Chapter 41: Do You Remember Now? Baby.
The kiss that had been restrained was resumed on Saturday afternoon.
As Huai Xing’s period and cold ended, this kiss gradually developed into Chu Wantang kissing every inch of her body.
The weather in Jingcheng was unpredictable. After two days of rain, it cleared up again.
No matter how tightly the curtains in the master bedroom were drawn, some of the scorching sunlight would still penetrate through, shining on the fresh begonias on the desk, and the two naked women on the bed.
The curly-haired woman was bent over, pushing open the other’s legs.
She buried her head, then looked up.
To see the other’s out-of-control reaction under her lips and tongue.
This was the first time in all the times they had done it that Chu Wantang had used her mouth to make Huai Xing happy. She thought, this could probably be considered a reward for Huai Xing’s recent performance?
During this illness, Huai Xing was clearly even more dependent on and trusting of her than before. She also understood her own soft-heartedness even more, and once again felt that it was a good decision to keep Huai Xing by her side like this.
So many people in the world keep small pets out of boredom. There was nothing wrong with her doing the same.
Besides, the little pet was even more delicious than she had imagined.
Thinking of this, she once again pushed hard with the tip of her tongue, and then licked as a form of comfort.
She rolled everything into her mouth, her throat moving as she swallowed.
Then she slowly ground it with the surface of her tongue.
Huai Xing’s legs were bent, her feet pressed against the bedsheet, a pillow under her lower back.
Her chin was lifted high, the oxygen in the air very thin at this moment.
Chu Wantang’s hot, moist breath danced on her skin, then spread from that area, flowing into her blood, and finally to her heart, which was beating at an unconsciously faster frequency.
She had never been treated like this before. The feeling was so unfamiliar that she didn’t know what to do.
She closed her eyes tightly and reached out her hand, trying to place it on the top of Chu Wantang’s head to alleviate some of her helplessness.
But the person who was deliberately being mischievous would not let her have her way. Her hands had just stretched out a little when they were caught by Chu Wantang midway.
Chu Wantang took a moment to look up, looking at the rise and fall of her abdomen. Her gaze moved up, past her fair skin, and landed on her flushed cheeks.
She couldn’t help but ask with a smile, “What? When you treated me like this before, didn’t you think that you would have this day too?”
“…” Huai Xing couldn’t give any answer, only able to constantly swallow air.
Chu Wantang lowered her eyes, and everything fell into her sight. She said, as if praising, “So much, Xingxing…”
Hearing this, Huai Xing’s ears turned bright red.
She really wanted to close her legs, not to let anyone see.
But before she could even take a breath, the soft tongue pressed against her again, and her lips also pursed against her, savoring her.
Leaving her with nowhere to hide.
The force of their intertwined fingers increased a little, the amplitude of her abdomen larger, and Huai Xing’s breathing also became much heavier.
…
Remembering that Huai Xing had just recovered from her illness, Chu Wantang didn’t keep doing these “unspeakable” things with her.
After about an hour of back and forth, it was over.
The trash can was filled with used wet wipes and tissues, with the finger cot packaging hidden underneath.
Huai Xing snuggled in Chu Wantang’s arms, lifted her head slightly, and they kissed slowly to finish.
It was also at this moment that she had time to think about other things.
Was this the physical feedback? In Chu Wantang’s eyes, was her love in exchange for this really not a loss at all?
If she had known the truth before, she might have really thought so. Continuing with this identity of sisters in public and friends with benefits in private wasn’t so bad, because she didn’t want to break off her relationship with Chu Wantang. She had willingly fallen into the trap that Chu Wantang had unintentionally woven.
But it turned out that the unintentional was intentional.
As if sensing her distraction, Chu Wantang bit her soft tongue.
The force was not light, but not heavy either, just enough to make her focus on the kiss. She twitched her lips in self-mockery, tightened her arms around Chu Wantang’s neck, and then deepened the kiss in a fawning manner, lest Chu Wantang discover anything.
When their lips touched the air again, Huai Xing took the initiative to speak, looking up at Chu Wantang’s beautiful profile and asking, “I was just thinking, is Teacher Chu coming to pick me up tonight?”
Chu Wantang stroked her waistline, very pleased that her distraction was because she was thinking of her. She asked back in a slow voice, “Isn’t that auntie taking you back?”
Lu Xuerong was staying in Jingcheng until the end of the month. Huai Xing had to see her again before she left, and the time was tonight, at the same restaurant as last time.
“The nature of her taking me back and you picking me up is different,” Huai Xing said, burying her face in Chu Wantang’s shoulder and neck, her breath spraying on it. She had just had sex not long ago, and her strength had not yet fully recovered, so her voice was a little soft.
Chu Wantang pulled her down, pulled up the comforter to cover her, and closed her eyes. “Take a good nap. I’ll take you there and come back with you.”
“Hmm?” You’re coming with me?
“Su Cheng’s studio is nearby. I’m going to borrow her space,” Chu Wantang said, dragging out the sound. “Mm, at this time, some cute, soon-to-be-twenty-two-year-old Huai might ask, ‘Jiejie, what are you going to do at Sister Su Cheng’s studio…'”
Hearing her say this, Huai Xing couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s not hard to guess, okay?”
“As long as you know,” Chu Wantang said, wanting to kiss the person beside her again, but she was pulled back by reason in the next second.
Don’t get addicted, she warned herself.
But that night, on the way to Su Cheng’s studio after dropping Huai Xing off at the restaurant, she looked at the empty passenger seat while waiting at a red light and felt a little empty in her heart.
On second thought, her reaction was normal. She and Huai Xing had such a harmonious life in bed. It was understandable that she would have such withdrawal symptoms. Besides, compared to her little bit of emptiness, Huai Xing, as the one who truly liked her, should be having a harder time, right?
Her mood instantly lightened a lot. When she arrived at Su Cheng’s studio, she was seen through at a glance.
Su Cheng looked at her obvious smile and pinched the bridge of her nose. “Get your own water. I’m still struggling with the five million.”
“Struggle on.”
Chu Wantang came to the water dispenser. She watched the water level rise bit by bit and suddenly remembered. “Su Cheng, I have an idea. Give me your opinion.”
“What idea?”
“My mom has a violin…” When the water level was almost at the top, Chu Wantang pressed a button and lazily asked the question behind it. “Should I give it to Xiao Xing on her birthday as another surprise?”
Su Cheng’s motion of pinching the bridge of her nose paused. She widened her eyes and asked, “Are you talking about the violin that’s now worth over three million?”
If a violin is well-maintained, it can last for several hundred years.
Chu Lingyi’s violin was from a famous Italian luthier. It was expensive when she bought it, and now, after so many years, the price was even higher. There were countless rich people online who were willing to pay a high price for this authentic piece, but Chu Wantang had no intention of selling it.
“Mm, I can’t play it anyway.”
“Give it to me. That way, the problem I’m facing now will be solved, and you’ll have helped a friend. How about it?”
Chu Wantang sat down on the sofa, crossed her legs, and swirled the glass, as if it were filled with red wine.
Hearing her friend’s answer, she revealed a very apologetic smile. “Not good.” She became a little more serious. “Ms. Chu wouldn’t agree to me selling her violin.”
As she said this, she automatically skipped over the fact that Chu Lingyi would definitely not agree to her bullying Huai Xing. And how could it be considered bullying? Hadn’t her thoughts already changed?
“But she would agree to you giving it to someone?” Su Cheng glanced around and said the keyword unceremoniously. “No, giving it to a little pet?”
Hearing this, Chu Wantang lifted her eyelids and looked at the friend opposite her, her expression a little cold.
Su Cheng: “Fine, I get it. Only you can say that. We can’t.” She stood up for Huai Xing, sighing as she stood up. “If Xiao Xing finds out later, I’ll see what you do.”
“She won’t find out,” Chu Wantang emphasized again. “And you two shouldn’t think about this, otherwise, I’m afraid you’ll let it slip when you see her.”
“Shouldn’t you be the one thinking less about it? The one most likely to let it slip is not me and Yiyi. Don’t think about it all day and then accidentally say it in your sleep and be overheard. Also, whether you want to give her that violin out of guilt or because you really want to surprise her, you know best.”
Chu Wantang’s temples were throbbing again. She stared at the floating water in her glass, her lips pressed together tightly.
After Su Cheng finished speaking, she came to the desk and, seeing her silent appearance, stopped her unceremonious words.
“Aren’t you going to work on your dress, Director Chu?”
“Thank you for the reminder, Boss Su,” she said, it was unclear which sentence she was responding to.
On the other side, in a not-so-distant restaurant private room, it was a bit quiet. The sound of the performance in the outer hall flowed in bit by bit.
Lu Xuerong clearly felt that Huai Xing’s state was different from last time, but she didn’t say it at the beginning. Instead, she chatted with Huai Xing about what she had experienced in Jingcheng in the past week or so.
“It’s been too long since I’ve been back,” Lu Xuerong said, the wrinkles at the corners of her eyes deepening a little. “Jingcheng has changed a lot, and not a lot.”
Huai Xing followed up and asked, “Then what do you think is the biggest change, Auntie Lu?”
“Zhengda,” Lu Xuerong said with a warm smile and then asked, “Have you been to see it?”
Huai Xing nodded. “I saw it two years ago. It’s near our school.” She pointed to her eyes and said with a smile, “I went to see her alma mater from my mother’s perspective, but I don’t know what Zhengda was like in the past.”
Lu Xuerong recalled for a moment and slowly started to talk about the changes from the teaching building to the teaching environment, as well as the newly built dormitories, and so on.
As they chatted, they inevitably mentioned Huai Zhao. “Your mother was very popular at school back then. She was beautiful, righteous, and chivalrous. People would greet her wherever she went, and there were many who admired her.”
“Including my father?” Huai Xing asked very seriously.
Lu Xuerong was stunned for a moment. She looked at the junior who did not resemble Huai Zhao opposite her, pondered for a long while, and still did not make the decision to tell the truth on behalf of Huai Zhao. “No.”
Huai Xing had no obsession with her father and had just asked casually. She was silent for two seconds and then took the initiative to bring up the purpose of their meeting tonight. “Auntie Lu, I’ve seriously considered what you told me last time.”
She had been thinking about this matter in her free time these past few days.
Where could she go after leaving Chu Wantang? First of all, she would not consider Jingcheng. Although Jingcheng was big, the probability of running into Chu Wantang again was not zero.
Then go back to Yuncheng to find the Wen family? Wen Ruyu would definitely agree and would be very welcoming. But if Chu Wantang suddenly remembered her little pet, wouldn’t it be not so difficult to find her?
“Mm,” Lu Xuerong nodded and said patiently, “Go on.”
“I’ll go to Haicheng with you,” Huai Xing said, feeling very relieved in her heart. She smiled. “My mother also resolutely went to Yuncheng from Jingcheng back then. I think I should be like her, not lacking the courage to face a new environment, and not afraid of the unknown challenges of the future.”
Lu Xuerong was not surprised by this answer. She didn’t ask what had happened, only asking, “When will you come?”
“After I’ve handled things here,” she said. She was not planning to leave with a bang, but quietly, as if she had never been here.
“I’ll wait for you,” Lu Xuerong said with a chosen smile. “Contact me anytime.”
…
At nine o’clock, Huai Xing got into Chu Wantang’s passenger seat.
Her eyes were sparkling, and she asked with great curiosity, “How’s Jiejie’s progress tonight?”
Chu Wantang looked at her eager appearance and chuckled. “Don’t worry. You’ll definitely be able to wear it on your birthday.” After driving onto the main road, she asked slowly, “Did you talk about anything with this auntie tonight?”
“We talked about where she’s been in Jingcheng these past few days,” Huai Xing said with some regret. “Unfortunately, she’s going back to Xuecheng in a while.”
“Xuecheng?” Chu Wantang raised an eyebrow. She had seen Lu Xuerong opposite the law firm before and had thought she was still in Yuncheng. “She’s in Xuecheng now?”
Huai Xing, by the dim light of the street lamps, a hint of coolness spread across her lips. “Yes. She also invited me to Xuecheng to play. I said I’ll go with you when I have a short holiday.”
Hearing this, Chu Wantang nodded. “Okay.”
“Jiejie…” Huai Xing said again at this moment.
“Hmm?”
“Am I being too clingy recently?” Huai Xing looked out the window, her tone troubled.
Chu Wantang glanced at her and couldn’t help but laugh. “I also asked you this question in April.”
Huai Xing turned her head to look at her, as if puzzled. “Hmm?”
“My answer is the same as yours, Xiao Xing.”
-Not clingy enough.
As soon as she finished speaking, she parked the car on the side of the road.
Then she unbuckled her seatbelt with a “click,” leaned over, pinched Huai Xing’s chin, and in Huai Xing’s somewhat surprised eyes, planted a kiss on the corner of the girl’s sweet lips.
“It’s okay, but you can only be clingy to me, not to others.”
She moved back a little, her fingertips caressing Huai Xing’s lips, feeling the soft sensation on her fingertips. Her brows lifted slightly, and a new form of address popped out. “Do you remember now? Baby.”
