Doris gently put Luo Yuxi down and looked at the Time Witch. In their previous encounters, the Time Witch hadn’t shown any desire to attack, allowing Doris to attack freely, yet remaining unharmed.

“You leave, I’ll hold her off. This witch can’t be judged by her Order level…”

Luo Yuxi looked at Doris, seeing such a serious expression on the usually arrogant witch’s face for the first time. Even when facing multiple opponents of the same level, Doris had never been this wary.

The Time Witch’s tone was indifferent, as if stating a simple fact. Doris, her magic power surging, even having lost 2000 years of her lifespan, still radiated immense power.

Doris looked down and saw a dagger embedded in her thigh. She hadn’t even sensed the attack.

Doris punched the ground, a powerful shockwave spreading outwards, creating another crater. The Time Witch remained unfazed, the energy passing through her harmlessly, while Luo Yuxi was sent flying.

Luo Yuxi got up, spitting out dirt, and glanced at Xia, still frozen in time. She pushed her behind a tree and ran towards the glowing barrier.

“Hopefully, news of my antics at the Church hasn’t reached here yet!”

Doris felt a sense of helplessness. Not only was there a difference in their Order levels, but the Time Witch’s ability to control time was practically a cheat. Doris’s enhanced speed only allowed her two seconds of movement during the time freeze.

Doris gathered her magic power while distracting the Time Witch with words, hoping to exceed the time freeze with her speed.

The Time Witch didn’t approach, simply turning away, the flow of time within the domain draining Doris’s life force, her star-like essence fading.

“That should take care of her. Now for the other one…”

The Time Witch walked towards the Church’s camp, enveloped in a divine barrier. Luo Yuxi hadn’t expected even Doris, a 2nd Order, to last only a few minutes.

“I’m Luo Yuxi, a Direct Nun from the southern border! Let me in, I have to talk to the Word Spirit Saintess!”
