Chapter 15:
No matter how much she wanted to give up, Li An had to get up. She couldn’t just lie there forever.
As she stood up, she stole a glance at Ji Yulin. Seeing no blame on her face, she boldly took two steps forward. Then, as if throwing caution to the wind, she directly stuffed a tentacle into Ji Yulin’s mouth.
The overly rough action naturally elicited a whimpering sound. Her teeth grazed the tentacle, biting down on the chubby tip.
The pressure wasn’t hard, more like a silent tease, a tacit permission for Li An to do so.
But the creature, caught in embarrassment and panic, didn’t understand. She just pushed further in.
Ji Yulin was forced to tilt her head back. The tear that had welled up in the corner of her eye finally slid down her cheek.
Li An didn’t dare to look closely, nor did she have the energy to. Her attention was divided by her other tentacles.
Since that night, Li An had finally learned how to soothe her own tentacles. Whenever she rested, she would curl up in her jar and repeatedly assure them that they would have many, many jars in the future. Only then did these tentacles settle down and not cause Li An too much trouble.
Because of this, Li An had forgotten how difficult they could be. Until now, with a tentacle probing into Ji Yulin’s mouth, that long-forgotten childish voice sounded again.
“Go in,”
“Want, want to go in together…”
“Want,”
The restless tentacles moved about, and the suckers contracted and expanded, like a kitten kneading, leaving red marks on her long, slender neck.
The voice in her heart was both craving and complaining, full of grievance.
Having tasted it once, they had become insatiable, endlessly reminiscing about that scorching, narrow space, the feeling of being enveloped in moist softness.
“Want, go in.”
“Together, don’t want to be left outside.”
Li An tried her best to control them but couldn’t suppress their desire. She wanted to retreat, but Ji Yulin’s lips held her fast, making it impossible to escape.
Ji Yulin drank elegantly, without the urgency she had shown when she was feverish and unconscious. The tip of her tongue hooked the short tentacle, slowly sipping the water into her mouth.
“Slow, slow down.”
Sometimes, when she fed her too quickly, Ji Yulin would mumble a protest.
“Too fast,” she tried to block the ever-advancing tentacle with the tip of her tongue.
“Can’t swallow, slow down,”
Her muffled voice was hoarse and low, not at all sounding like it had been moistened by water, and held no trace of blame.
Perhaps Li An was being too forceful. A pink flush spread around Ji Yulin’s eyes. Tears fell and then welled up again, hanging precariously at the corners of her eyes, making her look strangely vulnerable. Another small, round mark was left by a tentacle on her lips.
Li An’s mind was in a mess. On one hand, she had to restrain the tentacle in her mouth, telling it not to push its luck and probe any deeper. On the other hand, she had to hold back her other tentacles, not allowing them to move about.
The one making the most fuss was the tentacle that had been severed before. Li An had doted on it because of its injury, usually holding it up or carrying it. Now, it had developed a bit of a spoiled and domineering streak. It defied Li An’s control and climbed upward. After leaving a sucker mark on her collarbone, it pressed against her cheek.
“Want, together.”
“Cuddle…”
“Want it all, want it.”
The whimpering was childish yet stubborn, like a months-old baby, using all its limbs to crawl toward a milk bottle, both pitiful and aggrieved.
Fortunately, there wasn’t much water in the tentacles, and it was finished in a few sips.
Li An immediately breathed a sigh of relief and was about to pull it out, but the tentacle inside was reluctant. Not only did it disobey her command, but it also latched onto the tip of Ji Yulin’s tongue.
“Not leaving.”
The rebellious tentacle conveyed a strong sense of rejection. The suckers tightened, as if wanting to merge with the inside.
“Mmph,” Ji Yulin let out a muffled sound. The water that hadn’t gone down her throat flowed from the corners of her slightly parted lips, dripping onto the other tentacles.
This was like an accelerant, completely igniting the desire of the other tentacles. They became restless, all wanting to follow the example of the severed tentacle and climb upward.
“Want, want!”
“Want to go in together, together.”
“Want! To go in!”
The tentacles ground against the delicate skin. The collar of the shirt was pulled wider and wider, revealing her smooth shoulders and neck.
With a loud, mournful cry from outside the ship, the vessel suddenly tilted sharply to the left.
Amidst the sound of crashing waves, the lights went out. The tentacle standing on her collarbone unconsciously took a step back, landing directly in the softness.
The surroundings were plunged into darkness. Li An could no longer see the other woman clearly, but her other senses became sharper.
For example, Ji Yulin’s rapid breathing, the faint sound of the tentacle touching her tongue, and the tentacles that were becoming more and more audacious.
It’s okay, it’s okay, the lights are out anyway.
Since it’s already like this, misplacing one or two won’t be noticed.
Li An tried to find an excuse for herself, and the other tentacles grew even more restless.
After one tentacle finished, another probed in.
The former wailed that it wasn’t enough, the latter let out a sigh of comfort, and the remaining tentacles grew even more agitated.
The severed tentacle hooked her cheek, forcing Ji Yulin to tilt her head back even further, pressing against the wall. The previously filled mouth now had a slight gap, and the other tentacles tried to squeeze in, fighting over who would go first.
Don’t, don’t mess around.
Stop.
Li An struggled to stop them, trying to use one tentacle to hold down another, but the sounds of dissatisfaction grew louder.
“Last time, it was okay…”
A resentful mumble, a sob that was about to turn into tears.
“It was okay last time, so it should be okay this time too.”
Li An wanted to explain but didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t very well say that last time, she had only dared to let her tentacles probe in again and again because Ji Yulin was unconscious, could she?
But even this thought was known to the tentacles, and the absurd idea of waiting until Ji Yulin was asleep popped up.
No, you can’t.
You can’t do that.
The tentacle resting on the soft spot hooked the foreign object, unconsciously grinding against it. Ji Yulin let out a low hum.
It finally quieted down a bit outside. The anxious leader was shouting commands, wanting to slaughter all the remaining sea beasts.
The electricity crackled, and then with a beep, the dim lights suddenly came on.
The little octopus was forced to shut her eyes by the blinding light. Before she could recover, she gave a hard pull, yanking out all the tentacles, regardless of which one it was.
“Mmph,” a low, muffled sound followed.
Li An didn’t dare to open her eyes. Feeling that she had done something wrong, she shrank her eight tentacles and her round head, completely turning into a bright red glass ball. Unable to face the situation, and not knowing how to, she simply played dead.
However, the expected scolding never came. All she heard was Ji Yulin’s rapid breathing, again and again, mixing with the sound of the waves, gradually becoming calmer.
After a few minutes, Ji Yulin finally spoke.
Before the words could form, only a tuneless sound escaped, making the little octopus tremble.
Ji Yulin fell silent for a moment, then chuckled, “What are you doing hiding on my chest?”
Before Li An could react, she asked with a puzzled expression, “Do they want to feed me water too?”
“They look like they’re in a hurry to get in.”
Feeling the other woman’s gaze on her tentacles, Li An, who was already curled into a ball, couldn’t respond. She just silently curled up even tighter, wishing she could strangle herself with her own tentacles.
But the lowered gaze was still on her. Her sensitive skin felt as if it had been set on fire, and she became a sizzling octopus again.
Oh, no, it should be takoyaki.
Because she was now curled up into a bright red octopus ball.
“Why aren’t you talking to me anymore?” the culprit asked, feigning ignorance, her expression filled with concern.
The little octopus didn’t really want to answer. She silently raised a tentacle and hugged her head.
But the other person misinterpreted it and said with feigned urgency, “What’s wrong, does your head hurt?”
“Did you hit it just now?”
Even if it hurt, it should have hurt the moment she hit it. How could it be delayed until now?
She was clearly doing it on purpose.
But Ji Yulin’s previous serious and cold image was deeply ingrained in the octopus’s mind. Coupled with her current muddle-headedness, she didn’t feel anything was wrong at all and was even afraid that Ji Yulin would worry because of the misunderstanding.
She hastily put down her tentacles, pressed them against Ji Yulin, and looked up to explain in a hurry, It doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t hurt.
Human, little octopus doesn’t hurt at all.
Hearing this, Ji Yulin’s tense expression seemed to relax a little. She asked again, “Then what’s wrong?”
Then what’s wrong… what’s wrong…
The little octopus was a bit dazed. She wanted to say something but couldn’t get it out. Her tentacles were clenched tightly.
She looked like a good child being bullied by a bad person.
Even so, she still managed to squeeze out, Human, I’m fine.
Really fine, really.
When she looked up, her pair of azure eyes were clean and clear, like glass beads, filled with the grievance of being bullied.
Human, little octopus is really fine.
A smile flashed in her eyes, and then Ji Yulin asked with a puzzled expression, “What, was I wrong?”
“Did they not want to come in?”
