16. The Election
“Celes, try flapping your wings.”
Reina said, holding up the little dragon.
Calysia was on the side, ready to catch Celes, who was about to take off and land.
“Fly with confidence, Celes. I can catch you.”
“Awoo…”
The vast grassland was like a thick head of green hair. In the distance, there were some nomads of unknown races. They had originally just gone for a walk, but Celes had become more and more excited. She seemed to prefer the open spaces.
Celes stretched her neck, trying to see the end of the grassland. Sometimes she would even flap her wings… and as a result, she suddenly took off! And so the scene began.
But seeing this, Celes shook her head, as if she had encountered an unprecedented difficulty.
Reina also knew that it was too difficult for a one-month-old dragon to learn to fly.
“The little dragon is exhausted. Let’s go home. We still have to attend the elven queen’s election tomorrow. By the way, let’s go to the library together. Celes has never been to the library in the Silver Dragon Airspace.”
For the past two weeks, they had spent most of their days traveling outside, either familiarizing themselves with various people and things in the Silver Dragon Airspace, enjoying the unique scenery of the Sky King, or traveling to the uninhabited area on the northern coast of the Silver Dragon Airspace, experiencing nature. Besides seeing Mura, they rarely went to the elven race.
At night, Reina would continue to perfect the “Dragon Mother’s Guide.”
Reina discovered that besides the dragon race, she seemed to have the potential to gain more fans. Could it be that she really had some talent in this area?
She had originally thought that the dragon race’s fans couldn’t compare to the fans of other races, but she didn’t expect that in the last few days of August, there would be a so-called “fan meeting.” According to Fire’s statistics, and from what Reina had learned at Liya’s banquet, dragon fans might actually be even more fanatical?
The next day, Reina took Celes and Calysia to attend the final election for the Elven Queen.
The election for the Elven Queen was simple.
They would compete in various abilities in a specific venue, display their various achievements in recent years, and undergo a [trial].
The location was a huge circular platform on the cliff of the central city.
But no one could surpass Mura in the [trial].
Even the last competitor, Isabella, voluntarily gave up competing with Mura on the same stage.
She had been able to persevere until now, thanks to Elena’s influence.
So, on the day of the Elven Queen election, at Elena’s suggestion, Isabella would participate in the final speech.
The speech was held in a magnificent hall.
The dark elves had prepared a separate private room for the Dragon King’s family. As for the other figures who didn’t want to show their faces, they were mostly noble guests from other races. Pulling open the curtains, through a small railing, they could see the entire election venue.
The speech was the final process of the election. At this point, everything was basically settled.
“Mama, am I the Dragon King?”
Watching Mura’s speech, Celes said in a low voice.
To be honest, this question was quite embarrassing. Fortunately, it was her own child who said it.
Calysia said with a smile:
“You are a dragon princess now. You might be the Dragon King in the future.”
Reina looked at Calysia with an incredulous expression. No dragon was stronger than her. The only one at level 195, Reina herself, was even her vassal. As long as she wanted, Reina would immediately become her combat power.
Now that her goddess power had been greatly restored, Reina knew better than anyone how profound the influence of vassalization was. She could even control a vassal’s mind and make them execute any cruel command. But Calysia had done nothing.
If she wanted to be the Dragon King, she could be one for a lifetime.
“Being a Dragon King is too tiring. I just want to play with Reina every day. It’s so good to be cultivating a successor now~”
“You dragon…”
“Play with Mama?” Celes had a question mark on her face.
“It’s about making more Celeses with Mama,” Calysia decided to explain in a way Celes could understand.
But Celes didn’t understand at all.
Make more of me?
Isn’t there only one of me?
“I’m a princess!”
Celes simply stopped thinking and buried her face in Mother Reina’s chest.
“You’re a dummy,” seeing Celes’s cute appearance, Reina’s tense mood eased a little. She blushed and tried to divert her attention by stroking her back.
“I’m a dummy!”
After Celes fell asleep, she finally said to Calysia:
“Master, you’re teaching Celes bad things again!”
“Isn’t it important for children to learn these things in advance~”
“Where is it important? Do you think everyone is like you, with a mind full of dirty thoughts? You want to have me every day, you dummy!”
Reina said, but she didn’t react when she was kissed by Calysia.
Afterwards, she looked at the other with an aggrieved expression, her resentful little eyes conveying her anger.
Calysia understood in a second and continued to kiss Reina.
Fortunately, the curtains were drawn, and no one could see the scene inside the private room.
After Mura’s speech was over, the hall erupted in fierce applause. Only then did Reina recover from the sweet kiss, her whole body burning hot. Her master’s bodily fluids were like a (meow~) drug to her.
After Mura’s speech, Isabella tiptoed onto the stage. She had just taken a dose of the red magnetic flower medicine, and her spirit and complexion were much better.
But no one applauded. Everyone just quietly watched her give her speech. Her voice was sometimes low and sometimes melodious, but it couldn’t arouse anyone’s confidence.
Reina had previously predicted that Mura had less than a five percent chance of losing this election, and that was until all her opponents had given up the [trial] due to the huge power gap.
Therefore, Mura’s winning rate was higher than ninety-nine percent.
And the remaining one percent was now exposing Mura’s identity.
The main reason why Reina was sitting here was to wait for Isabella to expose Mura’s identity, and what Reina had to do was to use her absolute strength to erase their memories and let the election proceed normally.
Calysia’s absolute strength.
Although it was embarrassing to say…
The dark elf race was already hers.
Next was to wait for Isabella to “show her cards.”
The reason she dared to stand here must be because she had some preparation.
Reina could also see through the [Eye of Light] that she was confident this time. However, her current Light level and her pregnant state couldn’t support her to see the deeper content.
She had to stop Isabella from creating a “miracle” and snatching the throne from Mura, or something…
However, the so-called “miracle” did not exist.
Because all miracles were inevitable results.
Reina hated this word very much, because it meant that the people who could say “miracle” were just weak people who couldn’t grasp the future.
In a daze, Reina discovered…
The speech was over.
Everything was so plain.
Then, the whole audience cheered, celebrating the birth of their new queen.
As for Isabella, she did nothing, just silently turned and left, leaving the venue.
