As a villain, I just want them to behave 6

Chapter 6: I Like You. Let’s Do It.

Kailun drew in a deep breath, forcing himself to remain calm. He met Paul’s gaze, his expression flat and unreadable, silently conveying the question: “Why should I tell you anything about my personal life?”

His unexpected coldness took Paul aback. He coughed nervously, his smile fading slightly. “Don’t be like that. I was just curious, that’s all. No need to get defensive. After all, we’re friends, aren’t we?”

Paul could sense a change in the Duke’s heir, a stark difference from the clueless, arrogant noble he once knew.

Kailun shrugged, his voice devoid of warmth. “You’re right, of course. But I’d rather not reveal her name to anyone. I wouldn’t want some backstabbing wolf to corrupt her.”

Paul bristled at the implied accusation, but before he could retort, a sweet voice rang out.

“Kailun, I have a letter for you.”

A stunningly beautiful girl approached their desk, clutching a pink envelope.

Her cheeks were flushed a delicate pink, and her long legs, clad in sheer black stockings, brushed against each other as she walked. She held the letter out, her dainty hands trembling slightly.

Her purple hair, as rich and vibrant as amethysts, cascaded down her back. Her eyes, the same mesmerizing shade, sparkled with intelligence. A delicate nose, a perfectly shaped mouth, a long, elegant neck, and a figure that could launch a thousand ships.

She was the epitome of aristocratic grace and beauty.

Kailun imagined that countless men had fantasized about holding her in their arms, showering her with affection.

As for the letter she carried… he didn’t need to guess to know it was a love letter.

Her arrival had thrown the classroom into chaos.

“Isn’t that Phils from the next class? The Earl’s daughter? One of the Five Great Beauties of King’s City?!”

“Why? Why would such a goddess be interested in that talentless good-for-nothing Kailun? Is it just because he’s the Duke’s heir?”

“It’s true what they say. Money and titles are everything. All our hard work means nothing.”

“No, it can’t be true! Someone tell me this isn’t happening!”

Groans and cries of despair echoed throughout the classroom.

Meanwhile, Kailun remained outwardly unfazed. He took the letter from her with a polite nod. “Thank you. I’ll read it later.”

“Oh… and… I’ll be waiting for your reply. Don’t forget about me!” Phils fluttered her eyelashes at him, a picture of innocent yearning. Most men would have been putty in her hands.

She was, without a doubt, one of the most breathtaking girls he had ever seen. Combined with her impressive lineage, she was considered a prized catch among the nobility.

But Kailun felt no stirring of attraction. Because this beautiful, seemingly innocent girl… was one of the people responsible for his family’s downfall.

“I won’t,” he promised, a knowing smile spreading across his lips as he met her gaze.

“Good! I’ll hold you to that. See you later!” With a cheerful wave and a mischievous wink, Phils sashayed out of the classroom, leaving a wave of disappointment and envy in her wake.

The moment the door closed behind her, her smile vanished, replaced by an expression of icy indifference. Her little performance had been exactly that: a performance.

Paul watched her leave, then turned back to Kailun, his expression sour. “Well, well, well. You certainly know how to hide your true colors. Sneaking around with the most sought-after girl in the academy. What does she see in you, I wonder?” His tone dripped with false sincerity.

“Perhaps she’s drawn to my rugged good looks.” Kailun’s eyes twinkled with amusement as he met Paul’s gaze, silently daring him to compare their appearances.

Paul, his mood effectively soured, slunk back to his desk and sat down, defeated.

“Master… Do you… like that girl?” Carol asked hesitantly. She had to admit, even she, a girl herself, was mesmerized by Phils’ beauty.

And yet… she felt like something was… off. As if Phils was not being entirely truthful.

“Like? No. You misunderstand. I wouldn’t waste my time on such frivolous emotions.” Kailun casually broke the seal on the envelope.

Carol felt a surge of relief. Then, he continued, his voice laced with something cold and predatory that sent a shiver down her spine.

“Phils is a lovely creature, isn’t she? I think I’ll break her. Turn her into my little slave. And then… I’ll break her all over again.”

“Um…”

Carol was fairly certain she had heard something very disturbing.

Kailun, seemingly oblivious to her shock, continued to read the letter. He wasn’t planning to hide his true nature from her.

He unfolded the letter, his eyes scanning the words. Then he saw it. The sentence that had been burned into his memory:

“There are some things I’d like to discuss with you… privately. Meet me in the Seventh Study Room after class. Don’t be late. – Phils Kerry.”

The same words. The same trap.

He couldn’t deny that Phils was his type. If she hadn’t tried to destroy his life, he might have even found her charming.

But the Seventh Study Room held no sweet confessions for him. Only betrayal and despair.

The last time he had agreed to this little rendezvous, the eldest princess and her cronies had barged in at the most opportune moment, painting him as a predator, sealing his fate.

So, would he walk into her trap again, knowing what he did?

Absolutely.

He had every intention of enjoying the show. And this time, he’d be the one holding the detonator.

“Carol,” he asked, tucking the letter into his desk, “you still have those scrolls I gave you earlier? The Soundproof Scroll and the Spatial Displacement Scroll?”

“Huh? Oh! Y-yes, Master! I have them right here!” She patted her pockets nervously.

Sensing her anxiety, he leaned closer, his warm breath tickling her ear. “I need you to do something for me,” he murmured. And then, he whispered his plan, his voice barely audible above the din of the classroom.

As he spoke, Carol’s eyes widened in understanding. She knew, instinctively, that she was witnessing something dangerous, something potentially life-altering.

But she didn’t question him. She simply committed his instructions to memory.

A few minutes before the bell rang, Carol excused herself from class, complaining of a headache.

Kailun, however, waited until class was officially dismissed before making his exit.

He was barely out the door when Paul rushed over to his desk and snatched up the pink envelope.

“Tsk, tsk. You’re playing a dangerous game, Phils,” he muttered, his eyes gleaming with malicious glee.

Kailun entered the Seventh Study Room, a sense of anticipation thrumming through him. As he stepped inside, Phils rushed over to him and slipped her arm through his, pressing her body against his side.

He made a show of resisting, pulling back slightly. But even as he did, he allowed his arm to brush against her soft curves.

Phils suppressed a sigh, telling herself that this was all part of her grand plan.

“Kailun…” she began, her voice a breathless whisper. She drew in a deep breath, composing herself. “There’s… something I’ve been wanting to tell you.” She gazed up at him, her eyes wide and innocent. “I… I like you. Very much. So… let’s… do it.”

As a villain, I just want them to behave

反派的我只想让她们乖乖听话
Status: Ongoing Author: Released: 2022 Native Language: Chinese

In my past life, I was falsely accused of treason despite being a good person. Now, reborn, I only want to be a true villain. As the Duke's son, shouldn't I be allowed to be arrogant and dissolute?

What's that? You want to report me for kidnapping the eldest princess?
No, I kidnapped the younger princess too.

You're accusing me of buying two slaves for the price of one?
Don't slander me! I didn't even pay!

You say the protagonist will tell the world tomorrow that I'm a scumbag?
That's strange, his sister is feeding me grapes right now. It's only fair for a sister to pay her brother's debts, right?

Don't be afraid, I'm not really a devil. As long as you all behave yourselves, I'll put away these little toys.
