“Do you find it strange?”

With that, she tossed two pills to them, which they caught in a perfect arc.

The Ghost Physician must have seen that they were affected by the earlier shockwave and offered the pills.

“Don’t be in such a hurry.” Gong Musheng swirled the water in her cup and said, “Do you remember the name ‘Gui Jian Yue’?”
Gui Jian Yue?
Gong Yiling had no idea who that was. Yan Chuyue frowned slightly, but Feng Lili’s reaction was much more dramatic.
“Him?” Feng Lili asked, “What does he have to do with this?”
“He calls himself Gui Jian Yue, but I’d like to call him Gui Jian Chou (Ghost Sees Sorrow).” Gong Musheng said, “I thought he was someone who would shine with a little sunlight. I wanted to trade the secrets of a formation for some information he had.”
“But he double-crossed me.”
“He double-crossed you?” Feng Lili frowned, puzzled. “You, a scoundrel and a wealthy merchant, he double-crossed you?”

“He came to you for treatment, but was actually trying to test his poisons on you. After you found out, he sold out all his partners, even though they could have killed you if they had worked together.”

Gong Yiling was completely lost. She had no idea who this person was.
