Chapter 33: A Bit Bossy
So, the group didn’t want to delay too much and wanted to reach Starshine City as soon as possible.
Zhang Can’er looked at the anxious group, her heart also a bit anxious. They were so close, yet something like this had happened.
This was the highest point of this road. Looking down, they could see the entire view of Starfall Village.

The group all nodded obediently and leaned against the car, trying to get sleepy.
Wan Feng didn’t arrange for any shifts to keep watch. She silently took on this task.
Zhang Can’er watched her walk to the side and followed her. “Why aren’t you going to sleep?”
Wan Feng glanced at her. “I can’t sleep. You go to sleep. I’ll keep watch.”
“You’re human too. Plus, we have to travel tomorrow, not drive. How can you have the energy if you don’t sleep all night? You go to sleep first. I’ll take the first half of the night,” Zhang Can’er said softly.
Wan Feng shook her head. Just as she was about to speak, Zhang Can’er covered her mouth. A faint medicinal fragrance wafted into her nose, and for a moment, she was a bit dazed.
“Don’t argue with me. Go to sleep.”
Zhang Can’er pushed her to the side of the car, pressed her down to sit, and covered her with a piece of clothing.

Wan Feng looked at the somewhat bossy Zhang Can’er and let out a helpless, soft laugh. “Okay.”

She slept until dawn. Wan Feng opened her eyes, remembering that she still had to keep watch. But the sky was already bright. What was there to watch?

It took the group two hours to come down from the mountain. After passing through the forest and reaching the vicinity of the main road, they heard the long-lost roars.

Because Starfall Village was close to Starshine City, it was relatively wealthy, at least much better than Phantom Star Village.
This village had a lot of farmland and a large population, so it was one of the main sources of rice for Starshine City.
The group arrived at a patch of grass by the side of the road. Looking at the houses not far ahead, they were all a bit surprised.
