The ground rumbled continuously, as if something enormous was approaching. Yan Chao’s face was grim as she stared at the door, but when she turned back to look at Xiao Yun, a smile touched her lips.

“Don’t be afraid. It’ll be okay.”

The test subject was missing; the people at the institute must be more frantic than anyone.
