Chapter 8: The Golden Auction
Luo Yuxi stared blankly at the ceiling, then jolted awake, looking at the familiar scene and the game on her computer. She felt like she had just woken from a long dream. She opened the game, eating the instant noodles on her desk.
“Really, what a strange dream. I dreamed I became a game character~”
Luo Yuxi looked at the images on the screen, pulling tissues from a nearby box, her face flushed, her breathing heavy, tears streaming down her face.
“Not enough, not enough tissues! The attack is too fast, I can’t take it~”
She threw the empty box on the floor, the “Game Over” screen mocking her. She had failed to clear the final stage because of her sweaty hands.
“Useless game, wasting my time. I’d rather play with the witches…”
Luo Yuxi paused, surprised by her own words. She looked at the game, Witch’s Disqualification, a strange mix of familiarity and unfamiliarity.
“What’s wrong with me? Why am I thinking such strange things?”
She rubbed her head in frustration. The doorbell rang. She looked through the peephole and saw a deliveryman with a box. She slowly opened the door.
“Hello, your delivery…”
“Oh, thanks. Who’s it from? Did I buy something? I don’t remember…”
Luo Yuxi looked at the package, confused. After signing her name, she looked up, and the deliveryman was gone.
“Strange, where did he go? Doesn’t he need the receipt?”
The scene felt strangely familiar. The package in her hands started beeping. She didn’t even need to open it, she knew what was inside. Her hands trembled, and she dropped the package.
“No, it’s an illusion, it has to be…”
As she reached for the package, it opened, and a bomb with a timer rolled out. The familiar shape, the dream of fire, now a vivid reality.
“I remember now, why am I remembering this…”
Luo Yuxi sighed, looking at her pink-haired reflection in the tile. Everything came flooding back. Then, fire engulfed everything. Luo Yuxi jolted awake.
“A nightmare from a potion… next time, I need to learn a spell to stay awake…”
Luo Yuxi looked around the luxurious room, then at herself. Her nun’s habit was gone, replaced by a see-through gauze dress, her skin exposed, a veil covering her face.
“Who dressed me in this? So embarrassing, it’s like kinky lingerie…”
Luo Yuxi was about to tear it off, but then thought, Tearing it off would be the same as being naked. She decided to look for some normal clothes, hoping to find her nun’s habit.
“This room is so luxurious, but where are the clothes…?”
She opened the wardrobe and was relieved to see clothes inside. But as she rummaged through them, her face darkened. She found a leather catsuit and a pile of other lewd outfits.
“What the hell is this?!”
Luo Yuxi picked up a cat tail, the other end a cone-shaped plug, and felt her head spin.
“Why are there so many sex toys…?”
She heard a noise outside and opened the door, seeing an endless corridor, each step illuminating a glowing pearl, a testament to the place’s luxury. Even the floor was warm beneath her bare feet.
“So clean, not a speck of dust…”
Luo Yuxi followed the sound, the architecture feeling strangely familiar. She carefully opened one of the closed doors and saw a winged girl pinning a human girl down.
“Master! No, Master!”
“I’ve bought you, you’re mine now. Don’t play coy with me~”
Luo Yuxi peeked through the door and saw the human girl, who had given up struggling, being held by the winged girl, her legs on her shoulders, their lips locked. With each slow, grinding movement, the girl’s body trembled. But after only a minute, the winged girl collapsed onto the human girl, a satisfied look on her face.
“Feeling good~? See… see, I fucked you until you passed out~”
The winged girl fell asleep.
The human girl, her tears still wet on her cheeks, looked at the sleeping girl and pushed her onto the bed.
“Really, buying me and then only lasting a minute? What a one-minute woman…”
Luo Yuxi carefully closed the door. She hadn’t expected this place to be like this. If she had stayed in her room, would a harpy girl have come for her? She also hadn’t expected the “session” to be so short.
“Should I go back and check? No, there’s no point. But this hallway, the width is normal, but the height…”
Luo Yuxi noticed the strange proportions of the hallway. It was five or six meters high. Why would such a luxurious place be designed like this? Then she heard a commotion in the distance.

Luo Yuxi saw the faint halo above the girl’s head. Although it was cracked and dim, she knew she was facing a real angel. But this angel was nearly three meters tall, which explained the strangely designed hallway.
“Come on, you’re the next item…”
“Item?”
“So many questions? Just come…”
Luo Yuxi felt the angel push her forward, but she stopped and turned around. If she was an item, what about the mother and daughter who had brought her here?
“Excuse me, the mother and daughter who brought me here, did they receive their reward?”
“Reward? Hahaha, yes, they received their reward. They were the previous auction item, a high-quality mother-daughter pair~”

Luo Yuxi was stunned, but seeing the angel’s impatient expression, she decided to play along and see what would happen. She was led to a large door, which opened to reveal a lavishly decorated hall.
“Beautiful angels~ Beloved apostles of the gods, may you return to the divine realm. Now, for our final auction item~”
As Luo Yuxi was brought onto the stage, a bright light shone on her, making her squint. She saw a sea of halos and wings, the greedy gazes of countless angel girls fixed on her.
“A high-quality pink-haired human pet, with a perfect figure, her skin as smooth as precious silk~”
The holy light made the gauze dress she was wearing seem to disappear, her private parts barely covered, as if to tempt the audience. Luo Yuxi blushed, listening to the announcer describe her body.
“Look at these delicate fingers. Even for a human, her beauty is second only to ours. Imagine these fingers tracing the patterns on your wings~”
The angels in the audience seemed to be lost in their fantasies. Luo Yuxi, looking at them imagining her, felt a strange sensation.

The announcer, seeing the restless audience, knew the atmosphere was right and smiled mysteriously.

The crowd erupted. The angels, who had been murmuring, now shouted their bids, even before the announcer had officially started the auction. Luo Yuxi looked at the frenzied angels.
“I expected this, but seeing myself so popular, I’m such a sinful woman…”
The announcer calmed the crowd. Luo Yuxi looked at the angels, their eyes practically sparkling with hearts. She felt like an otaku whose 2D waifu had suddenly come to life.
“Starting bid: 10,000 Holy Crystals! Let the bidding begin, ladies~!”
