Reina smiled, mocking his slow realization.
Phantom Dragon’s veins bulged, and he clenched his fists.
“Very well, then let me see if you truly are her!”
He revealed his left hand, which was adorned with five gold rings, each inlaid with a different gem.

Suddenly, a dazzling golden light erupted.
Reina braced herself, knowing that Phantom Dragon was about to use the Goddess’s Treasures again.
Suddenly, the football field-sized space rapidly expanded, instantly becoming as vast as a city. Above them, a real sun shone down on the mountains, rivers, and earth.
This was [Sanctuary], which could create a small, real world. It was usually used as a storage space, but now it was used to expand the battlefield, allowing for large-scale magic deployment.
As expected, eight golden pillars rose from the ground around Reina.
Hundreds of chains suddenly shot out from each pillar, forming a golden net.
Reina waved her hand lightly, and the residual force easily shattered the chains.
But soon, endless chains emerged from the golden pillars, surging towards Reina like a furious tide.
Reina leaned forward, her waist, tail, and legs bending into a graceful arc, spreading her dragon wings and opening her mouth.

Her dragon breath, which should have been purple flames, combined with the light magic [Blazing Sunfire], transformed into a rose-gold fireball that gathered on Reina’s pink tongue. After compressing to its limit, it erupted with a sharp sound.

The laser-like breath seemed to possess light attributes, resonating with the golden pillars. Reina spun her body, the laser sweeping in a circle, destroying all the pillars.
Reina suddenly felt like Godzilla.

Phantom Dragon waved his hand, his entire body shimmering with light attribute magic. Then, a golden light pierced through the clouds.
A massive golden sword, as large as a warship, descended from the clear sky.
The entire world was dyed gold.

Reina unleashed her dragon breath again, but this time, it was practically useless.
Seeing the opportunity, Phantom Dragon flew high into the sky and extended his right hand—all his fingers were adorned with rings containing Goddess’s Treasures.

Legend had it that the Goddess of Light had once destroyed a demon territory with a single strike.
It was with this artifact.
Among the Goddess of Light’s treasures, it was the only offensive weapon.

Reina no longer concealed her aura. Untainted light magic swirled around her like a raging tide, like a sunset glow, or a purple-red nebula.
Then, the light magic surged forward, like a giant hand, grabbing the [Judgment Blade] and stopping its descent!
“This is?!”
Then, the bottom of the golden Judgment Blade began to be gradually corrupted by darkness, crimson veins spreading through the holy blade like a virus. The immense light was assimilated by the darkness, flowing along with more darkness into Reina’s body.
When the sword was completely devoured, a terrifying bluish-purple aura erupted from Reina’s body.
The corrupted light magic swallowed the ground like a tide, the entire sky dyed in this darkness, even the sun dimming.
Then, in Reina’s right hand, amidst the dark tide, appeared the [Judgment Blade], covered in crimson veins!
“It’s time to return this to its rightful owner,” Reina licked her lips.
Phantom Dragon frowned.
“Azure Scale, what do you want? Will you only be satisfied after devouring the entire world?!”
Reina was still savoring the pleasure of her Light level increasing.
Level 45.
From level 40 to 45, which meant from level 113 to 118 overall.
More importantly, [Judgment Blade] was now permanently etched into Reina’s being as an innate skill.

Unlike Calysia’s Devour, Reina’s Devour couldn’t directly absorb the power of demons, but instead absorbed these “homeless” Goddess’s Treasures.

Suddenly, Phantom Dragon’s entire body erupted in golden light.

Phantom Dragon shouted.
But this seemingly evenly matched struggle didn’t continue.
Just then, the sky shattered like glass.
“Roar—”
A long dragon roar echoed like thunder, and an overwhelming amount of magic power condensed into a gravity black hole above Phantom Dragon’s head, instantly sucking in all the golden power.
Phantom Dragon was momentarily filled with despair, then he burst into laughter.
“Azure Scale, siding with the Dragon King will only lead to a bad ending!”
“You’ll only end up dead!”
“Just like me, hahaha…”
“She can’t possibly side with you!”
“Boom—!”
A purple dragon breath swallowed his figure.
Calysia stood before him, her hand piercing through his body, her gaze icy and piercing, making even Reina, hundreds of meters away, tremble.
Reina pulled out her hand, not a single drop of blood staining her.
“Cough, cough…”
“Calysia, are… are you satisfied?”
“Your self-deceiving charade will eventually be discovered by Azure Scale!”
“And then, will you kill her, just like me?”
Phantom Dragon spat out a mouthful of blood and roared, as if speaking directly to Reina.
But Calysia smiled faintly, unfazed by Phantom Dragon’s words.
“You’re wrong, Phantom Dragon.”
“I will never betray Reina, just as she will always be on my side.”
Phantom Dragon wanted to continue, mocking this self-deceiving creature.
But he suddenly realized something.
He wanted to share his shocking discovery, like a dying struggle to reveal this astonishing truth to the world before his death, but he could only cough up blood.
Before his consciousness completely faded, he used his finger to scrawl a few words on the ground:
“The Goddess of Light has awakened.”
