59. The Yin Family
“Wait!”
As they left the library, Yan Chuyue suddenly realized something and shook Gong Yiling’s shoulder. “Miss Lü, you did that on purpose, didn’t you!!!”
“Huh?” Gong Yiling was bewildered. “What did I do?”
Yan Chuyue ripped off her cloak, revealing the outfit underneath.
It was a ridiculously revealing dancer’s costume, with a slit that went all the way up to her waist and a nearly transparent light gray gauze skirt. The top was a deep V-neck, barely containing her ample assets, and the back was almost completely bare. It was practically the same as being naked.
And to top it off, she wore a strange bunny ear headband, a clear reflection of the author’s rather direct tastes.
Yes, the author here was Gong Youyuan. Who else could it be?
If Yan Chuyue wasn’t the author of this book, she would have never agreed to wear such an outrageous outfit.
But she was the author.
Ouyang Qian, a mix of pure and seductive, with cute accessories, a coquettish demeanor, and a ruthless fighting style, a character who could probably outshine Wen Qiyin, was a bizarre but not unreasonable creation in her eyes.
So, when Gong Yiling asked her to play the part, she agreed, and her performance was quite convincing. It was just the outfit that was a bit… questionable.
“Didn’t you agree to it yourself? I didn’t force you.”
“Pah!” Yan Chuyue, realizing her mistake, quickly draped the cloak over herself. “You said we would need this outfit, that’s why I wore it! Did we even use it?”
“No.”
“And you have the nerve to say no?”
Gong Yiling replied confidently, “I didn’t expect them to be so gullible. Otherwise, with Ouyang Qian’s reputation, no one would believe it was her just by her voice.”
“Even if they wanted to verify her identity, they wouldn’t use that method!” Yan Chuyue retorted. “This is still an academy! If someone saw me in this, they would immediately know I’m Ouyang Qian! Am I supposed to tell them I’m cosplaying as her?”

“Role-playing!” Yan Chuyue explained, then, realizing her mistake, pressed on, “Don’t change the subject! I’m asking you, did you deliberately make me wear this?”

Honestly, yes.
Gong Yiling knew they wouldn’t be able to take off their cloaks, so she just wanted to see Yan Chuyue in this ridiculous outfit, as the sole admirer of the protagonist’s unique fashion sense.
It was quite amusing.
Of course, she couldn’t say this… “Well, yes.”
“Lü Youyuan!!!”
Yan Chuyue, enraged, lunged at her, trying to rip off her clothes, but she tripped on her own cloak.
She fell, taking Gong Yiling down with her.
When they came to their senses, Yan Chuyue felt something buried in her chest, and Miss Gong felt her face pressed against something incredibly soft.
