luo Yuxi picked up the teapot, but the giant shadow loomed over her. The giant girl gently pushed aside the leaves and crouched down, looking at Luo Yuxi.
“I’m so unlucky…”
“Are you human? You’re quite cute. Have you seen any of my kind around here? I got separated from my group…”
Luo Yuxi looked at the giant girl, her sheer size overwhelming. She wondered why there were no giant witches in the game. Probably because they were too big to handle.
“N-No, I haven’t seen anyone. I’m just passing through.”
“Really? If you see them, please tell them…”
The giant girl stood up and walked away. Luo Yuxi breathed a sigh of relief. This un-implemented race was even more intimidating than the witches.
“That giant girl’s physical strength must be at least 5th Order…”
Luo Yuxi worried about where the fairies had sent her. Even the giants, only mentioned in the backstory, were here.
“Those little guys have such short legs and tiny wings, how did they fly so far with a teapot their own size…?”
