Chapter 61: Can’t We Just Do Business?
Four younger brothers, armed with cleavers, approached the entrance. Through the glass, they could vaguely see a figure standing there, holding something.
They nodded to each other, and two of them opened the double doors.
“Mr. Huo, don’t open the door! Our men at the gate have been killed!”
The walkie-talkie in Huo Wannian’s pocket blared. It was the man in charge of surveillance, who had just now noticed the situation.
But the door was already open. The four younger brothers saw the man standing before them.
He smiled, a golden horse-slaying saber resting on his shoulder, two human heads in his right hand. The bodies lay beside him.
“Here, your delivery.”
Tang Ze smiled and tossed the heads, which rolled onto the dining table, staining the delicious food with blood.
Gag!
Several of the men vomited. The severed windpipes were clearly visible.
Huo Wannian’s face hardened. He looked at the delivery guy. Delivery guy? Is he with Xi Meng? Is he crazy, coming here alone?!
“Kill him!”
Huo Wannian roared. You had a choice, but you chose death. Leave your life here, and let’s see what Xi Meng has left to rely on!
Tang Ze was taken aback. “Hey, Mr. Huo, I came to discuss business.”
Huo Wannian had never met such a shameless person. You bring the heads of my men and say you want to discuss business? Is this your way of doing business?
The four younger brothers didn’t care. They had to avenge their fallen brothers. Killing him might even earn them a reward, perhaps a college girl.
Seeing the four cleavers coming at him, Tang Ze sighed helplessly. “I knew it. Like boss, like men. You’re all making this difficult.”
With a single slash, the four men froze, their arms falling to the ground, cleavers still in hand. Then, their heads rolled off, blood spewing from their headless bodies, as if welcoming the king of blood.
This move stunned everyone. He wasn’t just strong; he was monstrously strong!
How much strength did that single slash require?!
“Move!”
Huo Wannian shouted, jumping down with his shotgun and aiming it at Tang Ze. To improve his accuracy, he moved a little closer. These days, a single bullet was more precious than gold.
His men, seeing him use the gun, cheered.
What’s a saber in the face of a firearm? A primitive weapon.
“You’re the delivery guy with Xi Meng?”
Huo Wannian suddenly didn’t want to kill him just yet. If Tang Ze could work for him, his own power would be greatly enhanced.
Tang Ze nodded and smiled. “Yes. I came to discuss business, but your men outside wouldn’t let me. They even drew their knives on me. I was just acting in self-defense. Don’t blame me, Mr. Huo.”
Huo Wannian’s face twitched. You killed my men and told me not to blame you? How can someone be so shameless?
“What business do you want to discuss?”
Huo Wannian asked in a low voice.
“Just cooperate with me in an act. It’s very simple.”
“What’s in it for me?”
Tang Ze laughed. “Your lives! Isn’t that a good deal?”
“You’re fucking messing with me! You son of a bitch!”
Huo Wannian wasn’t Xi Meng. Being insulted by a delivery guy was too much. He didn’t care if he was a master. He would just shoot him.
Seeing Tang Ze charge at him, Huo Wannian fired!
Bang!
“Mr. Huo, your aim is worse than my cat’s.”
Tang Ze grabbed the barrel of the gun and pointed it upwards, not forgetting to taunt him.
Huo Wannian looked at him in disbelief. He had pulled the trigger, but it was as if it had been stuck until the delivery guy grabbed the barrel and lifted it.
“Let go!”
Huo Wannian shouted in panic. His men’s excitement turned to fear. The gun was being held by someone else.
“You’re a boss, can’t you be a little smarter?”
He kicked Huo Wannian in the stomach, and Huo Wannian crumpled to the ground, his grip on the shotgun loosening.
Tang Ze picked up the shotgun and loaded a shell. “Why did you have to make me kick you? Why, Mr. Huo?”
His men, seeing the loaded shotgun, backed away, not daring to get closer. In this apocalyptic world, the threat of a gun was terrifying.
Huo Wannian looked at his men, his lips trembling with anger. They’re all so scared!
“What are you afraid of?! He’s just one man! There are only three bullets left in the gun! Kill him, and you can have any woman you want! You’ll be the boss of this district!”
Tang Ze clicked his tongue and aimed the shotgun at Huo Wannian. “Mr. Huo, doing business with you is really difficult. You’re making me very unhappy.”
“What are you doing?!”
Huo Wannian’s eyes were filled with panic.
“What do you think?”
Huo Wannian screamed hysterically, “Kill him! Kill him now!”
Bang!
All the men with their cleavers raised paused. Their boss…
Huo Wannian’s face… was blown off…
Bang!
Bang!
Each shot hit Huo Wannian’s face, splattering blood and brain matter everywhere. His head was reduced to a bloody pulp. His men were stunned by Tang Ze’s ruthlessness.
They had killed people before, but never like this.
“So few bullets. Anyone have some to spare?”
Tang Ze racked the shotgun. Such a big boss, and he only had a few bullets. What a disappointment.
His men stared at him, dumbfounded. Lend you some bullets? Do we look like idiots?
“Brothers! He’s out of bullets! Whoever kills him is the new boss!”
Someone in the crowd shouted.
This was the most tempting reward. Everyone wanted to be the boss.
Seeing the crowd surge forward again, Tang Ze shook his head helplessly and reached into his pocket, pulling out a red shotgun shell.
The men in the front froze. He had shotgun shells in his pocket?
How was that possible?!
Seeing Tang Ze loading the gun, one of the men’s eyes turned red. This was his chance to become the boss! He had to get him before he finished loading!
Click.
“Sorry, you were a little slow.”
Tang Ze smiled at the man.
Bang!
The man was thrown back two meters, a bloody hole appearing in his chest.
The men behind him, hearing the gunshot, panicked. Who said he was out of bullets?! This is a suicide mission!
“Kill me, and you’ll be the boss. What are you waiting for?”
Tang Ze blew the head off the nearest man, then loaded another shell.
Another man rushed from behind, and Tang Ze simply pointed the gun back.
Bang!
Another one down, his face mangled, his eyeball hanging out.
Who would dare to approach now? He was a monster.
“Brothers, attack! What are you afraid of? He only has a few bullets, and there are many of us!”
