Chapter 36 p1
When they returned to the hotel, the sky was beginning to brighten. There were still four hours until they had to meet up at 9:30, enough time for a good sleep.
Qin Cong’an hadn’t slept for very long just now and was a little sleepy. After a shower, she planned to go to bed. Wearing a loose, oversized T-shirt, she came out and saw Xu Ling already waiting for her on her bed, and felt a sense of peace.
As soon as she got into bed, Xu Ling automatically pressed herself against her, burying her face in her chest. She kissed her through her clothes for a while, then lifted her shirt and kissed her underneath.
At first, Qin Cong’an didn’t like having someone sleep with their face buried in her chest. Not only was the position awkward, but this person would also lick and bite from time to time. But now, she seemed to have gotten used to it. If she didn’t lick or bite, it would feel like something was missing.
“Xu Ling,” Qin Cong’an called out softly.
“Hmm?”
Sensing that Xu Ling was about to poke her head out to see why she was calling her, Qin Cong’an pressed the back of her head, not letting her move. Qin Cong’an had no particular reason for calling her; she just wanted to say her name, didn’t want her to stop.
Qin Cong’an wanted to sleep, but Xu Ling seemed very hungry, rolling and sucking and biting, making her feel as if ants were crawling under her skin, her whole body itching.
She felt a little uncomfortable and clamped her legs around her, but Xu Ling paid her no mind and continued to eat.
Xu Ling seemed to have had her fill. She finally emerged from under her shirt, but then she nuzzled her way down, the tip of her pink tongue brushing over her lower abdomen as she looked up at her, her eyes asking a question.
Qin Cong-an nodded. How could she resist such an expression?
Compared to Xu Ling’s previous eagerness, today was more like a slow, deliberate seduction. Qin Cong’an saw a different side of her, but she liked all of them. It was just a little torturous. She just wouldn’t kiss her where it itched the most.
When Qin Cong’an took the initiative to move closer, Xu Ling would turn her head away, only glancing up at her, her eyes tinged with desire, but more so with the intention of teasing her.
She reached out her hand, but it was swatted away by Xu Ling. She wouldn’t touch her, and she wouldn’t let Qin Cong’an touch her either.
Had she offended her in some way? Qin Cong’an wondered, but this feeling wasn’t so bad either. If she wanted to play, then let her play. Besides, how long could she keep it up?
Qin Cong’an had underestimated her. Today, it was as if Xu Ling was deliberately tormenting her. Or perhaps it hadn’t been that long, and it was just that she couldn’t take it anymore.
Qin Cong’an knew that Xu Ling wasn’t weak. The fact that she could be pinned down on the bed and at her mercy was because she was willingly cooperating. At this moment, Xu Ling was a little different. Qin Cong’an knew that today, she might not cooperate.
“Xu Ling…” Qin Cong’an also took a different approach than usual, calling her name softly. “Let me lick you, okay?”
Xu Ling looked up at her, as if stunned for a moment, then seemed about to smile, but put on a serious expression instead. “Haven’t I been licking you? Where do you want me to lick?”
“Here.”
“Oh… wait. I don’t want to right now.”
“Please,” Qin Cong’an said, grabbing Xu Ling’s wrist. “Please?”
Xu Ling seemed to be enjoying her little game. She was clearly wavering. Qin Cong’an sat up, gently pulled her over, had her lie down, and sat on her face.
Qin Cong’an held her head and called her again, “Good baby.”
Xu Ling finally became obedient, licking the melted ice cream. Her tongue was too hot, and the ice cream melted too quickly. She tried to swallow it down, but it still flowed all over her mouth.
In the midst of her trembling, Qin Cong’an had a moment of weakness. Her legs were too weak to support her, and she fell down completely, only to be caught by Xu Ling’s hand from behind.
Qin Cong’an felt that Xu Ling was laughing at her. It’s really good with me, isn’t it? She didn’t speak, but her eyes were full of this meaning. Qin Cong’an lay down and answered in her ear, “Mhm, it’s so comfortable. I like you.”
Feeling Xu Ling stiffen for a moment, Qin Cong’an reached out and caressed her beautiful brow bone, then held her face and lowered her head to kiss her.
“Why are you crying again?” Qin Cong’an wiped away the tears that had seeped out. “Is a kiss that good?”
Xu Ling’s wet eyes looked at her, her eyes red, the tip of her nose also starting to turn red. She choked out an “mhm.”
She was also saying she liked her. Qin Cong’an hugged her tightly, wanting to pack her in a suitcase and take her away tomorrow.
The sky was completely bright.
The blackout curtains were very good, and no annoying sunlight came in to wake them up. But Qin Cong’an didn’t know that Xu Ling had woken up a short while later and had been watching her the whole time.
Wrap day.
Chang Ning was a meticulous planner, and every shoot was carefully prepared without any mistakes. There wasn’t much to reshoot. It was a relaxed day.
Liang He was slacking off, chatting with people from various departments, saying things like they should work together again in the future, building connections.
With the cross-river bridge as a backdrop, the behind-the-scenes photographer interviewed the martial arts instructor, Director Chang, and Director Liang, and then went to interview Xu Ling alone first.
Qin Cong’an saw this, took a small fan, and walked over, about to sit on the edge of the flower bed. As soon as she sat down, she was burned by the scorching hot tiles and immediately stood up again.
Xu Ling laughed out loud. “Are you starting to take the comedy route on the last day?”
She got up and brought over an ice pack, placing it next to her.
“I thought it wouldn’t be so hot in the shade.” Qin Cong’an sat down, still a little uncomfortable. She scooted forward and said, “And now it feels too cold.”
“You might as well sit on my lap,” Xu Ling said, patting her thigh.
Qin Cong’an stood up to sit over, but Xu Ling said, “You’re really going to sit?” and pushed her away. Qin Cong’an sat back down on the ice pack.
Both of them were wearing sunglasses, but the photographer behind the camera felt like they were exchanging glances. He was also startled when they almost ended up on her lap.
The photographer cleared his throat. “Teacher Xu, could you answer a question? What are your thoughts on these five months? And Teacher Qin, if you could also answer later.”
She had just asked this question when she was interrupted by Qin Cong’an suddenly entering the frame.
Xu Ling glanced at Qin Cong’an and said, “It just feels like it went by so fast, like in the blink of an eye. What about you, Teacher Qin?”
Qin Cong’an: “Mhm, I think so too.”
Photographer: “But this is Teacher Xu’s first time filming so many action scenes. It must have been very tiring.”
“Of course it was tiring. Sometimes I would dream about the next move. But a good night’s sleep would fix it,” Xu Ling said. “What about you, Teacher Qin?”
Qin Cong’an: “I agree.”
Photographer: “Have there been times when you felt particularly stressed, and even sleep couldn’t help?”
“There were, but now that it’s over, it doesn’t feel like a big deal anymore,” Xu Ling said, then asked again, “What about you, Teacher Qin? Do you think so too?”
Qin Cong’an nodded. “Yes.”
“Okay, don’t ask her anymore. She’ll just follow what I say,” Xu Ling said to the camera, crossing her legs and flicking her ponytail behind her. “Any other questions?”
The photographer asked a few more questions about how they viewed the design of the fight scenes, how they viewed Director Chang, and so on, then suddenly asked, “Teacher Qin, is Teacher Xu’s hair fun to play with?”
Qin Cong’an let go of her hand and replied calmly, “What?”
The photographer was instantly intimidated by her aura and didn’t dare to ask anymore, moving on to the next question. “What are your thoughts on each other?”
“Of course, it’s…” Xu Ling turned to look at Qin Cong’an. “Gratitude. I’m just a newcomer, and my senior helped me a lot. She would help me when I couldn’t find my state, remind me when I forgot my blocking, and care for me when I got injured. I can say that without my senior’s support, these five months would have been very difficult.”
“It was mutual,” Qin Cong’an said in a low voice. “Thank you for making Jian Yu come to life.”
