Deep within the Exiled Immortal Palace, inside the sleeping chamber, by the edge of the warm pool.
Yan Zhen sat boldly on the poolside, his hands propped on either side as he watched the two pink-hued beauties before him with keen interest. Endless tenderness filled his eyes, while his heart brimmed with a Mystic sense of accomplishment and conquest.
Yun Xiu and Huangfu Wenqing sat in the water, leaning against Yan Zhen’s legs from left and right. They occasionally rubbed their cheeks against him, acting utterly obedient and affectionate.
The cheeks of the master and disciple duo were flushed pink, their eyes half-lidded. They had clearly not yet fully recovered from the waves of passion and were dazedly handling the aftercare, pampering their lover as comfortably as little kittens would.
Since Yan Zhen was leaving the next day, Yun Xiu and Huangfu Wenqing endured tremendous embarrassment to fulfill his every request.
Yan Zhen savored the ministrations of this stunning master-disciple pair, feeling as if his very bones had lightened by several ounces. He reached out to pat their heads in approval.
“Tired?”
The gentle question paired with the tender head pat filled Huangfu Wenqing with delight. A dazed, indulgent smile spread across her lips as she shook her head and redoubled her efforts.
Yun Xiu, however, felt as though he were treating her like a childish little girl. Mortified, she hurriedly yanked his playful hand from her head and opened her rosy little mouth to nip at his finger.
Yan Zhen took the cue and began teasing the Palace Lord just like one might dangle a toy to play with a kitten.
The peerless sword immortal of black hair and white robes—the national protector who stood above all but one, a Mystic Ancestor expert of terrifying might—was little more than a bashful beauty and adorable kitty in his presence.
Huangfu Wenqing, watching them play so merrily from the side, paused her licking and washing to join the “tease the kitty” game. She bit at Yan Zhen’s finger too.
Their reactions caught Yan Zhen completely off guard. Fearing they might turn on him once they came to their senses, he didn’t push his luck.
“It tickles! Don’t bite—I was wrong.”
Yun Xiu held her lover’s finger in her mouth and shot him a glare. After a long moment, she finally released it like a victorious little chicklet, dunking his hand into the water to rinse it clean before handing it back.
Her earnest little expression was unbearably cute.
Huangfu Wenqing lacked such a spark of temper but mimicked her master anyway, nipping his finger a few times before washing it and returning it.
Following her master’s lead was never wrong.
Yan Zhen let out a wry chuckle. He lifted his legs to bring them together, slipping back into the pool. With one arm around each tender white jade body, he drew the master-disciple pair into his embrace, leaned back lazily, closed his eyes in contentment, and basked in the moment’s tenderness.
The two women nestled against Yan Zhen as well, pillowing the sides of their heads on his sturdy shoulders. Their small hands either traced lazy circles over his chest or fondled his chiseled six-pack.
The sensations from each side contrasted sharply.
Yun Xiu was in her mid-twenties and had been claimed by Yan Zhen over a year prior, blossoming into full womanly allure. As a reincarnator, her poise had only grown more refined. Huangfu Wenqing, fresh from her first time and still young, exuded a green, endearing innocence. Even as a reincarnator, she radiated pure girlish charm.
The real standout difference lay in their figures: one side pressed massively against Yan Zhen’s ribs, piled like fresh snow for a visually staggering effect, while the other offered only gentle swells, allowing an even tighter fit.
Such was the blessing of a harmonious household—oh, what a blessing!
Yun Xiu asked softly, “What time do you plan to leave tomorrow?”
Yan Zhen hefted the weight in his hands. “Probably around noon. No rush, so we’ve got plenty of time left.”
“I’ve… had enough already. Don’t wear yourself out too much.”
“Really?”
“Mm~ No misbehaving. Behave, and I’ll give you a reward.”
“What kind of reward?”
Yun Xiu blinked with feigned innocence. “A kiss from Wenqing?”
Yan Zhen pulled a face, tightening his hold on his fiancée to his right and tilting his head her way. “Wenqing kisses me on her own—no need for your rewards.”
Stifling a laugh, Yun Xiu replied, “It’s different. Wenqing kissing you herself is a fiancée’s kiss. If I tell her to do it, it’s from your lover… and your cute little disciple.”
“…”
—This line feels familiar. Didn’t I hear something just like it twice before?
Huangfu Wenqing burst into giggles. She planted a genuine kiss on Yan Zhen’s cheek, her heart stirring as she said, “It feels like a dream. I’m so happy… What about you, Master?”
Yun Xiu reached over to caress her sole disciple’s lovely face. “This master is happy too. Thank you, Wenqing.”
“Master~” Huangfu Wenqing clutched her master’s hand tightly. “I should be thanking you. If you hadn’t always looked out for me, how could I have altered the karma of my past life?”
“Forget the past,” Yun Xiu said gently. “Focus on the future. This master will stay by your side too.”
Huangfu Wenqing nodded vigorously.
Yan Zhen chuckled. “You two really share such a deep bond…”
“And doesn’t it all benefit you, you scoundrel~” Huangfu Wenqing pouted coquettishly. “You have to treat Master and me well, Yan Zhen. W-we’ve given you everything~”
“Rest assured, I won’t let either of you down,” Yan Zhen said earnestly. “Once I’m a bit stronger, I’ll formally propose marriage to the Cloud Heaven Palace!”
Those words “propose marriage” brought mist to Yun Xiu’s beautiful eyes.
In her previous life, she had rejected Yan Zhen’s proposals time and again, ultimately failing him. And yet now she basked in his affections—it was truly—
With that thought, Yun Xiu rubbed her cheek against Yan Zhen once more, a hint of appeasement in the gesture.
Huangfu Wenqing suddenly spoke up. “…I want to know—between Master and the Myriad Snake Queen, who ranks first?”
Yun Xiu cut in at once. “Wenqing, don’t say silly things.”
Yan Zhen gave his fiancée’s thigh a light underwater pat by way of reprimand. “No first or last (except for Master being the top priority). You’re all equal. If there’s any order, it’ll come down to your own strength. But I don’t want any fighting—get along peacefully, alright?”
Yun Xiu said warmly, “It was my mistake before, not considering She Ji’s feelings. Going forward, I’ll make an effort to yield to her.”
“Mm. She Ji’s not bad-tempered at all. Just pet her the right way, and she’s a delight to be around.”
“The way you put it—if she hears, she might just thrash you.”
“Rough words, sound truth—got it, Wenqing?”
Huangfu Wenqing pouted. “If Master’s already said so, what objections could I possibly have?”
Yan Zhen patted her head. “No need to worry. She won’t bully you, and neither will the other girls. I promise.”
Huangfu Wenqing melted under the head pat, squinting in bliss as her expression softened like thawing snow. “I believe you~”
“The ‘you know’ is extra.”
“I-I believe you~~~ One more pat, please, Yan Zhen?”
“Good girl.”
Once their tender moment passed, the trio launched into a second round, not stopping until faint light tinged the sky. They then drifted off to sleep in one another’s arms.
Having claimed these two delicate flowers, Yan Zhen slumbered in deep satisfaction, not stirring until nearly noon.
Yun Xiu and Huangfu Wenqing awoke as well. Seeing the heat in his gaze, they hastily covered their rears with their hands.
“It’s getting late—don’t dawdle. We’ll help you dress.”
“They might already be waiting for you, Yan Zhen…”
Yan Zhen scratched his head, inwardly remarking that he wasn’t some hyperactive terrier dog, so why all the nerves?
