Chapter 191: Failed to Top, Nearly Got Pounded

Good lord, this girl actually wanted to top? Liang Sheng, utterly convinced she was the world’s greatest top despite having zero clue, immediately bristled. She pinned Hana down firmly beneath her, her voice laced with menace. “Who’s whose husband, huh? Otherwise, this supreme top is going to do you right here!”

Hana blinked in surprise at first, then flashed a wicked smile. “Then~ come on, Sheng-chan, do Hana~ I’m right here~ Not moving a muscle~ Won’t resist at all oh~” With that, she reached up and looped her arms around the other’s neck.

Damn it! She’d dug her own grave again. Liang Sheng regretted it instantly and wanted to slap herself silly. Serves you right for running your mouth!

“Come on~” Hana’s hands began sliding downward, growing restless. “If Sheng-chan won’t~ then Hana will take the top spot oh~” Before the words even finished, Hana flipped them over in a flash, pinning Liang Sheng beneath her.

“No way!!!” Liang Sheng shoved at Hana on top of her. My innocence—don’t let it end like this! But her strength was no match, and just as Hana’s hand reached for whatever that Kazuko gadget was, determined to yank it off, a knock sounded at the door.

“Daughter, what are you doing in there? Making all that racket.” It was Liang Sheng’s mother, Zhong Wen. As for her father, Liang Wengao—that total daughter-con—he was out cold like a log.

“Ah!!” Liang Sheng seized the chance to shove Hana off and dashed to the door, flinging it open. “Mom, my classmate came over to hang out. It’s so late now, so she’s crashing here for the night. She just accidentally fell off the bed—that’s all the noise. Go back to sleep already; staying up late makes you ugly!”

“Whew, you scared me half to death.” Zhong Wen patted her chest. “Tell your friend to be careful. Did she hurt herself anywhere?”

“Nope, nope, nope,” Liang Sheng denied with a triple shot. “Dear mother, I’m so sleepy. Let’s both hit the hay.”

“Alright, alright.” Zhong Wen ruffled her daughter’s fluffy head. “I’m heading downstairs then. Sleep tight, and don’t open the window—you’ll catch a cold.”

“Got it!” Liang Sheng’s heart warmed.

Finally rid of her mom, Liang Sheng let out a sigh of relief.

She climbed back into bed and gave Hana a stern look. “Now we can sleep properly, right? No more getting handsy.”

“Fine…” Hana pouted and lay down obediently, only to bolt upright again a moment later. She whispered excitedly, “Wait! Sheng-chan! I still need to help you chop up that jerk Su Ze!”

The idea tempted Liang Sheng sorely, but she didn’t want Hana ending up in jail. “No way. You’d go to prison. Think about our future~”

“But…” Hana gnashed her teeth. “If Hana doesn’t hack them to bits, it’ll eat at me. Die! Die! Su Ze, just die!”

“Calm down!” Liang Sheng hugged her tight, soothing her. “Fine, go beat him up instead. Once you’re done, run like hell before he spots you and calls the cops.” It was the best compromise—maybe just a short stint in the clink at worst.

“But…” Hana started to argue, but after cooling off and thinking it over, she realized it wasn’t a bad plan. She nodded obediently in agreement.

Seeing her settled, Liang Sheng released her and grinned. “Let’s sleep then, Hana. Staying up makes you ugly, you know!”

“Okay~” Now fully calm, Hana turned docile as a lamb. She nestled beside Liang Sheng, wrapping an arm around her waist.

The next morning, when Liang Sheng woke, Little Yandere Hana had vanished.

Well, Su Ze was in for it now. Sure, she worried a bit about Hana. But picturing that punchable face of his beaten to a bloody pulp—not quite human, more like a ghost—sent a thrill of satisfaction through her.

Last night, she’d even given Hana the pinhole camera—the one Hana had hidden in her room that she’d dug up. Hana was wearing it on her chest to livestream the beatdown for her.

The morning flew by in a haze of snacking, sipping drinks, fiddling with her phone, and general lounging. At 4 p.m., Hana suddenly called. Liang Sheng tapped accept, only for the line to drop instantly.

What was that little lass up to?

Then it hit Liang Sheng. She clapped a hand over her mouth and whipped out her phone to check the feed.

No way—this yandere was scary good. Less than a day, and she’d already cooked up revenge on Su Ze.

“Classmate Hana, what do you want with me?” Su Ze’s face looked off. Clearly, his readout of her Heartthrob Value toward him had flipped back to “Unable to View.”

“Ah…” Hana grinned. “Of course it’s…!”

Ambush! A knife slashed straight for Su Ze’s face.

Su Ze’s eyes bulged. He dove aside, dodging the blade—but it still grazed his cheek.

“You…!” He scrambled up, only for a fist to slam home squarely on his right cheek.

Hana bolted. Su Ze snapped to and gave chase.

She yanked out her phone and fired up 110. “Hello, police? I’m at [some random spot, fill in whatever]. There’s a pervert trying to assault me—hurry!”

Then she hung up and skidded to a halt. Dead end ahead.

Su Ze closed in and swung at her.

Hana dodged nimbly, snatched up a nearby wooden stick, and cracked it across his chest.

“Urk!!” Su Ze staggered back several steps before his butt hit the ground. Pain like a million ants gnawing his chest surged through him—he was sure a rib had snapped.

Hana laughed again, her grin sending chills down Liang Sheng’s spine from the other end of the call.

Bam! Another fist smashed his right cheek, loosening a tooth.

Suddenly, Hana straightened, glanced at her watch on her left wrist, and halted the beating.

Su Ze lurched to his feet, grabbed her hair, and yanked down viciously.

“Ah!!” Hana’s scream pierced the air. Liang Sheng froze on the screen’s far side, leaping up in panic, tempted to dial the cops. But she stopped herself—no, Hana had already called once. She must have a plan. Better not interfere.

Su Ze dragged Hana down by the hair and pinned her to the ground, stomping hard on her right hand. “Hana! What the hell is wrong with you?!”

“Haha!” Hana burst out laughing. “I called the cops just now, you know. They should be here any second.”

----

A woman transmigrates into a harem novel, becoming one of the male lead's girlfriends.

Why is the male lead's girlfriends' favorability score for me higher than for the male lead himself?

Don't you all come near me!

From a sadistic and handsome senior, a protective-type yandere, a "gimme" character with housewife attributes, a tsundere young miss, a "gap moe" teacher, an unruly loli, a masochistic and aloof senior, a mature celebrity, an ice-queen doctor, a younger cousin with a sister complex, a "green tea" child star, to a femme fatale—Liang Sheng constantly finds herself trapped in a "shuraba" as the girls fight over her out of jealousy.

This is the story of a "pseudo-straight" girl being pursued by twelve other girls.

T/N: Shuraba literally translates to an "Asura's battlefield"—a scene of intense, bloody, and chaotic conflict. It is most famously used to describe a scenario where multiple romantic interests confront each other over a single protagonist.

Author's Note:

The first few chapters are especially amateurish and stiff, but it later transitions into a wacky, comedic romance.
