The Forest Wind shop was a quite famous general store in Falcon City, claiming that one could buy anything there.
While such a claim was somewhat exaggerated, it was enough to prove the shop’s considerable reputation.
Eden Newman was the owner of Forest Wind. Despite his portly appearance, he liked to dress in gentlemanly formal attire, even when there was no ball to attend.
Upon arriving at the Forest Wind shop, a clerk immediately came forward to greet him respectfully. “Mr. Newman, what instructions do you have for us?”
“Bring me the Bard’s Bow Mindscape Diagram. This item needs to be put away for now,” Eden instructed.
Forest Wind was not Eden’s only shop; he had many more. But his most profitable identity was that of a slave owner.
He had many slaves under his command, most acquired through irregular channels.
This also made him particularly fond of wartime situations, as acquiring slaves became undeniably easier during such times.
‘It’s a pity that ordinary slaves have limited value. If only I could get my hands on some Elf slaves or Mermaid slaves.’
Eden watched the clerk bring over the Bard’s Bow Mindscape Diagram, thinking to himself with regret.
The reason he was putting this Mindscape Diagram away was that Elves had come to Falcon City.
‘I wonder what those Elves are here for. Haven’t they always detested Humans? And the Three Kingdoms Allied Forces even went to receive them so courteously. Haven’t they endured enough cold stares from the Elves in the past?’
Eden muttered to himself.
But regardless, since those Elves were here as envoys of the Elven Court, he could not afford to offend them.
For this reason, the Bard’s Bow Mindscape Diagram, which he was using as bait, had to be put away. Otherwise, it would be a loss if these Elves discovered it and bought it.
On the street, Amelia and Eileen walked openly.
At this moment, Amelia had altered her appearance, straightening her originally curly long hair and dyeing it the same silver-white as Eileen’s, tying it into twin tails that fell down.
She even wore colored contacts, changing her originally water-blue eyes to red. Although water-blue eyes were very common, she still cautiously chose to change her eye color.
Additionally, she had applied makeup, slightly modifying her features. As long as it wasn’t someone extremely familiar with her, they wouldn’t recognize her. Not to mention that the likeness on her wanted poster wasn’t even that accurate.
As for Eileen, she too had applied a little makeup to alter her appearance. Other aspects needed no changes, as there was no wanted order for her.
“Eileen, don’t you think we look like sisters now? You’re a bit taller than me, so how about I call you Elder Sister?” Amelia relaxed and said with a smile.
“No, that would be too disrespectful to Miss. I cannot do that,” Eileen quickly shook her head.
“Eileen, you’re so rigid,” Amelia chuckled helplessly.
“Eileen’s personality still feels a bit honest right now, nothing like her decisive and ruthless future self.”
“Indeed it is so, but Eileen only became that cold young lady after experiencing that incident.”
“I still prefer the cold Eileen. But speaking of which, if Eileen travels all the way north, will she encounter that incident earlier?”
“Huh? Now that you mention it, that does seem possible.”
“Is no one paying attention to Amelia? Then I’ll secretly carry her away. White-haired Amelia has completely won me over.”
