I’ve Reloaded the Save File! [Transmigration] 71

71: Extra

As she had said, Zuo Wuyi and Mo Xiao did not stay in the Demon Realm for long. Because the high-level demons were almost all dead, the remaining demons were easy to manage.

Even if there were a few disobedient ones, after being beaten a few times, they also learned to tuck their tails and be demons. At least while Zuo Wuyi was still the Demon Venerable, they would cherish their lives more.

After Mo Xiao broke through to the Integration stage in the Demon Realm, Zuo Wuyi became even more unrestrained. She didn’t even disguise herself when she traveled in the cultivation world, not caring at all if her face would be recognized.

“The famous ones are Master’s two disciples, not our two faces. Besides, there aren’t many cultivators who know us, so there’s no need to disguise ourselves at all,” This was Zuo Wuyi’s excuse.

As for Mo Xiao’s attitude, it was naturally that Zuo Wuyi was right about everything, and she unconditionally agreed.

The facts were also as Zuo Wuyi had said. Although their reputation was great, there were really not many people who knew them. After wandering in the cultivation world for more than ten years, they only happened to meet a former fellow sect member who was out for training.

“Yun… Senior Sister Yunmu?” A disciple of the Inquiring Dao Sect’s mouth was wide open. He had just broken through to the Nascent Soul stage not long ago and had received a mission to leave the sect.

Mo Xiao raised an eyebrow. She looked at the other party carefully for a long time, but still didn’t recognize who he was.

“Senior Sister, I am the sixth disciple under the Ninth Elder. We have sparred before,” The disciple of the Inquiring Dao Sect probably also knew that Mo Xiao didn’t remember him, so he announced his identity.

“Senior Sister, so you’re alright! Did you just come out of the Demon Realm! I’ll write a letter to Elder Xuan Shuang right away. She will definitely be very happy to know that you’re alright!” The disciple of the Inquiring Dao Sect said with a smile on his face. It could be seen that his joy was from the bottom of his heart.

“No need, Junior Brother,” Mo Xiao waved her hand to stop the other party’s action. “Although we have left the Demon Realm, our bodies have been tainted by demonic energy…”

As she spoke, Mo Xiao tactically paused for a moment. “The demonic energy in our meridians can’t be removed anymore. From another point of view, we are already demon cultivators…”

The disciple of the Inquiring Dao Sect was first stunned, and then expressions of anger, sadness, sympathy, and pity appeared on his face in succession. “Senior Sister, even if you are a demon cultivator, you are still our senior sister!”

“Besides, the demons and we have already ceased fighting. Many demon cultivators are also active here. As long as they don’t cause trouble, it’s fine!” The disciple of the Inquiring Dao Sect said, getting excited. “Senior Sister! The elder is very powerful now. Maybe she can help you!”

And so, this Nascent Soul stage disciple insisted on pulling the two of them back to the sect, not even caring about the mission in his hands, and couldn’t wait to take off on the spot.

The subsequent development was a bit beyond Mo Xiao and Zuo Wuyi’s expectations. It was unknown whether the Inquiring Dao Sect had some kind of filter for the two of them or their master, but they accepted their identities as demon cultivators very quickly.

Later, after discovering that their cultivation was very high, the Sect Master even ridiculously invited them to become resident elders, wanting to protect them under the name of the Inquiring Dao Sect.

“Resident elders are out of the question. It’s enough for them to be guest elders,” Xuan Shuang finally spoke, setting their identities.

Mo Xiao and Zuo Wuyi didn’t know if they should laugh or not, but just felt that things were a little ridiculous.

Especially Zuo Wuyi. She was still the Demon Venerable now. If this news were to spread back to the Demon Realm, those demons would definitely riot.

Fortunately, with Xuan Shuang as a backstop, this news was not widely publicized. It was just that others knew that the Inquiring Dao Sect had two more guest elders with unfathomable strength.

After their identities were made public, Mo Xiao and Zuo Wuyi’s lives became even more comfortable, and their cultivation also rose unconsciously.

After about a hundred years, the two of them both became Mahayana stage cultivators, truly able to walk sideways in the two realms.

As their master, Xuan Shuang’s cultivation naturally improved a little faster than theirs, but she now had a deeper attachment and maintained her cultivation at the late Mahayana stage. While guarding her attachment, she also acted as the stabilizing force of the Inquiring Dao Sect.

Compared to Xuan Shuang, who was stationed in the Inquiring Dao Sect all year round, Mo Xiao and Zuo Wuyi’s lives were too carefree. After their strength reached the Mahayana stage, they no longer flew on their swords, but chose to ride the most ordinary horses, traveling like ordinary mortals.

During this time, they encountered all kinds of ridiculous people and things. While dealing with scumbags, they also helped many people. Gradually, they also began to have strange titles.

For example, the Sword-Drawing Twin Heroes, the Black and White Great Immortals, the Twin Peerless Fairies, the Salvation Immortals, the Cold-Faced Judge, and other very strange titles that came from who knows where.

Mo Xiao and Zuo Wuyi ascended together. They had not made a big deal out of it before, but only wrote a letter to Xuan Shuang, who was still here, after they had a premonition. Then, under the admiring gazes of many cultivators, they successfully ascended to immortality.

At this time, the Heavenly Dao appeared and fulfilled its promise, sending Mo Xiao back to the time she wanted.

“Although we have no regrets now, I want to go back to the day before I transmigrated, with Wuyi,” Mo Xiao said.

She wanted every future of theirs to be a beautiful future.

The two of them had already ascended, so there was not much difference between sending one back and sending two back. A soft light appeared in front of the two of them. They subconsciously closed their eyes, and when they opened them again, their surroundings had completely changed.

“Professor, this is tomorrow’s experiment plan. Please take a look,” As soon as Mo Xiao opened her eyes, she saw a familiar yet unfamiliar person.

Mo Xiao did not speak, but took the so-called plan and looked at it, then crossed out one of the items with a pen. “This matter does not need to be carried out for now. The rest is as usual.”

“Alright, I’ll arrange the plan right away,” the researcher nodded.

“You guys can do your own research during this time. Contact me if you encounter any difficulties,” Mo Xiao recalled her earliest memories. “Anyone in the research institute who has worked continuously for more than twelve hours will be forced to rest for at least eight hours.”

The researcher was stunned for a moment, then nodded in agreement. Strange, wasn’t Professor Mo the most hardworking one among them? Why wasn’t she coming here anymore?

After confirming that tomorrow’s accident would not happen, Mo Xiao dealt with the remaining equipment on hand, quickly took off her protective suit, and left the research institute.

She took out her phone. Before she could call Zuo Wuyi, she saw a fiery red sports car parked at the entrance of the research institute.

“Go home?” Zuo Wuyi leaned against the car door, playing with the car keys in her hand, a bright smile on her face.

Mo Xiao also smiled, walked over and hugged Zuo Wuyi, burying her head deep in the crook of her neck. “Mhm, let’s go home.”

The researcher who was secretly behind the main gate silently covered his mouth. He understood. No wonder the professor had given him a vacation. It turned out that she had reconciled with her girlfriend!

It seemed that there was no need to worry about the research institute’s funds now. With the professor’s girlfriend around, they were backed by a rich sponsor!

By the way, when can I have a girlfriend too? She doesn’t have to be so rich, nor so beautiful. As long as our personalities match, it’s fine.

Before the researcher could even fantasize about the future, he saw the two people by the car starting to kiss and couldn’t help but rub his eyes.

Wuwu, today is a day to cry for a beautiful love!

As a qualified transmigrator, Mo Xiao perfectly avoided all the cliché plotlines, diligently cultivating in her immortal's cave from the Qi Refinement stage all the way to the Mahayana stage. Just as she was about to ascend, the sky collapsed...

Looking at the sky full of cracks, Mo Xiao fell into deep thought. Did I do something wrong?

As she was swallowed by a rift, she was finally informed by the Heavenly Dao that something had gone wrong with the world's female lead. Not only did she not end up with the male lead, but they also became mortal enemies and perished together...

The Heavenly Dao gave Mo Xiao a chance to reload her save file, sending her back four hundred years to avert this tragedy.

To be honest, there's nothing wrong with reloading a save file, but why has the female lead taken a liking to her! And why does she look so much like her ex-girlfriend!!!

She doesn't want to perish together with her ex-girlfriend QAQ

Good story! Part of me wish it slowed down a little at the end so we could enjoy some parts (like their lives in the demon realm, or more of the other relationships) but I still really enjoyed it! Mo Xiao casually falling and their master still supporting them were my favorite parts 🙂

Thanks for translating this cute little story!

I wonder if there’s just nothing to do after ascension? They didn’t seem to consider anything at all but going back and living out the rest of their original lives, which had to be mostly forgotten after 1000+ years
