Introduction:
Mu Zhi’an transmigrated into a world of immortals and became a supporting character destined to be a stepping stone for the protagonist. He originally wanted to befriend those heaven-chosen protagonists, but when Mu Zhi’an turned around, he discovered that the girls surrounding him were either the protagonist’s childhood sweethearts or fiancées. Most inconceivably, those girls who should have liked the protagonist all fell for Mu Zhi’an, this supporting character. Looking at the heavenly beauties beside him, one after another, Mu Zhi’an had a bold idea. He resolved to get rid of the protagonist and turn the tables to become the master himself.
After finally defeating several protagonists with great difficulty and obtaining a large amount of resources, in order to enhance the girls’ strength, he shared the abundant resources with the girls around him. He originally thought that with the enjoyment of so many resources, he would surely be able to prove the Dao and become an emperor in the future, transforming and ascending as an immortal. Until one day, looking at the rolling tribulation clouds in the sky and the several empress characters reborn in the lightning tribulation, Mu Zhi’an’s eyes gradually lost their luster as he muttered, “I’m so foolish, really… I thought that after getting rid of those heaven-chosen sons, I would be the new protagonist of the world and become a powerful immortal in the future. But I never thought… it turns out they were the real protagonists all along.”
The cultivation realms are all over the place. It says foundation establishment in one place, then completely change it to something else. The more I read, the more confusing it becomes. In chapter 4, they define every realm clearly but a couple of chapters later, there are lots of inconsistencies.
Qi Refinement
Foundation Establishment
Spirit Refinement
Reversion
Enlightenment
Convergence
After that, Spirit Transformation and Qi Condensation came up randomly. Which is what?
In Chapter 51,
“Only a few months to reach the peak of Qi Condensation, even just a step away from the Qi Refinement realm…” Lan Mulian muttered to herself, her eyes carrying a hint of contemplation.”
Wth is going on here? According to this Qi Refinement is the first realm. So, how do you break through from Qi Refinement to Qi Condensation.
Also in one chapter, it is said that main has started fooling around after foundation establishment then later his cultivation becomes Qi Condensation.
Please, fix the issues TL.
I’ll be doing a recheck this weekend and I’ll maintain consistency with the latest chapters that are coming out, since I’ve already built a more suitable glossary and become more familiar with the terms after over 100 chapters haha. This author sometimes uses uncommon words not found in other cultivation novels, for example, the words I translated to “furnace” or “cauldron” which in other novels I’ve seen use the term 丹田 (dantian) but not here. Also, in cultivation terms, sometimes it’s mentioned differently and since China has multiple ways to express a word, I sometimes get confused with synonyms and have to go back to review previous chapters to clarify the difference between qi, mana, spirit, and it gets overwhelming haha.
Update 29/07/24: All chapters are fixed (Or so I think).
Thank you for your translation
Now fixing the (…) elipsis T-T
Hard working man indeed <3
the novel is really good.
It was really good, glad that the MC is not that kind of evil young master, and the system didn’t seem to interfere much just giving the MC (& reader) closure on what he had gained. Though there’s numerous “Ling ex Machina” But eh, he’s a kept man indeed.
