A Girl Dies Every Day in Her Dream Life 283(End)

Final Chapter: “The End”

“Do you still remember, Sister Xue’er?”

Ling Ling leaned against the window, gazing at the Primordial Chaos beyond the world fragment, the false starry sky dotted with faint, shimmering lights, a subtle hint of death and destruction, as if everything was inevitably approaching its end. A faint smile played on her lips, but her eyes held a deep sadness and regret.

“Back in the camp, you were the smartest big sister, and I was just a foolish child, incapable of anything, relying entirely on you. If not for your protection… the other children would have driven me away, a burden to them.”

“Back then, in my eyes, you were so capable, so powerful, able to do anything. Even the tallest of them… didn’t dare to argue with you. So, when it was just the two of us left in the camp, I was actually happy, because no one else could share you with me anymore.”

“But you were always like this, coming and going so quickly…”

“The first time I saw your burned-down house, I was so sad. I thought you were dead, Sister Xue’er, but then, as I was crying, you suddenly appeared, haha… I was so embarrassed, but… the next day, you were truly gone.”

“I searched and searched, but I couldn’t find you… until two years later, when I had given up all hope, I met you again by chance.”

“Even now… those two years still feel so long, just like these three thousand years, but thankfully, I finally have an answer, not just regret.”

“Whether it’s two years or three thousand, I don’t want to experience that waiting again.” Ling Ling looked up, her eyes shining like stars. “So this time… Sister Xue’er, please don’t let me wait too long, okay?”

Su Yiyao huddled in a corner, her small body curled up, just like in the past.

She looked up, countless stories reflected in her beautiful eyes.

“Ah Chou… I know, this isn’t your real name, but I just don’t want to change it, because… this is our memory, a memory only we share. Anyone can call you Luo Xue, but Ah Chou—you will always be mine.”

“You’re a liar, deceiving me again and again, and I’m a fool, believing you again and again.”

“On Mount Fengyin, I believed your words, that we would all survive, but only I was saved. In the Sea of Withering, you told me you were just taking a short nap, but that nap lasted fifteen hundred years. You’re a liar, a big liar!”

Tears welled up in her eyes, and she wiped them away with the back of her hand, composing herself, then continued,

“But I’m always willing to be deceived by you… I’m such a fool, Ah Chou… this time, please don’t lie to me, okay?”

“You will… you will definitely… survive, right?”

Su Yiyao raised her hand, her pinky finger trembling slightly.

“Pinky swear, ten thousand years…”

“Forever, no changing.”

“—Don’t change!”

“If Ling Ling and Su Yiyao both fell into the Primordial Chaos, and you could only save one, who would you choose?”

A familiar yet unrecognizable voice, teasing, echoed in Luo Xue’s mind. She couldn’t remember who it was.

“Who… would I save?”

“Who…”

“It’s… a difficult choice.”

Luo Xue sighed.

Having reached the end of the Path of Ending, her precious memories were fading, even her parting words to Ling Ling and Su Yiyao were blurry.

At the same time, Luo Xue’s perspective expanded infinitely, as if overlooking the entire world bubble containing the Great Thousand Worlds.

Countless world fragments were scattered within, the terrifying Primordial Chaos seemingly dissolving everything.

And what was even more terrifying was that countless filthy things, filled with death, silence, and despair, had contaminated more than half of the world bubble, everywhere filled with extreme “malice,” a desolate and tragic sight.

Luo Xue could sense the power of this malice, the hope and resentment within it, the endless vengeful will and fanatical rage of the celestial ship’s crew, constantly urging her to destroy the god, their enemy, at any cost.

This was the will of the Immortal Slaughter clan that Dugu Di had carried for countless years. It was hard to imagine how he had endured… until his mind finally collapsed.

The clan’s hatred, amplified and twisted by “malice,” until their tragic end, all becoming slaves to “malice,” even the world fragments of the Great Thousand Worlds couldn’t escape.

Luo Xue now also faced this unbearable will, but with a wave of her hand, all the twisted wills and obsessions dissipated.

Because Luo Xue wasn’t a slave to “malice,” but its master.

Neither the power of the otherworldly demons nor the deep space behemoths could contaminate or influence her.

Although Luo Xue couldn’t, like Dugu Di, use this twisted obsession to control the otherworldly demons and have them carry out her revenge, she had her own methods.

Having reached the end of the Great Dao, Luo Xue looked ahead, and the shadow of the god “Doomsday” faintly appeared, seemingly mocking her, waiting for her collapse.

Yes, all the Great Daos of the past had crumbled before this Shadow of Doomsday, all the Great Emperors falling under His gaze, only a few lucky ones escaping.

Now, Luo Xue, having reached the Great Emperor Realm, faced the same problem.

—The inescapable Shadow of Doomsday.

The only complete Great Dao, the Law of Ending, seemed destined to repeat the ancient tribulation, becoming another collapsed Dao under His gaze.

Luo Xue closed her eyes, and a mysterious song, in an unknown language, echoed around her.

At this moment, she became malice incarnate.

Her silver hair flowed, her small figure silently falling through the Primordial Chaos, endless malice surging forth, a twisted will standing amidst the shattered Great Thousand Worlds.

All the otherworldly demons, sensing this will, rushed towards her, their eyes filled with terror and greed, their uncontrollable instincts overriding their fear, but before “malice,” they were nothing.

The gaze of the Shadow of Doomsday was interrupted, blocked by these otherworldly demons, which, although as fragile as paper under His gaze, unable to withstand even a single breath, their numbers, after Dugu Di’s two-thousand-year expansion, were terrifying.

The power of another god, “Malice,” couldn’t be directly annihilated by the Shadow of Doomsday, only exhausted, until it faded.

As the figure at the end of the Dao dimmed, the Great Dao of Ending was finally complete, without any signs of collapse.

Luo Xue slowly opened her eyes, surrounded by grayish-white, translucent shadows, the trapped souls and wills within the otherworldly demons. They looked at Luo Xue with gratitude, then dissipated, becoming a part of the boundless Primordial Chaos.

The Immortal Slaughter clan’s obsession had not only led to their own demise, but also brought a great calamity upon the Great Thousand Worlds. Only now, with the otherworldly demon’s power fading under His gaze, did the suffering finally end.

But for Luo Xue, this was just the beginning.

With just a single Dao, the remains of a god, wanting to challenge a true god… was a fantasy.

But Luo Xue could do more than that.

“If… in the Primordial Chaos, I could only save either Xiao Yao or A’Ling, if I truly had to make such a choice…” Luo Xue raised her hand slightly, clenching her fist in the void, “—I would destroy the entire Primordial Chaos.”

…Collapse.

Including the Great Thousand Worlds, the entire Primordial Chaos began to collapse.

The Primordial Chaos, the breeding ground of countless worlds, was now contaminated by “Doomsday” and “malice,” filled with terrifying illusions.

Just then, the scattered Seas of Withering resonated, the flesh and blood shattered by God regaining their “deathly” nature, the Great Dao of Ending, which had reached its limit, extending further.

The end of the Dao was the limit for living beings, beyond that was the realm of gods.

But under the influence of “withering,” the collapsing Primordial Chaos became the foundation of the Great Dao of Ending, pushing it further.

The illusory Shadow of Doomsday became clearer.

He waited for Luo Xue at the end of the path, his calm, distant gaze upon her, but no longer causing the Dao to collapse, the worlds to shatter.

Only a god could fight a god.

Luo Xue wasn’t a god, but she was closer now.

However… it wasn’t enough, she still couldn’t reach the Shadow of Doomsday.

But the Great Dao of Ending continued to extend.

Luo Xue walked forward, surrounded by flickering phantoms, the mighty beings who had fallen in the ancient era, victims of the divine disaster.

Some had been Great Emperors, some quasi-emperors, all waiting for their chance.

All of them had fallen at the hands of “Doomsday.”

Although their souls and consciousnesses were long gone, the marks they left behind remained, eternally inextinguishable.

All hope rested on this final Dao, and as the Great Dao of Ending extended further, Luo Xue finally saw the Shadow of Doomsday clearly.

But it was… her own image, which didn’t surprise Luo Xue.

Because the Shadow of Doomsday was like a mirror, appearing at the end of every Dao, using their own shadows to shatter them, the collapsing doom engulfing all the Great Emperors, but they were helpless, because “Doomsday” had walked further on their path than they had.

Luo Xue was the first, and the only one, in the Great Thousand Worlds who could approach the Shadow of Doomsday.

Although she was only close, not yet touching it, it was already unprecedented.

The Immortal Slaughter clan’s plan, even at full power, could only allow them a glimpse of the Shadow of Doomsday, let alone approach it. Dugu Di knew his plan was doomed.

Now, the only hope lay with Luo Xue.

She wasn’t a god yet, but she had surpassed Great Emperor, a demigod.

At this moment, the Shadow of Doomsday seemed to awaken, His gaze towards Luo Xue no longer mechanical and cold, but carrying a strange, indescribable liveliness.

Like a newborn, curiously looking at this world, at Luo Xue.

Under His gaze, Luo Xue’s power seemed to be stripped away, the withering and immortality of the Law of Ending, the divine remains of “Malice,” all gone, leaving only her purest self.

Luo Xue, a unique existence.

She finally understood the fear of the ancient Great Emperors, the terror of having their power stripped away, the reason for their collapse.

But Luo Xue was different. She was used to being small and insignificant, and losing her power only brought her peace.

Space and time froze, the collapse of the Primordial Chaos stopped, the surrounding world fragments stilled, only Luo Xue and the Shadow of Doomsday remained.

Doomsday was coming.

“Doomsday” had arrived.

But… so what?

Luo Xue took a step forward.

The Great Dao of Ending, which had reached its limit, extended further.

There was no longer any power that could help her. The gaze of “Doomsday” had isolated her, but she broke free from this terrifying constraint.

Another step.

And another.

Luo Xue continued walking, the Great Dao of Ending extending beneath her feet, approaching the Shadow of Doomsday, rapidly ascending towards the realm of gods.

Nothing could stop her, not even a god, not even Doomsday.

Finally, Luo Xue stood before the Shadow of Doomsday, the god who had brought such calamity upon the Great Thousand Worlds.

Luo Xue wanted to greet Him, but when she reached out, the Shadow of Doomsday silently dissipated like wind, without warning.

What…

Luo Xue’s expression turned to surprise, then countless memories, belonging to the Shadow of Doomsday, flooded her mind.

She saw the magnificent Great Daos of the Great Thousand Worlds, the countless Great Emperors standing at the peak, then their collapse and fall, the shattering of the world.

The departure of the nine celestial ships, three self-destructing under His gaze, five reduced to empty husks in the Primordial Chaos, only one escaping, bringing a new disaster to another world.

For a moment, Luo Xue became Doomsday.

And then, Luo Xue learned a terrifying truth.

…The god “Doomsday” had never truly descended upon this world. He had just glanced at it from afar, and this world, remembering His gaze, carried His mark.

The nightmare of countless Great Emperors, the reason Phoenix Venerable and the Phoenix Emperor didn’t dare to break through to Great Emperor, the Shadow of Doomsday at the end of the Dao… it was just the lingering echo of His gaze.

The true “Doomsday” had never arrived.

Just a single, distant glance from “Doomsday” had shattered the Great Thousand Worlds. It was unimaginable what would happen if he truly descended…

Having received the memories of the Shadow of Doomsday, Luo Xue had a deeper understanding of gods.

A god was an “absolute,” an inviolable rule, above the Great Dao.

If the god “Doomsday” appeared in the Great Thousand Worlds, its destruction would be inevitable.

Only another absolute rule could contend with it.

The Immortal Slaughter clan’s idea wasn’t wrong. The otherworldly demons, created using the power of another god, could indeed resist “Doomsday,” but that was all. Trying to kill “Doomsday” with them was a fantasy.

The terrifying aspect of a god was that anyone connected to it would be marked, inescapable, which was why the nine celestial ships encountered the divine disaster.

The reason Xuangu Ship survived was that it was tainted by the power of another god.

Absolute rules couldn’t coexist, gods couldn’t meet.

And the rules of any god were terrifying, incompatible with ordinary life.

Therefore, even though Luo Xue had annihilated the Shadow of Doomsday, the Great Thousand Worlds, still carrying His mark, would eventually face true Doomsday.

The past nightmare would return.

Unless… it was enveloped by the rule of another god.

—The god “Malice”?

The otherworldly demons that plagued the Great Thousand Worlds were the result of “malice,” and the desolate deep space of the other world was also a consequence of “malice.”

Bringing the god “Malice” to this world would only bring the same disaster.

Destruction by “Doomsday” or by “Malice” made no difference.

And now… there was only one possibility, one option.

The only remaining Dao in the Great Thousand Worlds, the Great Dao of Ending, had almost reached the level of a god. If a mere mortal could rival a god, this was her only chance.

…And also the only chance for the Great Thousand Worlds to survive.

Luo Xue looked up at the place where the Shadow of Doomsday had been. She knew that with one more step, the Great Dao of Ending would become an absolute rule, and she, mastering it, would become a new god.

But at this moment, she hesitated.

Of the two gods she knew, neither could coexist with life, not even in her subconscious memories of the distant past. Absolute rules brought absolute doom.

If the Great Dao of Ending became an absolute rule, would the Great Thousand Worlds be forever plunged into an abyss of withering and immortality?

Luo Xue didn’t know, no one knew the consequences, not even a god.

She didn’t know if she could retain her sense of self after becoming a god, or if she would become a new calamity, bringing another kind of despair to the Great Thousand Worlds, a despair that would completely destroy it.

“So… what should I do?” Luo Xue looked at where the Shadow of Doomsday had been, now gone.

No one could give her the answer.

But… there was a solution.

“There’s another world,” Luo Xue said softly, as if realizing something, “a world touched by a god, but not completely destroyed.”

It was the post-apocalyptic world where Xuangu Ship had escaped the divine disaster, a world filled with “malice”… or rather, an incomplete world bubble.

Compared to the Great Thousand Worlds, its world bubble was insignificant, with only a single, incomplete world fragment within its vast deep space. It wasn’t a normal world bubble, more like a… fragment.

A “fragment” detached from a true world bubble.

She didn’t know why “malice” hadn’t completely consumed it yet, but if there was a place that could escape the divine disaster, it would be this world.

Thinking of this, Luo Xue no longer hesitated. If she didn’t become a god, “Doomsday” would eventually return, and then… it wouldn’t be just a lingering echo.

If true Doomsday descended, no living being could survive.

Luo Xue took a step forward, crossing the boundary between god and mortal.

The Great Dao of Ending ascended, becoming the absolute, inviolable rule of the Great Thousand Worlds.

Luo Xue felt a momentary daze, fragmented images flashing through her mind, and when she regained her senses, the Great Thousand Worlds below her had changed.

Most of the world fragments, eroded and shattered by the otherworldly demon, were either eternally silent, or burning with inextinguishable flames.

This was the power of the god “Ending,” gradually taking over this world.

Luo Xue was the god “Ending.”

…The remains of a god, the echo of a god, the final Dao of a world, the tragic wish of a dying race, all combined to create this unique god.

Luo Xue could sense it, she was the first god born from a mortal, there had never been one before, and perhaps there wouldn’t be another.

The will of the world embraced Luo Xue, a sorrowful celebration of a god’s birth, and the arrival of a new despair.

But Luo Xue didn’t hesitate. She calmed herself and looked at the few remaining world fragments clinging to existence in a corner of the Great Thousand Worlds, her expression turning serious.

“Ending” hadn’t completely engulfed this world yet. Before that, she had to send these world fragments away.

With a thought, without even using any power, the world, as if obeying her command, gently pushed these world fragments through the world bubble barrier, sending them to another world.

For a god, crossing the world bubble barrier was as easy as a thought, a flick of a wrist.

“This… is for the best.”

Luo Xue looked at the departing world fragments. She didn’t dare to appear, afraid that her rule as a god would reach them first.

Finally, before “Ending” completely engulfed this world, Luo Xue sent all the remnants of the Great Thousand Worlds to another world.

But she… couldn’t go with them.

Because gods couldn’t meet.

As “Ending,” she couldn’t set foot in the world of “Malice.”

Two absolute rules couldn’t coexist.

…This was a tragic and helpless parting.

If she had a choice, Luo Xue wouldn’t have become a god. Even without such power, she just wanted to be with them.

But she had no choice.

Because the other path… was absolute “Doomsday.”

And when “Doomsday” arrived, everything would turn to dust.

“This is good, this is… enough.”

In the world of “Ending,” where there was no longer “life” or “death,” the small, silver-haired girl sat cross-legged in the Primordial Chaos, and slowly closed her eyes.

“July 7th, the Minister of Education visited the affiliated primary school association, emphasizing four working principles, especially regarding the education of ‘otherworldly visitors’…”

Ceres listlessly wrote this boring report, and her team leader, Xixi, was also busy writing, her brow furrowed in concentration.

After the incident at the Ground-Based Tower City 1 ruins, Ceres and Xixi had both been transferred to the News Department, a secure job.

Although Ceres found this job incredibly tedious… she had to write about things she wasn’t interested in.

Especially after those planets inexplicably appeared in the sky three months ago, bringing a large number of otherworldly visitors, not to mention the News Department, the entire High Tower civilization had been incredibly busy.

If not for Ling Ling’s timely intervention, they would have already deployed the war fortresses.

And now, the two worlds were merging. Although the cultivators were powerful, due to the thin spiritual energy in this world, even Saints had to conserve their power, experiencing a mortal life.

Luo Huaxin, after arriving, basically started slacking off, Phoenix Venerable and the Phoenix Emperor were also rarely seen, leaving Ling Ling, Su Yiyao, and Bai Zhanying to deal with the merging of the two worlds.

The cultivators from the Great Thousand Worlds knew that after leaving their world, they were rootless, and they had to keep a low profile in this unfamiliar world.

Moreover, they could also sense that the otherworldly demons they feared the most originated from this world, so they didn’t dare to act rashly.

And in the post-apocalyptic world, Ling Ling’s prestige had recently reached its peak. No one dared to oppose her.

“Ring, ring…”

Just then, a sharp ringing sound broke the silence, and Ceres listlessly picked up her communicator.

“Sister Ling…”

“Why do you sound so lifeless?”

“Nothing… it’s just…”

“Heh, seems like work is keeping you busy. Am I disturbing you?”

“Wuwuwu, Sister Ling, I don’t want to work anymore, please continue to support me…”

“That won’t do, what about your dream?”

“Gone…”

“Heh,” after a mocking chuckle, Ling Ling’s voice turned serious. “Come home for dinner tonight. Your Sister Su is back.”

“Wow, she’s back!”

Ceres instantly perked up.

“Seeing you like this, I’m jealous.” Ling Ling chuckled. “Just remember to come back.”

“Okay!”

Ceres’s spirits were lifted, and she hung up the phone and started writing diligently.

Ling Ling, after hanging up, her smile faded, and she sighed softly.

She looked out the window at the incomplete planets hanging low in the sky, world fragments that had escaped from another world.

Three months ago, after a strange storm, everyone who had been waiting for the final battle’s outcome appeared in this world.

While the remnants of the Great Thousand Worlds were still confused, Ling Ling and Su Yiyao were the first to realize where they were.

Because they were familiar with the post-apocalyptic world.

This meant that Sister Xue’er had sent them here. Although they didn’t know how, she must have done so to protect them.

Although Ling Ling and the others had wandered in deep space for over three hundred years, and then spent some time in the Great Thousand Worlds, due to the distorted time flow, only a few days had passed in the post-apocalyptic world, and even Ceres hadn’t noticed their absence.

The work of merging the two worlds and their civilizations was incredibly demanding, and Ling Ling couldn’t leave, but she was worried about Luo Xue.

So was Su Yiyao, and they agreed that Ling Ling would focus on merging the two worlds, while Su Yiyao would search for Luo Xue in deep space, or a way to return.

After three months of searching, there was still no news.

However, the initial animosity between the two had gradually faded.

After all, they were both… abandoned by the same heartless girl, sharing a similar sorrow.

A small figure entered the house, her familiar, beautiful face cold and indifferent, a sight that never failed to amaze Ling Ling.

“Xiao Yao…”

Before Ling Ling could ask, Su Yiyao shook her head and said faintly,

“Nothing, not a single trace.”

“I see…”

A flicker of disappointment flashed through Ling Ling’s eyes, then quickly disappeared.

She had experienced this for three thousand years, she was used to it.

…Such a pitiful hope.

“What do you want for dinner?” Ling Ling asked.

Su Yiyao, originally a cultivator who could abstain from food, had, during this time, developed the habit of eating three meals a day.

She hesitated for a moment, then asked, “A’Ling, what did you and Ah Chou… eat when you were young?”

“Sometimes wild vegetables, sometimes wild game, whatever we could find.” Ling Ling replied, then looked at Su Yiyao with surprise. “Do you want to try?”

Su Yiyao nodded.

During these three months, Ling Ling and Su Yiyao had opened up to each other, sharing their pasts with Luo Xue, their experiences resonating with each other.

Ling Ling learned about Su Yiyao’s unforgettable experiences with Luo Xue, and Su Yiyao understood the deep bond between Ling Ling and Luo Xue from childhood. They finally understood each other, their determination to wait for Luo Xue strengthening.

“That’s not easy to find now. The Ground-Based Tower Project is halfway complete, most of the wasteland has been developed, there aren’t many wild vegetables or game left.” Ling Ling smiled, a hint of reminiscence in her eyes. “But… there is one place.”

The Wastelander settlement where she and Sister Xue’er had lived. For some reason, Ling Ling had excluded this place from the Ground-Based Tower Project’s plans.

Perhaps she was afraid of losing her memories of Sister Xue’er.

“I know.”

Su Yiyao, seeing the look in Ling Ling’s eyes, knew the place she was referring to.

“It seems… I’ll have to disappoint Little Ceres tonight.” A faint smile appeared on Ling Ling’s lips.

“The wild vegetables here only grow after the snow melts a bit. There’s a place further ahead where you can dig for them… heh, I was in charge of gathering wild vegetables back then. Sister Xue’er led the hunting parties. I was clumsy…”

In a dilapidated, ancient settlement, two figures walked side by side. Ling Ling recounted stories as they passed each location, and Su Yiyao listened intently, envy in her eyes.

When she was with Ah Chou, they were always facing danger… They never had such peaceful, happy days.

Thinking of this, Su Yiyao felt a pang of sadness.

“If…” Ling Ling’s voice suddenly rang out, “If Sister Xue’er… never comes back… what should we do?”

Su Yiyao froze, and when she looked up, she saw tears in Ling Ling’s eyes.

“We’ll wait for her.”

“What if… we wait forever?”

“Then we’ll go find her,” Su Yiyao clenched her small fists. “No matter where, no matter which world… we will definitely find her! Find that lying liar!”

Ling Ling, seeing Su Yiyao’s serious expression, chuckled.

Before Su Yiyao could respond, her face red, Ling Ling raised her head and said loudly,

“That’s right, we have to make that heartless woman pay!”

“Heartless!”

“Cold-blooded!”

“A scumbag who only knows how to sweet-talk!”

“A promiscuous flirt!”

“…”

Their emotions escalated, and they even stood up, pointing at the sky, venting their frustrations.

Just then, a weak, helpless voice came from behind them.

“…Stop scolding me, I’m not that bad, am I?”

Hearing this familiar voice, the two froze and turned around stiffly.

A small, silver-haired figure stood not far away, looking the same as when they last parted, except for the slightly helpless expression in her eyes.

“Sister… Xue’er?”

“Ah Chou!”

Su Yiyao and Ling Ling cried out, staring at Luo Xue in disbelief, not sensing any aura from her.

Could this be an illusion?

“It’s me.”

Luo Xue knew what they were thinking, and there was a reason for her lack of aura.

But that wasn’t important.

What was important was that she had returned.

Not just to this world, but to them.

“Long time no see—perhaps, for you, it hasn’t been that long.” Luo Xue stood there, the weariness in her eyes hinting at the countless years she had lived through.

She opened her mouth, wanting to express all her longing, but after a moment of hesitation, she just said softly, “I… missed you, very much.”

Whether it was the countless years of hardship, or the struggle within the absolute rule, Luo Xue had no regrets.

Even in the worst outcome, she had found her last hope.

—This reunion.

It was enough.

-(The End)-

T/N:

I’ll add the author’s notes since mention some points about the story.

[Closing Remarks] Not the Final Story, but a Lingering Regret

First of all, let me celebrate the completion of my third million-word novel with you all~

How should I put it… I have mixed feelings. Although this is my third completed novel, I still feel a sense of incompleteness. Ultimately… I’m not very satisfied with this story.

It’s also… a kind of regret. Initially, I wanted to challenge myself and write a progression fantasy novel, but I haven’t read enough books in that genre, and coupled with some personal reasons, there were some pacing issues in the middle of the story.

After the second dream arc ended and the story returned to the post-apocalyptic world, I reverted to my original writing style.

Most importantly, I caught COVID when the book was first released, and then I got it again around the 500,000-word mark. After that, due to company reasons, I’ve been constantly working overtime, leading to many problems with juggling everything. I’ve been feeling very stressed lately. Maybe it’s because this is my zodiac year, and things haven’t been going well.

However, I can confirm that the ending is indeed what I originally intended to write, it’s just that it felt a bit rushed… or perhaps, quite a bit rushed?

Regarding this, it’s my fault, and I apologize to all my readers.

Next, I’ll answer some questions about the ending. If you haven’t finished reading and are worried about spoilers, please skip this part~

First, yes, it’s still the same world setting. I decided on this from the beginning. I’m a big fan of interconnected stories, so I wrote it this way, it’s a bit self-indulgent.

Second… the otherworldly demons are indeed the remnants of the power of “Luo Yan,” the protagonist from the previous book.(Miss Luo Yan’s Feet Are Buried With Corpses)

And the divine body Luo Xue possesses doesn’t refer to Luo Yan’s physical body, but a remnant of her power.

The post-apocalyptic world is a fragment of the “malicious” universe, a world abandoned long ago, a remnant of the new world’s voyage in the previous book. If you haven’t read the previous book, there’s no need to understand this, it’s just a little Easter egg for my long-time readers, an extra setting for my own amusement.

The otherworldly demons have nothing to do with “Doomsday.” “Doomsday’s” rule is collapse. The collapse of the Great Dao and the shattering of the Great Thousand Worlds were caused by “Doomsday’s” divine disaster.

The reason it didn’t continue collapsing was because “Doomsday” only glanced at it, It didn’t truly descend.

The disasters in the previous two books were caused by the descent of a god. It’s impossible for so many world fragments and people to still be alive and kicking after that, most of them would be dead.

Of course, to erase the influence of “Doomsday’s” gaze, Luo Xue chose to become a god, the first… human-made god, her status equal to that of other gods. And because of the rule that “gods cannot meet each other,” it’s impossible to compare their specific combat power.

The reason why Luo Xue could appear in the post-apocalyptic world was by using a portion of the power from “Malice.” Her appearance was similar to Bai(white) in “White-Haired Loli”(Other author novel), with only an empty shell and will, without any power.

So in the end… it can be considered a happy ending… right?

Speaking of which, I think the previous two books also had happy endings…

Of course, I still feel that this ending is a bit… rushed and incomplete. If you’re interested, I might write some epilogues later.

It’s also to make up for the rushed plot in the later part of the story.

And another thing, Li Guijiao… I haven’t forgotten about her! She really did run away! Ran to a place I don’t even know!

Finally, I beg you all, please don’t scold me anymore…

Oh right, as for the next book, I haven’t decided what to write yet, and since I’m currently busy with work, it will probably be a while before it’s released.

I hope you’ll all continue to support me…

Thank you, everyone, for your companionship.

It seems that the extras or epilogues are still missing since some authors upload them months after finishing the novel or even years later.
