As the announcer’s voice faded, the angels in the audience erupted, each one raising their number card, their eyes filled with excitement.

Watching the fierce bidding, even the angel announcer looked at Luo Yuxi with greed. Luo Yuxi, however, looked at the frenzied angels with a complicated expression.

“I don’t understand why I’m so valuable. Maybe I should just find a chance to escape…”

Luo Yuxi muttered, looking at her flimsy silk dress, which barely covered her. Every movement made the fabric sway, threatening to reveal everything.

“I bid 1 million~”

“Alright! 1 million! Any higher bids~?!”

The noisy hall fell silent. Luo Yuxi looked towards the source of the voice and saw a girl in a half-mask in the VIP section, looking at her with interest, her tongue licking her lips, as if she couldn’t wait to taste her.

“Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! She looks like the type who would play me to death!”

Their eyes met, and the girl winked. Luo Yuxi’s legs trembled. The girl’s slender fingers could probably lift her up and play with her like a doll.

“This is bad, I’m going to trigger a new route CG that’s never appeared before…!”

Luo Yuxi’s mind raced, imagining the endless “punishments” that awaited her. Although she wasn’t completely against it, the thought of being toyed with by a race with such a large size difference was terrifying.

Luo Yuxi looked at the girl, who looked like a loli, with no wings or halo, her smile gentle and kind. A human in the angel VIP section? Luo Yuxi thought, She must have taken pity on me and decided to buy me.

“Sarivee! You bastard!!”

A furious voice broke the silence. The angel girl who had bid 1 million stood up, glaring at Sarivee, her tall frame a stark contrast to Sarivee’s petite figure.

“Do you know me, sister? I just bid higher than you. It’s an auction, after all~”

“You!! You! You’ve already bought so many human pets!”

Sarivee’s final bid silenced the angel girl, who looked at Luo Yuxi with a complicated expression, then closed her eyes and sat back down, defeated.

“Sarivee bids 5 million! Any higher bids?!”

“5 million going once!”

“5 million going twice!”

“5 million going thrice!”

“Congratulations to this lady for winning the final item!”

The gavel fell, and Luo Yuxi, the prize, was led away by two harpy guards. The angel onee-san who had wanted to buy her sat in her seat, a look of regret on her face.

Luo Yuxi thought, I’m so lucky, a human girl bought me. Looking at Sarivee’s warm smile, she felt a sense of hope, thinking she would be able to escape soon.

As she passed the VIP section, she heard the angel onee-san muttering,

“If I had more money, I could have saved her. If I had more money, this human wouldn’t have to be tormented by that devil…”

Luo Yuxi’s heart skipped a beat. She looked at the angel onee-san and saw pity in her eyes.

With every step she took, the whispers grew louder. Sarivee’s gentle smile now seemed sinister. When Luo Yuxi finally reached her, she understood the meaning of their “pity.”

Those were Sarivee’s first words. Luo Yuxi instantly knew what awaited her: pure, unadulterated malice. She had seen that look in the eyes of many witches, the desire to possess and destroy.

Sarivee transformed, a black, smoky halo appearing above her head. Luo Yuxi realized she wasn’t human.
