Chapter 222: The Parade of Awakening
Angel rushed into the room, Lena sitting on the bed, deep in thought.
The two nuns were asleep, the room filled with a sweet, cloying scent.
“Not going back to sleep?”
Angel crossed her arms. “Diana is still waiting for you.”
“Let her sleep, children shouldn’t stay up late.”
Lena’s excuse was flimsy.
Angel couldn’t stand it any longer. “Get up, are you going to be a coward every time a girl is sincere with you? Is this a necessary step?”
And she called herself a “King of the Sea,” she was just a fool, afraid of responsibility, running away from love.
Lena, scolded by her little wife, reluctantly got out of bed, her back aching, her steps unsteady.
She could barely walk…
“No self-control at all!!”
Angel grumbled, closing the door, and they helped each other to the master bedroom.
Diana was stunning tonight.
Her violet hair like a waterfall, her amethyst eyes sparkling, her jade-like body reclining against the headboard.
She combed her long hair, its strands falling onto the white sheets, making her skin look even paler.
“Lena.”
Diana’s voice was a soft whisper, calling Lena’s name.
“Ah… good evening…”
Lena was mesmerized, her reply stammering.
This was unbelievable, was this really the arrogant, flamboyant little devil she knew?
Lena sighed. “So you also have a feminine side…”
Diana’s facade shattered. “What are you talking about?! Doesn’t Senior Weakling like me like this?!”
She rushed towards Lena, her soft, pink foot stomping down.
“Weakling, weakling~ Being bullied by a little girl like me, is Senior Weakling secretly getting excited?~ Pervert~ so weak~?”
Lena felt a warmth on her foot, a small lolita standing before her, and she couldn’t help but laugh. “Not much pressure at all.”
“!”
Diana bit her nails.
Her eyes darted around, but she couldn’t escape Lena’s gaze.
“What are you doing, Senior Weakling?! Waaah!!”
Her small body flew through the air.
Landing on the soft bed.
Lena pounced, kissing her noisy little mouth.
Tender, smooth, soft…
Like the finest royal cheese.
Diana resisted silently, but it was more like she was dissatisfied with Lena’s gentle approach.
She wanted more…
“Hiss—”
The sweet taste of fruit wine, mixed with a woman’s unique fragrance, destroyed Diana’s remaining sanity.
Unconsciously, Diana wrapped her legs around Lena’s waist, like a confused koala bear, willingly drowning in her embrace…
Angel didn’t disturb them.
She was an observer, a witness.
…
The next morning, Lena’s face was pale, while Diana and Angel’s cheeks were flushed, as if bathed in spring rain, full of energy.
Lena didn’t want to talk about what had happened last night.
But at least, her little wives were satisfied, while her own fingers were cramping, unable to bend properly…
“Sigh…”
Having too many wives was also a pain.
But this was a pain only she could bear…
Lena proudly put her hands on her hips.
Pain and pleasure, at least during the day, her little wives wouldn’t ask for anything, Lena just had to manage her time, one wife at a time, to avoid the exhaustion of last night.
A perfect plan!
“Hey, time for breakfast.”
Angel knocked on the door, interrupting Lena’s thoughts.
“Coming, you and Diana eat first.” Lena coughed, composing herself. “Um, have all the Doves gone back?”
“Yes, they’ve returned to their posts. By the way, Emma and Alice’s bedsheets haven’t been washed yet, do you want to keep them as a souvenir?”
“Uh… I’ll pass…”
Lena wasn’t a collector of such things.
But last night’s experience had been truly exhilarating, the two nuns’ combination attack was a masterpiece, their tacit understanding making her… finish early several times.
Those who knew, knew. Some people were naturally talented in certain areas, and in Lena’s eyes, those two were incredibly skilled at serving, a talent worth cultivating.
Arriving at the great hall, she sat down.
Diana and Angel were chatting intimately, and upon seeing Lena, they simply glanced at her, then continued their conversation.
Their relationship seemed to have improved after a night of… nourishment.
Lena picked at her egg pancake, then reached for another.
“Slap!”
Angel swatted Lena’s hand away, her eyebrows furrowed. “Don’t eat too much for breakfast, you won’t have an appetite for lunch.”
“If I’m not hungry, I’ll just exercise more…”
Lena quickly grabbed a piece, but seeing the two pairs of wolf-like eyes on her, her back started to ache. “Uh… I mean, literal exercise, not… that kind of exercise.”
Thank goodness she hadn’t started a food fight at the dinner table.
With so many people, Lena was starting to feel overwhelmed, she hadn’t been this tired in a long time…
And after finishing her meal, Lena just wanted to escape.
The house was no longer safe, she needed to find a quiet place, to abstain for a while, to chant some sutras.
Where to go?
Lena racked her brain, then an idea came to her.
There was a perfect candidate, someone who wouldn’t be lewd, nor would she chatter endlessly, besides being annoying, she was perfect.
Lena immediately set off, saying goodbye to her beautiful wives, heading to the library.
…
Passing by Stinky Jia’s research facility, Lena checked on the progress of the Harvester of Fear.
The seventh-rank Bone Dragon was also taking shape. Having learned her lesson, Lena didn’t infuse her own magic power, but chose a more stable method, being cautious.
“Farewell, Master.”
Stinky Jia bowed, his face fawning.
“Three months, I’ll give you three months, I want to see results, finish it before the engagement ceremony, understand?”
Lena held up three fingers, her languid expression as intimidating as ever.
“The Falmouths are under surveillance from all sides, we lack a powerful deterrent, so during this time, you, who have remained hidden, will be a crucial figure.”
“Y-yes! Master!”
Stinky Jia’s hands trembled with excitement.
His sleepless nights had not been in vain, he had finally earned Lena’s trust and was entrusted with a top-secret mission concerning the Falmouths’ survival.
For Stinky Jia, who had dedicated his life to necromancy, this was a great honor, proof that he was a member of the Falmouth family.
“I will do my best to complete Master’s mission, and thank you again for the Book of Necromancy…!”
Stinky Jia’s power had grown rapidly, having grasped the true essence of necromancy, he had reached the mid-stage of rank five.
Thanks to Lena, he had reached a new level, able to experience even more strange and powerful necromantic magic.
“Mm, get back to work.”
“Farewell, Master!”
Watching Lena leave, Stinky Jia returned to his research, continuing his work.
And Lena, transforming into a cloud of black mist, disappeared around the corner.
She walked among the crowd, the news of last night’s events having spread like wildfire, the public outraged, protesting, accusing Red of being a madman, a monster, of having no regard for the common people, treating them like ants.
And the most infuriating thing was that the perpetrator of this tragedy was the Imperial Prince—the First Prince, Red.
The criminal was still at large, enjoying a life of luxury, while his victims suffered.
The law should apply to everyone, even the emperor.
But their protests were suppressed by the Imperial Guard and the nobles.
The best way to solve a problem was to eliminate the one who raised it. Those who dared to speak out were imprisoned, but this punishment didn’t deter others.
The protesters formed a long line.
At the front was an old man, with a white goatee, over seventy years old. Being chosen as the leader of the protest was a testament to his prestige…
“Will we succeed?” someone in the crowd asked, hesitant.
His concern was understandable, they were all living people, with families and loved ones, if they were arrested by the Imperial Guard, their lives would be over.
The old man didn’t offer any empty promises, simply shaking his head. “I don’t know.”
His honest answer made the young man even more anxious. “But if we do nothing, aren’t we just waiting to die? Will the empire even listen to our protest?”
Indeed, he was right…
A protest wouldn’t solve anything…
But those who held a torch for the masses should not be allowed to freeze to death in the snow; those who paved the way for freedom should not be trapped in thorns. Those who had been imprisoned for speaking the truth, had they been imprisoned in vain?
Were they destined to be trampled underfoot by the royal family and the nobles?
The circus incident was the last straw.
Igniting the fire in their hearts!
A raging inferno!
Awakening!!
She hadn’t expected the situation to escalate like this…
Lena stood at the corner, watching the parade.
It seemed Red was in trouble, his power weakened, he wouldn’t be causing any trouble for a while.
Tricked by his own mother~
Poor, pathetic Prince Red, probably venting his anger on his servants in his room right now…
“Tsk, tsk, tsk.”
Lena turned and walked into the darkness.
There was no need to watch any further, the outcome was predictable, the parade would soon be suppressed by the Imperial Guard, and after a few days of silence, it would happen again…
As long as the empire didn’t make an official statement, the protests would never end.
The long-oppressed people would overthrow the tyranny, welcoming a new ruler…
A wise king.
…
“WOW~ little beauty, you look so pretty today~”
Lena whistled, circling Vanessa.
“What, did you also join the parade? You look so good, it’s the first time I’ve seen you in casual clothes.”
“Shut up, devil.”
Vanessa seemed to be annoyed by Lena’s chatter.
Although their relationship had improved, it didn’t mean Vanessa could tolerate Lena being so close. “Stay away from me! You foolish thing!”
“Waaah, you’re so mean…”
Lena feigned tears, moving even closer.
“We were sleeping in the same bed just a few days ago, and now you’re acting like this, waaaah…”
What the hell was this stupid woman talking about?
On the same bed?
She had almost been killed by this crazy woman, and now she was being accused?!
Vanessa pushed Lena away, walking forward in silence.
“You haven’t answered me yet, did you go to the parade? I saw many students among the protesters, including some from Saint Lorenzo Academy.”
Lena chattered endlessly behind her.
Her hand slipped under Vanessa’s skirt, playfully lifting it.
“Your panties today are so sexy, I didn’t know you were the kinky type, how rare~”
Vanessa’s face flushed, and she quickly pulled her skirt down.
Fortunately, no one was around, or she would have been exposed.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll keep bothering you, and don’t even think about using spatial magic to escape, Angel loves me, if I die, she’ll be a lonely widow.”
“Angel wouldn’t be a widow! She has me!”
Vanessa finally snapped, arguing with Lena.
Her face was red, the veins on her neck bulging.
“Calm down, calm down… a beauty shouldn’t be angry,” Lena said, having gotten what she wanted. “Have you heard the saying, ‘getting angry once is like having gastritis once, the toxins released can kill an innocent mouse’.”
“I shouldn’t have listened to you.”
Vanessa was about to use spatial magic to escape.
But Lena grabbed her wrist, pulling her into an embrace. “Don’t look at me with such disgust, it excites me.”
“Insect!”
Vanessa scolded, her pretty face flushed, incredibly alluring.
“You came here just to provoke me, to see me flustered?”
“Half right.”
Lena paused, then said honestly, “Actually, I couldn’t stand being at home, so I came out to kill some time.”
“So I’m your scratching post?! Your ball of yarn?!”
“Well, if you want to think of it that way, I can’t stop you… but everyone around me is trying to get into my pants, to drain me dry, except for you.”
Lena whispered gently in Vanessa’s ear.
“I hope you’ll always hate me, that way, I can have some peace and quiet, enjoy my life.”
“But your happiness shouldn’t be built on my suffering, I hate you, you selfish devil.”
Vanessa pushed Lena away, panting.
At this moment, her thin, white shirt was soaked with sweat, outlining her incredible curves, making Lena gulp.
Was that at least an F-cup?
“Where are you looking!!”
Vanessa covered her chest, frowning.
“Cough, cough, cough…” Lena coughed violently, it wasn’t her fault, it was Vanessa’s… assets that were too distracting.
