Panda Cub, So Cute and Fierce 11

Chapter 11: Conquest

=====================

He Jingsu’s eyes sparkled, looking extremely happy.

Bei Queting felt a momentary urge to retreat under her gaze. She lowered her eyes for a moment, then said softly, “Don’t call me teacher.”

She preferred He Jingsu to call her Beibei—a unique name that belonged only to her.

“But you are Teacher Bei,” He Jingsu said, propping her face in her hands on the desk. Thinking of Bei Queting teaching at the front of the class, her eyebrows drooped, and she said with a hint of reluctance, “Why aren’t you coming to teach us?”

The people in their class clearly liked Beibei. It would be better to teach them than this group!

Nearby students who overheard He Jingsu’s words immediately looked over, then at Bei Queting, afraid that she would give in to He Jingsu’s persuasion and agree to teach class 16.

Bei Queting didn’t say anything, just reached out and gently pinched her little cheek, her lips curving into a warm smile.

The other students were a little dazed by Bei Queting’s smile. She really was different in front of He Jingsu. Without He Jingsu, who else could make her smile like that?

He Jingsu looked at the lesson plan she was making and asked, puzzled, “Are you teaching next?”

“Mhm, so I’m going over it first,” Bei Queting said, her expression gentle, as if she could only see He Jingsu.

Hearing this, He Jingsu didn’t say anything more. She rested her chin on her arms and quietly kept her company. Just being by Bei Queting’s side like this was never boring for her.

The male student who had tried to talk to He Jingsu before watched their interaction, a thoughtful look in his eyes. After all, in today’s society, it wasn’t just about love between men and women. Same-sex relationships were becoming more visible, and they even had the legal right to marry.

These two, although they had grown up together, were a bit too clingy, weren’t they? What normal sisters were this close? But looking at them, it didn’t seem like they were in that kind of relationship either.

He clicked his tongue and looked at He Jingsu’s soft little face, rubbing his chin.

When it was time for class, He Jingsu went back. Bei Queting saw that it was about time and slowly walked up to the podium. As she stepped up, the somewhat noisy classroom suddenly fell silent. Everyone returned to their seats and looked up at the front.

“I’m sure you’ve all heard. Since you have, I won’t say much more. Let’s officially begin class,” Bei Queting said in a calm voice. Strangely, her voice wasn’t loud, but everyone in the class could hear her clearly.

Hearing her voice and seeing her cool expression, for some reason, apart from a few individuals, everyone else quietly took out their textbooks as instructed, opened to the specified page, and listened to her voice, which was like a clear mountain spring. Gradually, they were drawn into a state of learning.

The first class went very smoothly. Bei Queting at the podium appeared extremely calm and composed, able to explain all the concepts in the simplest terms for others to understand more deeply. She could remain so calm, but some people couldn’t.

She was still a student, after all. The dean was worried she wouldn’t be able to control the rascals below, so he had turned on the surveillance camera in class 6 to listen in on the lesson. Seeing the rascals behaving so well, the dean nodded in satisfaction. The other teachers watching with him also said in surprise, “They’re actually listening to her so well. Even their fidgeting has decreased.”

Every teacher had had a headache over students’ fidgeting.

“If she decides to become a teacher in the future, she’ll definitely be a great talent,” the dean said. She had a natural air of authority that made people trust her. When she stood there, few would dare to act out.

“If she wants to become a teacher in the future, it would be best if we could recruit her back here,” a teacher joked. But it seemed unlikely. Bei Queting didn’t look like someone who wanted to be a teacher.

The dean just smiled and didn’t say anything more.

Bei Queting’s first class went by without anyone causing trouble, which was unexpected for her. She had thought that someone who disliked her would try to disrupt the class to embarrass her. It seemed they knew how to distinguish the time and place for such things.

When the bell rang, Bei Queting closed her book and said calmly, “If you still have questions about today’s lesson, you can come and ask me later.”

Before, they had only thought that Bei Queting’s grades were better than theirs. But after her class, everyone clearly realized the vast difference between them. Concepts they had found completely baffling, she could explain in simple, easy-to-understand terms. It was clear that her grasp and application of the knowledge were far deeper than theirs.

Insurmountable.

At this moment, this was the only thought in every student’s mind. If it were just a matter of being a good student, they might have felt they had a chance to compete. But now, realizing that her knowledge went far beyond what they had imagined, they could only feel a sense of being left in the dust.

When He Jingsu came to find Bei Queting, she saw that the atmosphere in class 6 was very strange. Some were silent, others looked dazed. It was also very lively, with everyone gathered around Bei Queting’s desk. Several girls were chattering around her, while Bei Queting, in the center of them, remained calm, unhurriedly working out various formulas on scratch paper and explaining the concepts.

He Jingsu was dumbfounded. It had only been one class period. What had happened?

She approached, and when the others saw her, they put their hands together and said pitifully, “Junior He, please wait a moment. Lend us Bei Queting for a little while. We still have some concepts we don’t understand.”

Seeing them like this, a far cry from their previous avoidance, He Jingsu was bewildered again. She looked around and saw some boys who wanted to come over but were too shy because of the crowd of girls.

What happened?

She stared with wide, confused eyes, looking even more dazed.

Bei Queting saw her expression and let out a low laugh. “Daidai, you should go back first. I’ll come find you during the long break,” she said warmly.

He Jingsu looked at the other girls, then at the practice problems on Bei Queting’s desk, and finally nodded obediently. “Then you have to remember to come find me.”

When Bei Queting comes to find me, I’ll quickly pull her away so no one else can bother her, right?

“Mhm.” Bei Queting’s expression was gentle.

After He Jingsu left, the students around her clearly felt Bei Queting revert to her previous cool demeanor.

The students were speechless. The double standard was too obvious!

He Jingsu returned to her class and tapped Zhou Li on the shoulder. When she turned around, she asked, “Didn’t you say you have a friend in class 6? Can you help me ask what happened last class?”

“Huh? Did something happen to Bei Queting again?” Zhou Li asked nervously. She hoped nothing had happened to upset this cute girl in front of her.

“It’s not that something happened, it’s just that their attitude changed so strangely,” He Jingsu said, her brow furrowed.

“Oh, oh, wait a minute, I’ll ask.” Zhou Li took out her phone and quickly asked her friend in class 6 for information.

Seeing her take out her phone, He Jingsu also took out her own and looked at it. Xingzhi High wasn’t very strict about students having phones. As long as they weren’t used in class, they could be used at other times. Even so, He Jingsu’s phone was practically a decoration.

She didn’t really like playing on her phone; she preferred to spend time talking with Bei Queting.

“I found out!” Zhou Li said quickly.

He Jingsu and Qiu Si both looked at her.

“Bei Queting’s lecture was too good!” Zhou Li exclaimed, showing them her phone screen. “Look at all the praise.”

Zhou Li felt like her friend had used every complimentary word she knew.

Bei Queting had completely conquered them with her ability!

He Jingsu looked at the words of praise on the screen, rubbed her chin, and her eyebrows drooped again. “See, it would be great if Beibei could come and teach us!”

That way, she could not only listen to Beibei’s lecture but also see her!

Zhou Li was speechless. Who wouldn’t want Bei Queting to come and teach? But it was impossible!

But then again…

She looked at He Jingsu and let out a creepy giggle. If He Jingsu were to ask, maybe it wasn’t so impossible?

He Jingsu watched the people fawning over the little fluffy bird and felt an instinctual displeasure.

The little fluffy bird was clearly hers. What right did they have to covet her little bird?

She could treat the little bird better than any of them!

As a Northern Long-tailed Tit, Bei Queting was supposed to huddle with other tits for warmth, but she was ostracized. She learned to be cautious from a young age. After being driven out of her flock’s territory, she met a very cute girl.

The girl’s true form was a panda cub with a pair of wings. She was incredibly good to her, letting her run wild.

And she meant that literally—running wild on top of her head.

As Bei Queting nestled on the panda’s head, she thought, I want to be with He Jingsu forever.

Coincidentally, that was exactly what He Jingsu was thinking, too.

A naturally dazed, doting panda with a strong desire to pamper her wife (Gong/Top) x A little fluffy bird who is soft on the outside, strong on the inside, and incredibly possessive (Shou/Bottom).

A sweet, heartwarming story about the daily lives of childhood sweethearts.
