Chapter 89: Shoot!
At Tang Ze’s words, the golden bullet fell onto the ceramic tile, the clear clatter echoing in everyone’s hearts.
Not only were the men dumbfounded, but the women were also stunned. Was this the power of a vampire? So exaggerated that he could control a bullet in mid-air?
“You’re the richest man in Hua’an City, yet you resort to such despicable acts. I’m truly disappointed. Sincerity really can’t be exchanged for sincerity.”
Tang Ze sighed. He had thought the law of the apocalypse might have its flaws, but it seemed he was wrong. He had to continue to be a man without emotions.
Zuo Zhixian looked at Tang Ze in disbelief, his mind still reeling. Why wasn’t he dead? Had he been hallucinating?
A man near the door finally snapped out of it and ran outside.
Two gunshots.
The man was shot in both legs. Ye Qingyi’s cold voice was as chilling as the weather. “Didn’t you want to stay here? Where are you going? Did I say you could leave?”
The men looked at the gun in her hand, as if struck by lightning. She had a gun too!
“Dad, what are you waiting for? Shoot!”
Zuo Yong roared.
Zuo Zhixian’s thoughts finally returned. He tried to pull the trigger, but his finger wouldn’t obey. He couldn’t press it down.
Tang Ze reached out and easily took the golden Desert Eagle from his hand. “As expected of a golden Desert Eagle, it has some weight.”
“Dad, what are you…!”
“Mr. Zuo! What are you doing?!”
The men exclaimed in disbelief. He had let him take the gun?!
Zuo Zhixian turned and roared, “I don’t know!”
Tang Ze, holding the golden Desert Eagle, walked over to Zuo Yong, who looked at him in terror, his pants slowly getting wet.
Tang Ze simply took his pack of cigarettes from Zuo Yong’s down jacket. “You dare to steal my cigarettes? Pissing your pants won’t save you now.”
Hearing his words, Zuo Yong felt a surge of shame and anger. As Tang Ze turned away, he swung the Kukri knife.
Bang!
“Ah!”
The Kukri clattered to the floor. Zuo Yong clutched his bleeding right hand, looking at Sun Ting in panic, the gun in her hand still smoking.
They had two guns!
Had they just tried to rob a den of bandits?
These women looked so weak and fragile, but they were so skilled with guns. Their previous weakness had been an act.
“You bitch! You shot me!”
Zuo Yong yelled, seemingly unaware of his situation.
Sun Ting had wanted to do this for a long time. She slowly walked over to him with her pistol. “Kneel.”
“I’d rather die!”
Bang!
“Son!!!”
Zuo Zhixian screamed.
Zuo Yong’s eyes widened, a red dot appearing on his forehead, the back of his head blown open. He never thought this woman would actually dare to shoot!
With a look of unwillingness, he collapsed. His consciousness hadn’t completely faded, and he saw Sun Ting’s gun aimed at his head again.
“You’re not worthy of taking off my clothes.”
Bang, bang, bang, bang…
She emptied the magazine into his head, showing just how angry she was.
Li Linger, seeing this, felt her stomach churn. Tang Ze said calmly, “Hold it in.”
Hearing his cold words, she saw a different Tang Ze and suppressed the urge to vomit.
“I’ll say it again. Kneel!”
Sun Ting scanned the other men. Their greed was gone, replaced by terror. Mr. Zuo’s son had been brutally shot in the head. This woman was ruthless, a venomous snake!
Their thoughts were all the same, and their knees were honest. They all dropped their knives and knelt.
Xi Meng said coldly, “My master treated you well, gave you fresh fruit, and this is how you repay him? Unforgivable!”
Zuo Zhixian, hearing her refer to Tang Ze as “master,” looked up at her in disbelief.
“We were blind! We won’t dare to do it again!”
“Big Brother, it was all Zuo Zhixian’s idea! We were all coerced!”
“Yes, yes, he was the one who suggested robbing you! We didn’t know!”
Zuo Zhixian’s eyes were filled with fury. “You bastards! Now you’re all blaming me! You’ll all die a horrible death!”
Tang Ze lit a cigarette and looked at him. “Mr. Zuo, when someone offers you a light, you should at least put your hand out. It’s a matter of respect, isn’t it?”
“I… I… I was wrong! Next time, I will!”
“Oh? You want me to offer you a light again?”
“No, no, no! I’ll offer! I’ll offer!”
“Too late.”
He beckoned to Ye Qingyi, who obediently handed him her gun.
He pulled Li Linger in front of him. “You’re the new one. This is your first lesson: killing.”
“I… I…”
Li Linger was timid, her hands trembling. She didn’t dare to kill.
“Take it.”
Tang Ze held the gun out to her.
But she felt as if her strength had been drained. She could barely lift her hand, let alone hold the gun.
“I don’t want to repeat myself.”
His voice grew colder.
Xi Meng suddenly put a hand on Li Linger’s shoulder and said gently, “Linger, don’t be afraid. You can do it.”
“Sister Meng…”
Sun Ting said calmly, “If we weren’t stronger than them, what would have happened? Think about it.”
Yes, if Master wasn’t strong, these animals would have violated me. I would have died without even knowing who killed my parents.
Suddenly, Li Linger felt a surge of strength. She gripped the pistol, her posture surprisingly standard. She had practiced for her roles before.
“Shoot.”
Tang Ze said calmly.
At his words, the kneeling men were terrified. One of them started kowtowing and begging, and the others followed suit, their foreheads scraping the ground.
“Don’t kill me! I have old parents and young children!”
“My wife just gave birth yesterday! Please, for the sake of my child, don’t kill me!”
Faced with their pleas, Li Linger hesitated. She couldn’t do it.
An Bai suddenly said, “These are standard lines in the apocalypse. I’ve heard them many times.”
Tang Ze narrowed his eyes and said in a low voice, “Don’t you want to avenge your parents? And now you can’t even kill anyone? If the murderer knelt before you and begged for forgiveness, would you spare him?”
“No! I wouldn’t!”
Li Linger yelled.
“Then shoot!”
She tensed her arm, her finger on the trigger, but she couldn’t pull it.
Tang Ze sighed and stamped out his cigarette. He beckoned to Sun Ting, who handed him her gun.
His next move stunned everyone. They stared in disbelief…
The gun in Tang Ze’s hand was aimed at Li Linger’s temple. She could even feel the warmth of the barrel, her face instantly turning pale.
