Chapter 80: The Blood-Colored Bride

Gysin’s eyes burst with a terrifying light, and a surge of ecstatic joy filled his heart. He roared:

“You little brat! You finally couldn’t hold back! It seems I’ve won in terms of endurance!”

With that, his neck bulged grotesquely. He clutched his chest, stretched his head forward, and vomited out several lumps of meat.

Judging by the volume, it was at least thirty or forty pounds—far more than his own flesh.

The rotten purple-black meat chunks emitted a horrifying stench, mixed with shattered organs, bloated intestines, numerous shattered bones, and twisted long fingernails.

Already disgusting enough, they wriggled and formed vaguely humanoid meat puppets, becoming even more hideous and spine-chilling, like creations from hell.

“Meat Baby, kill her! Hahahahaha!”

Gysin shook his head gleefully, letting out a long string of satisfied laughter as the pressure in his heart completely lifted.

The previous few minutes had been the most agonizing of his life—whether to go support Mr. Goat or stay here guarding the place. His mind had waged a fierce internal battle, because a wrong choice meant eternal damnation, like picking one pill from two identical ones, one poisoned and one safe. But he had endured and made the right choice!

The four meat puppets leaped off the ground, zigzagging in flashes as they chased at high speed after Ashley, who was sprinting like a live target down an open avenue without any cover!

It wasn’t long before they bit her calf, sending her tumbling to the ground. The meat puppets swarmed her small body like starving hyenas, launching one cunning and vicious attack after another! Each strike tore off a large chunk of bloody flesh!

She screamed incessantly, but the meat puppets showed no mercy. They first severed her tendons, then gouged out her anus and eyes. The pool of crimson blood on the ground gradually expanded, like a cold iron mirror reflecting the pure, beautiful moonlight.

The meat puppets were auto-tracking types. Once the target was killed, they scattered with whooshes.

Because they had the property of ‘returning to the main body’ and weren’t made from Gysin’s own flesh, even the caster didn’t know where they went.

“Thru-thru-thru…”

Gysin hummed an off-key tune, swinging his arms as he walked straight from the doorway to the corpse. He bent down to gaze at the mangled remains—covered in bites with no intact flesh, organs spilling everywhere—and sighed in a pitying tone:

“What a shame, what a shame. Are the remaining parts still usable? Her pretty little face wasn’t chewed up, was it? It’d be best if I could use her little mouth.”

He hooked the corpse’s shoulder with his toe and flipped it over. Gysin froze, murmuring:

“Auntie?”

The one torn apart by the meat puppets wasn’t the loli—it was the matriarch of the Boothslot Family!

In the instant Gysin was stunned, the blue hair covering the corpse’s head wriggled like a living thing. It shot out and elongated in a flash, tensing in the air with a sound like a plucked lute string!

Like the hair of a female ghost, it split into strands that wrapped around Gysin’s neck and limbs, then tightened with force!

Terrifying sounds of cracking bones and grinding flesh rose one after another. His limbs and head twisted into pretzel shapes in different directions!

Under the horrific torsional force, his skin and flesh stretched like tightly bound rubber bands. Almost all his blood was squeezed out, pouring to the ground in a splashing rush, with tiny streams flowing endlessly…

In the villa, Ashley dual-wielded sawn-off shotguns as she walked through the deep, silent corridor.

“Tatata…”

The Blue Danube flowed elegantly and quietly to her humming, her tender white legs stepping lightly, like a loli fairy washing her snowy feet by the riverbank.

Suddenly, seven or eight ferocious house stewards pounced at her! Each gripped a submachine gun!

“Do you all want to dance too?”

Each shotgun blast triggered “Oriole Harmony,” copying kinetic bullets simultaneously. Double barrels times two copies meant she could unleash eight multi-pellet shotgun rounds in just a few seconds!

Boom-boom-boom-boom—!

The crude, wild gunfire echoed and layered in the luxuriously decorated corridor. The erupting iron pellets shredded soft human bodies and blasted bloodstained craters into the intricate redwood walls. As the muzzle jerked, inhuman scarlet dancers twisted and convulsed around her, spraying joyful blood fountains. The cracking of bones sounded like applause, while slippery organs dragged from waists like pleated skirts…

This was a symphony of death and blood: short shotguns as the opening salute, teeth as piano keys tapping heart windows, white bones as flutes in graceful harmony, human skin as drums pounding the climax, tendons as strings plucking the lingering notes…

Amid her soft humming, Ashley’s disheveled hair flew wildly. A little formal skirt of blood and fire swirled around her body. Her tender, enticing little feet silently tread the antique Persian carpet, stepping in a whirling dance, her layered skirts rippling gracefully…

“Amber, my Amber, I’m coming to find you now—before my hands are stained blood-red, before my heart is painted black and filthy, before my lips are dry and cracked…”

Ashley reached the basement door and tossed aside the sawn-off shotgun. She drew her short sword and slashed upward in a gorgeous, shifting arc of a slash!

The crocodile-headed man’s long neck snapped off at the root, the cut clean and crystalline like sashimi sliced by a swift knife. The spraying blood fountain dyed the entire ceiling a dripping scarlet goo, like falling rain.

At that moment, the shattered hair-made Meat Baby returned to her body. Strand by strand converged from all directions, reweaving into a head of magnificent, glamorous hair—but now dyed a deep, ominous blood-red.

She pushed open the door. Before she even arrived, crimson blood flowed down the stairs step by step, carrying shreds of flesh and organs, spilling into a reflective pool. Some fresh organs were even still wriggling.

Amber’s small body was protected by the Metal Lifeform, like solidified in silver magma. A tangled, knotted mass of black-brown sheep horns—like tumbleweed—wrapped around her.

“Ashley!” Amber exclaimed in surprise, then added, “You look so scary…”

“Cooking gets oil on you, killing gets blood on you. No problem—as long as you wash it clean afterward.”

Ashley circled the strange cage trapping Amber, narrowed her eyes, smirked, and teased:

“Tch-tch-tch, how could Senior end up trapped in something like this? What a useless dummy!”

“That person’s horns can extend infinitely, carrying terrifying spiral force that even twists steel.” Amber recalled the battle, shuddering inwardly.

“You mean the screw machine?”

“Hey! When is this a time for jokes? Don’t get careless!”

“Alright, Senior’s always so strict no matter what.”

Ashley tapped the sheep horns lightly with her short sword. Each cut penetrated only a few millimeters before a spiral force repelled it, making the blade hum and vibrate.

She schooled her expression. The Horn Cage was far trickier than imagined, mainly because she couldn’t go all-out with Amber inside—no kinetic blasts.

“Can’t open it?” Amber asked nervously.

“Even cutting one is hard, and you’d need to sever at least seven or eight segments to free you.”

“Forget me—go first, report to the Tribunal!” Amber decided resolutely.

“No way. That guy’s gone to fetch the suspected King Insect Severed Claw. When he returns and breaks your Bio Armor, I don’t know what’ll happen, but it won’t be good.” Ashley shook her head.

“Then don’t worry about me! You should head back to the Tribunal right now!”

“Don’t panic. This supernatural keratin can’t grow infinitely, or that Promush guy would be an inexhaustible gold mine.”

“You mean…” Amber’s eyes lit up as realization dawned.

“He’s lost so much supernatural power. Either he’s weakened, or he has spirit medicine to replenish the keratin. Either way, before he resupplies, it’s the perfect time to snipe him!”

Chloe and Nina dragged an electrical cable, binding one electrode tightly to the Pigman’s foot and offering the other to its mouth. The Pigman laboriously opened its mouth, bit down voluntarily, then closed its eyes, turbid tears streaming from the corners.

Nina’s face was filled with sorrow, her breaths pained and uncontrollable.

The Pigman spat out fragmented, slurred words:

“Let me be freed… my daughter… seeing you at last… is truly wonderful…”

“Let me be freed… my daughter… seeing you at last… is truly wonderful…”

“Mom…”

Nina could no longer hold back. She bit her lip hard, her little face scrunched up, and burst into sobs.

At the switch, she couldn’t pull it down no matter what.

“Can you help me? Waaah… I can’t do it…” Nina looked at the reporter loli with tear-filled eyes.

“Huh? You shouldn’t let someone else kill your own mom!” Chloe rolled her eyes dramatically.

“Use it to stab me, right here.” Nina handed over the Shepherd’s Crook and pointed to her chest. “This is my deepest wish, what I want most to accomplish. The void will amplify this desire, giving me powerful drive.”

“Fine…”

Chloe reversed her grip on the Shepherd’s Crook. As the tip touched the girl’s snowy chest, the tender skin melted away automatically, revealing a black cavity.
