Chapter 15: A Youth’s Dream
Winter had just passed, and the snow on the eaves had not yet melted. Master, in a rare occurrence, crawled out of her warm nest, holding a broom made of reeds to sweep the accumulated snow. Du Yu rubbed his eyes, thinking he had seen wrong.
Ye Shuangyue swept away the snow in front of the nunnery, clearing a path. It was obvious that Master wasn’t good at physical labor; her awkward posture made it hard for her to hold the broom steady or exert force. It was hard to imagine that Master, who was at least a full cycle (12 years) older than him in actual age, had never done any labor. Then how did she live alone before taking Du Yu in?
Du Yu walked a bit closer, and Ye Shuangyue happened to see him, waving at him: “Yu’er, come quick, come quick. Look, didn’t Master get up early today?”
Master lives like a little girl… Du Yu thought to himself.
The rising sun was just blocked by her figure, and her white cotton robe glowed with granular warm light. Ye Shuangyue was very tall. This description wasn’t quite accurate; besides being slender, her body frame was also larger than ordinary women. In Junior Sister’s words, Master had a large frame, looking like a woman naturally suited for martial arts.
Aside from her tall stature, everything about her deserved the word “big.” Her personality was carefree and didn’t stick to trifles; the sect name was generic and common like a street-side ninth-rate sect; her knowledge was vast and extensive, able to teach him astronomy and geography as well as teach Junior Sister swordsmanship.
Of course… Du Yu’s gaze unconsciously fell on Master’s chest. Thanks to her large frame, that area also appeared exceptionally bountiful. And her thighs, which occasionally showed their contours from under the white robe, were full and powerful.
“Master, why did you get up so early today?”
Du Yu quickly found a topic, trying to distract Master so she wouldn’t catch him peeking at her.
“Today is a good day… I also came to Mount Seeking Immortals on a day like this when the old snow was melting.” Ye Shuangyue didn’t care about Du Yu’s little actions at all. “The once deserted nunnery has become lively in the blink of an eye.”
She reached out and measured Du Yu’s head. “Yu’er, you’ve grown a lot taller, almost catching up to Master. You need to eat more rice.”
No… I’m already considered tall among ordinary people. I just appear slightly shorter in front of you. Du Yu muttered in his heart.
Du Yu glanced at the rising sun in the distance, but couldn’t see it clearly. Except for this nunnery, everything around was a vast expanse of whiteness, as if he were in a dream. Du Yu seemed lost in thought, and Ye Shuangyue asked curiously, “Yu’er, is something on your mind?”
“Master, I want to learn martial arts. I want to practice kung fu.” Du Yu took the broom from Master’s hand and swept the snow for her. Only after taking it did he realize the broom was too soft to sweep the thick snow at all. How did Master manage to sweep it?
“Yu’er, you can’t practice martial arts. Have you forgotten? Once you practice, you will suffer backlash. At best, it will feel like ten thousand fires burning your body; at worst, you will be paralyzed for life.” Ye Shuangyue touched his cheek. “Did something happen? Or did Ruo’er provoke you with things from her novel pamphlets again?”
“No, it has nothing to do with Junior Sister. Master, after going down the mountain, I discovered that my inability to practice martial arts might be caused by human malice.”
Ye Shuangyue fell silent.
“I want to figure out what exactly happened to me, who harmed me, and what kind of person I was in the past. But I have no martial arts skills; I can be easily defeated and subdued.”
Ye Shuangyue said, “Yu’er, you don’t need martial arts. Stay on Mount Seeking Immortals, and no one will hurt you.”
“But what if the person I want to find is outside the mountain?” Du Yu spoke very fast, asking back almost immediately after Ye Shuangyue finished speaking.
“…Yu’er, don’t look for the culprit. No matter who he is, he will never come looking for you again. There is no need for you to leave me and Ruo’er…”
“Master, I will come back. Once I figure everything out and deal with everything, I will come back to continue being your good disciple, Ruo’er’s good Senior Brother, and Master Little White’s good punching bag,” Du Yu said.
“You can’t practice martial arts…”
“There are many martial paths in the world; there must be a glimmer of hope. Master, you are learned and knowledgeable, able to find even long-lost classics. You must know some technique that I can learn, right?” Du Yu was slightly agitated.
But he was only halfway through his sentence when Ye Shuangyue suddenly kissed him. Her fresh red lips bit his upper lip; the touch was moist and sticky, the scent fragrant and enchanting.
Du Yu’s body shook, then relaxed, allowing Master to hug him and kiss him wantonly.
“Isn’t it good to stay on Mount Seeking Immortals? There are no enemies here, no hatred, no conflicts of interest… The residents of Lotus Seed Town are simple and kind, and life in the Boundless Sect is free and relaxed. Why go looking for trouble?”
Du Yu didn’t know how to react and could only let Master do as she pleased. At this moment, no action was in the model disciple’s rulebook.
When hugging her tightly, Du Yu realized that Master’s bust was even more magnificent than imagined. The fullness pressed against his chest deformed and squeezed like jelly, and he even had the urge to knead it with his hands. When Master didn’t go out, she didn’t wear undergarments inside her white robe. Although it wasn’t visible usually, once they hugged, the sensation of those two protruding points became exceptionally obvious.
Du Yu thought to himself, I have to remind Master to dress properly in the future…
He was pushed onto the snow by Ye Shuangyue. The snow melted by his hand, and the icy snow water suddenly shocked him.
He sat up abruptly from the bed. What greeted his eyes was still the yellow rosewood canopy bed, the red and green cotton quilt… and his Junior Sister sleeping soundly at the head of the bed, drooling on his arm.
Du Yu looked at the girl’s saliva by his hand and breathed a sigh of relief. He heard that if a person dreamed of a cliff, it meant they had rolled to the edge of the bed and were about to fall; if they dreamed of water, it meant they wet the bed.
Only the last small section of the Calming Incense remained in the corner. Under the effect of the Calming Incense, Gongsun Ruo, lying at the head of the bed, slept exceptionally sweetly, even letting out a silly laugh like sleep-talking in her dream.
This stuff is indeed quite mysterious… Du Yu took an extra look at the Calming Incense, wondering how Du Yao made it. He only felt that this sleep was more sound than any before. After waking up, he was full of energy and his limbs were strong; the aftereffects of the previous poisoning and coma were swept away.
Of course, it would have been better if he hadn’t had that awkward dream.
Du Yu carefully crawled out of the quilt, tiptoed to pick up his Junior Sister, placed her on the bed, and covered her with the quilt—he did this often. As his little follower, Junior Sister often fell asleep randomly beside him, perhaps on the grass beside him when he was daydreaming, or on his lap when he was fishing. Whenever this happened, Du Yu would put down what he was doing, quietly carry the little follower to her room, and let her sleep peacefully in bed.
He dressed neatly and then pushed the door open to leave. After walking a few steps, he saw Du Yao carrying a bowl of hot soup.
