Lin Hang’s scenes were on hold; today focused on other roles, with Lin Shixia front and center.
It was the same makeup artist from that day. She worked off the prior battle-damage photo for reference. Spotting Gu Liuguang, her eyes lit up. She brought up a familiar topic to build rapport and snag some gossip.
“What a coincidence—talked about an idol downfall yesterday, and bam, it happens today.” The artist tsked twice. “Can’t judge a book by its cover. I saw the photo—that model’s gorgeous, just turned legal. Worst part is…”
She dropped her voice. “Someone leaked a list. Looks like two minors involved, and multiple guys.”
“No announcement from the set yet, and Lin Hang’s a no-show. His company’s probably in crisis mode. His rep was already iffy—this is probably legit.”
Her brush swept across Lin Shixia’s face, but her eyes stayed glued to Gu Liuguang most of the time. Gu Liuguang was consumed with her task, plotting how to get alone time with Lin Shixia. She barely registered the chatter, just murmuring absentmindedly.
Wang Li nudged her arm. “You seem out of it. Set too dull? Want me to show you around outside?”
Gu Liuguang glanced at Lin Shixia, who happened to be looking back through the mirror. Her face inexplicably heated up. She took Wang Li’s little fan and blew it at herself. “Too hot out. I’ll pass.”
The temperature was milder than yesterday, so Wang Li found it odd. Noticing Gu Liuguang’s gaze, she caught on quick and flashed a sly grin. “Ohhh, right—fan for cooling off.”
They waited a bit until others filed in for makeup. The artist picked up the pace, double-checked against the photo, and Lin Shixia announced she was heading to the bathroom.
Gu Liuguang shot to her feet. “I’ll go with you.”
Lin Shixia nodded, and they walked to a farther restroom—not too close, not too far.
Gu Liuguang’s mood shifted subtly. Before today, her interactions with Lin Shixia had felt carefree. But after a certain incident, she found herself instinctively keeping distance in public, as if terrified of anyone noticing.
They reached the bathroom in silence. Lin Shixia pulled Gu Liuguang straight into a stall.
She barely had time to react before everything spun. Then she was swept into Lin Shixia’s arms, a scorching kiss landing directly on her lips.
She eagerly moistened her lips and squeezed into the warm cavity of her mouth. Her hands wrapped around her waist, fingers slipping in from the hem of her clothes to caress the pale skin back and forth. They traced along the prominent ridge of her spine, as if leaving some kind of mark, following the bones upward.
Her fingers penetrated the fabric to touch the back of her neck. Her upper clothing rode up from the movements, barely covering the soft flesh at her sides.
Gu Liuguang’s eyes squeezed shut from the kiss, physiological tears dampening her lashes. One hand clutched the fabric of Lin Shixia’s shoulder desperately, while the other gripped the front of her own clothes, afraid of exposing herself.
Her legs pressed tightly together. At first, she could barely manage to stay on her feet, but later she could only melt completely into Lin Shixia’s embrace.
As their tongue tips pressed desperately against each other, on the verge of some critical point, her legs gave out and her body began to slide downward. Lin Shixia hugged her waist tightly to keep her steady.
Muffled sounds emerged between their entangled lips and teeth, like broken sobs. She managed to gasp out a complete sentence in fragments: “Stop… kissing…”
There were no spare panties here for her to change into. She didn’t want to go back wearing wet ones.
One hand lingered on her smooth back, while the other slipped to the other side, stopping at the full, sensitive softness. Gu Liuguang let out a whimper from the pinch, tears sliding down from the corners of her eyes.
“No…”
She released her grip on the hem of her clothes and reached back to pull at Lin Shixia’s hand, trying to tug it away.
From her forearm to her hand, even without seeing, she could feel the veins bulging taut from the movements, as if sensing the kneading pressure.
Gu Liuguang wanted to pull the hand out, but when she finally grasped Lin Shixia’s hand, she lost all her strength entirely. It was more like she was pressing down on the back of Lin Shixia’s hand, urging her to squeeze harder.
Lin Shixia released her lips, which were ravaged and swollen pitifully red. Lin Shixia kissed the corner tenderly, drawing out the sweet nectar overflowing from her throat, as if she could never get enough.
“So sweet.”
Gu Liuguang’s lip corners were kissed red. She could only lean into Lin Shixia’s arms to catch her breath. Lin Shixia lightened her actions with pity, no longer demanding more, just occasionally pecking her reddened lips.
Once Gu Liuguang recovered a bit, even parting her lips made her hiss in pain. She frowned. “Did you bite my mouth open?”
Lin Shixia: “Did I?”
She said, “Let me see,” but her lips pressed forward immediately. She stuck out her tongue to lick at Gu Liuguang’s lips, as if her tongue were the tool for inspecting the wound, checking inch by inch to see if her lips were broken.
When she touched the wound, Gu Liuguang hissed again. It was like flipping a switch—Lin Shixia’s tongue squeezed back in, stirring and tangling with Gu Liuguang’s soft tongue, sucking hard. Gu Liuguang’s tongue root went numb, and she let out a muffled groan as the urge to pee hit her too.
She pounded weakly on Lin Shixia’s shoulder, her hand soft and limp, the blows carrying no force at all.
Once released, Gu Liuguang bolted out of the stall right away. Fortunately, the bathroom was empty.
Lin Shixia followed her out. Gu Liuguang had already reached the sink and was splashing cold water on her face. The heat on her cheeks wouldn’t go down no matter what. She wished she could bury her entire face in the water.
Suddenly, it felt like someone had lifted the back of her skirt. Gu Liuguang stiffened in fright.
Lin Shixia didn’t smile much, and in those moments she resembled Gu Shuang—distant and aloof, unapproachable. She lowered her gaze to look at Gu Liuguang, her hand still lingering below, frowning lightly. “Your skirt got tucked into your panties.”
Gu Liuguang’s face flushed. She clearly felt the hem being pulled free. She mumbled an “oh” in embarrassment and turned back to keep washing her face.
Remembering something, a surge of anger hit her. She whipped her head around and hissed angrily at Lin Shixia in a low voice. “This is all your fault!”
Lin Shixia hummed in acknowledgment. “My fault.”
Gu Liuguang still felt stifled, but with Lin Shixia saying that, what more could she say?
Lin Shixia: “Next time, we’ll pick a different spot.”
Gu Liuguang: …
Lin Shixia walked to the sink next to her. Her face showed no extra expression, just that her lipstick had worn off.
She stared into the mirror at Gu Liuguang, whose face was still flushed, and said softly, “Do you really like me in this look?”
“You were so sensitive back there.”
Gu Liuguang’s face burned unbearably. She glared at Lin Shixia in mortified fury. She’d already noticed something off when she checked the mirror—clearly, Lin Shixia had just held her and kissed her, but she looked like she’d been thoroughly ravished.
Her face stayed flushed for ages, the corners of her eyes tinged with a seductive red. Most importantly, she kept feeling uncomfortable down there and wanted to go back to change clothes.
After rinsing for a good while, Gu Liuguang finally felt her cheeks cool a bit. Beside her, Lin Shixia kept pressing relentlessly, asking if she preferred her current look even more.
Gu Liuguang held back several times from responding. Lin Shixia did look like a youthful general in those clothes, but she had some immunity to that face.
The main reason was her worry about getting caught. The stalls here had gaps at the bottom—no way to hide two people inside.
“It’s alright, I guess.”
Pestered beyond endurance, Gu Liuguang tossed out the perfunctory reply. She didn’t dare linger in the bathroom any longer, or she wouldn’t make it back to the set. Her lips screamed what they’d just been up to.
Once outside, Gu Liuguang scanned for a spot to talk privately, but Lin Shixia dragged her to buy ice cream nearby.
Gu Liuguang was still full of worries and assumed Lin Shixia wanted some. Lin Shixia tore open the packaging and fed the ice cream straight into Gu Liuguang’s mouth.
Gu Liuguang instinctively bit down, but Lin Shixia pushed it further in. Tears welled up in Gu Liuguang’s eyes as she reached to grab it.
Lin Shixia gripped the stick and slowly twisted it once before pulling it out gradually. It was coated in Gu Liuguang’s saliva. Her eyes fixed on Gu Liuguang, who clapped a hand over her mouth, her eyes red as she glared daggers. Her mouth was freezing.
Then Gu Liuguang watched as Lin Shixia fed the ice cream to herself, deliberately flicking her tongue out to lick it, smiling with curved eyes. “So sweet.”
She bit off the tip, then offered the ice cream back to Gu Liuguang.
This time, Gu Liuguang took the stick herself before putting it in her mouth. The taste was average. “Why’d you think of buying ice cream?”
Lin Shixia wore her usual affable smile. “You probably don’t want anyone knowing your lips are swollen.”
Gu Liuguang: …
They walked back. Gu Liuguang checked her lips in a small mirror—they were obviously puffy, but it wouldn’t stand out if she was eating ice cream.
She inspected for a while, convinced no one would suspect anything. Turning to Lin Shixia, she grew a bit worried again. “Your lipstick’s gone. What if someone notices?”
Lin Shixia: “I’ll touch it up when we get back. Just say it rubbed off while eating.”
Gu Liuguang still fretted a little, but since Lin Shixia said so, she stopped worrying. They were almost back at the set, and if she didn’t speak up now, who knew when she’d get another chance? So she just came out with it.
“Shixia, do you know Zhang Xibai?”
Lin Shixia paused, frowning. “You know Zhang Xibai? What’s your relationship with her?”
Gu Liuguang nodded and watched Lin Shixia’s reactions closely. Seeing that Zhang Xibai apparently hadn’t mentioned her yet, she relaxed a fraction and continued. “She’s a colleague of mine…”
She embellished the story, painting Zhang Xibai as someone who constantly made things difficult for her and hated her guts, while also being head over heels for Lin Shixia. She’d even taken special leave to come to A City just to see her.
She described her own feelings for Lin Shixia as utterly sincere and even shed two delicate tears.
Lin Shixia caught on, figuring out the situation. She played along with a heartbroken expression, wiping Gu Liuguang’s tears and soothing her in a gentle voice. “I get it. If you don’t want to see her, leave it to me to handle.”
Gu Liuguang gazed at her pitifully. “You absolutely can’t believe what she says.”
Lin Shixia nodded firmly. “Don’t worry, I won’t.”
