5. I’ll Teach You Some Manners
The three men discovered Gong Yiling and Yan Chuyue, and likewise, the women noticed the uninvited guests.
Their leering gazes made Gong Yiling’s skin crawl.
Although she was now a woman, this scene was no different from a man lusting after another man.
And their eyes were filled with lewdness and vulgarity.
—Keep staring, and I’ll gouge your eyes out!
Gong Yiling muttered inwardly, but acted nonchalant, continuing to sort through the crayfish.
“Young ladies?”
After a long stare, Lei Che finally spoke. “Are you the residents of the cave upstream?”
“So what if we are?” Gong Yiling replied curtly. “You’re not even from our sect. Don’t bother with the pleasantries.”
“Pleasantries?” The two men with Lei Che, hearing her retort, immediately snapped back, “Bitch, don’t think you’re all that just because you’re pretty! How dare you be so rude to Brother Lei!”
“Yeah, do you know who Brother Lei is—” The man didn’t even finish his sentence before almost getting slapped by Lei Che.
Lei Che looked at the two women, already picturing himself with them.
Such a tantalizing scene couldn’t be ruined by a few idiots.
“Shut up!” Lei Che roared. “Can’t you see I’m talking to these two ladies? What are you interrupting for?”
Well now…
The two men, unexpectedly rebuked, looked at each other with disdain.
Lei Che? Hmph, what Lei Che?
Just a nobody who managed to climb the social ladder through some distant connection to the Sect Master. In terms of actual strength, he wasn’t that impressive.
“Don’t mind them, young ladies.”
Lei Che said, walking to the shore with a smile. “I’m not the type to bully others. I just want to get to know you—”
“No need. I’m not interested in men. Go play by yourself.”
Yan Chuyue couldn’t help but laugh, whispering, “Really?”
Gong Yiling puffed out her chest. “Of course!”
“Oh! So Qiu Ming, Chunhuai, and Xinyao are your wings!”
“Pfft… what are you talking about? That’s not it at all!”
Seeing them completely ignore him, Lei Che’s friendly expression gradually darkened.
If they wouldn’t accept his kindness, then he wouldn’t hold back.
“Perhaps you’re not aware, but this is not a place you should be.” Lei Che said, still smiling, his voice calm. “This downstream pool… is mine.”
“Yours?” Gong Yiling sneered. “Just because you say so? Did you ask it?”
Lei Che was taken aback. “It?”
Gong Yiling threw the object in her hand at his face. “This!”
Before he could react, a sharp pain shot through his face.
“What is this!?”
He quickly swatted the object off, a crayfish, still wriggling on the ground.
“You!?”
“Look closely. They are the masters of this place.” Gong Yiling picked up a crayfish and patted its head. “Come on, tell me, do you want to be eaten by me, or be owned by this weird old man?”
The crayfish: “—”
Gong Yiling nodded, saying seriously, “Hmm, the old man is ugly. It wants to be eaten by me.”
Lei Che stepped on the crayfish, a furious smile on his face. “Are you asking for a beating!?”
He channeled his energy and unleashed a palm strike. The attack grazed Gong Yiling’s cheek and hit the water, creating a huge splash and killing dozens of crayfish, turning the clear pool murky.
The attack was swift, and the splash was about to soak Gong Yiling and Yan Chuyue.
But when Yan Chuyue reacted, she saw Gong Yiling shielding her, taking the full force of the splash, her eyes flashing with a brief moment of concern.
“Miss Lü, you…”
“Aaaah.” Gong Yiling shook her long, wet hair and muttered, “I didn’t want to cause trouble for Elder Su, but these bugs who think with their crotches are so annoying.”
Her clothes were now soaked, clinging to her body and revealing her curves.
But in the instant Lei Che was distracted, the girl’s figure suddenly appeared before him.
Then, a powerful punch landed on his face, accompanied by a roar, “Where are you looking, you bastard!”
“Bam—!!!”
His cultivation level was only at Core Transformation, so he hadn’t expected her to attack.
However, this was no ordinary Core Transformation.
Miss Gong’s true essence was ten times stronger than an ordinary cultivator’s. Her explosive punch sent the unprepared Lei Che flying, the shockwave creating a circular ripple in the air, pushing back the other two men.
Lei Che, like a meteor, crashed through dozens of trees and a pile of large rocks, finally slamming into his own cave dwelling with a deafening boom that echoed throughout the mountain.
Dust and debris flew, birds and beasts scattered. When everything settled down, a long trench, as if dug by a shovel, and two dumbfounded men remained.
“You actually!” The two men stared at her, terrified.
She had sent a peak Return to Origin cultivator flying with a single punch. Was this girl really at Core Transformation?
That was a gap of two whole realms!
“What?” Gong Yiling clapped her hands impatiently. “I was just defending the masters of this place. Do you want a taste of this too?”
Their faces turned pale.
However, they were smart enough not to get involved. They didn’t care about Lei Che. Instead of avenging him, it was better to check on him.
After making this decision, they glared at Gong Yiling and said, “Just you wait! This isn’t over!”
Then, they quickly fled.
Back at the pool, Gong Yiling scratched her head in frustration. “I could have had a few more meals. I should have beaten him into a pulp.”
She didn’t notice the look of admiration in Yan Chuyue’s eyes.
—This… this is what it’s like to be a protagonist!
