The crowd of helpful bystanders gradually dispersed.
Wang Yue’s roommates, clearly uncomfortable sharing a room with Lilith, also made various excuses to leave. The dormitory suddenly fell silent.
When Lilith and Prima sat side-by-side on the armchair, only the three of them remained.
Wang Yue didn’t actually fear Lilith. In fact, after experiencing Lilith in her “murderous mode,” the current, “normal” Lilith felt almost approachable by comparison.
The blonde loli’s appearance and physique were top-tier. Her small face was exquisitely beautiful, her posture long and elegant. From any angle, she was a perfect picture—the kind of shot you could use as a wallpaper without any editing. Add to that her aloof “Ice Queen” temperament and a palpable sense of danger, and her charm was magnified tenfold.
When Lilith and Prima sat together, the physical comparison became strikingly clear.
“Your body types are almost identical,” Wang Yue remarked casually.
Lilith let out a faint, nearly imperceptible smile. Her stunning wine-red eyes rolled to the corners, glancing at Prima sitting beside her.
Ah, Prima… lovely Prima, she thought. In this boring world, there aren’t many things that can bring me joy. You happen to be one of them.
Wang Yue caught Lilith’s expression and knew she was lost in some twisted daydream again. She decided to finish the measurements quickly and kick her out to protect “Team Prima.”
Following Wang Yue’s instructions, Lilith removed her dress, revealing a fine cotton camisole and boy shorts. Her pale arms and the defined abdominal lines at her waist were exposed, along with a cute, slightly pouting belly button.
Wang Yue took Lilith’s right arm, straightened it, and had her hold it up. She began measuring with a tape, sketching the arm’s shape and proportions on a notepad. Pressing slightly with her fingertips, she felt out the thickness and length of the tendons and bones, striving for a perfect reconstruction.
Lilith remained surprisingly cooperative while being handled. After a while, she suddenly asked, “Am I beautiful?”
“Hmm?”
“My arms are the most beautiful ones there are. If you don’t make the prosthetic look exactly like them, I won’t let you off!”
“You really are a narcissist.”
To be fair, Lilith had the right to be. Her muscle lines were symmetrical and elegant, her body fat percentage impressively low. She looked like a ballerina—not a frail, weak child, but a girl radiating a sense of healthy, athletic beauty. This became even more apparent when Wang Yue measured her legs. Such a physique couldn’t be achieved without long-term exercise and a strict diet.
“Your figure is incredible, Lilith,” Wang Yue praised.
“Oho? Are you envious?”
Hearing praise from her “arch-nemesis” made Lilith immensely proud. She struck a graceful, sweeping dance pose, looking both refined and elegant.
Wang Yue chuckled helplessly, put away the tape measure, and closed her notebook. “Measurements are done. Thanks for the help; you’ve provided a great template for Prima. I know that, like me, you want to do something for her…”
Lilith raised a hand to cut her off. “Hmph. I just want to ‘fix’ my little toy as soon as possible. Let me pay the costs. How much for the prosthetic?”
“I’ll pay you for your ‘labor’ instead,” Wang Yue replied, her tone soft but firm. “Prima isn’t your property. She only needs to be responsible for herself.”
The atmosphere shifted instantly. Tension spiked as the two girls glared at each other, the air thick with the smell of metaphorical gunpowder.
Lilith ground her teeth, her displeasure mounting. She knew all too well that Wang Yue’s gentle, easygoing exterior was a facade; on critical matters, she wouldn’t yield an inch. That was what Lilith hated most—it was incredibly frustrating.
Finding herself with nothing left to say, Wang Yue remembered something. She scratched her head and asked, “By the way, Lilith, how do you manage Instant Casting?”
Wang Yue had originally planned to go to the library to research it herself and perhaps visit that “bargain-bin deity” while she was at it. Since Lilith was right here, she figured she might as well ask.
“Instant Casting?” Lilith blinked, then covered her mouth and giggled. “You’re a strange one. How can you ask that so shamelessly?”
Wang Yue blinked back. “Is it so strange to ask a classmate about a topic I don’t understand?”
“You’re so weak!”
“If you don’t want to say, then fine. Out you go.” Wang Yue made a “please leave” gesture, happy to have an excuse to kick her out.
“Don’t be so hasty. I can tell you.”
Lilith’s voice suddenly became soft and alluring, her gaze carrying a hint of something indecipherable.
Wang Yue felt a surge of joy and said shamelessly, “Then teach me, quickly.”
Lilith flashed a charming smile. “The key to Instant Casting lies in the guidance of mana. You need an ‘Inspirer’—someone to personally initiate you, connecting your thoughts and mana together.”
“Sounds interesting,” Wang Yue nodded slowly. “So, I need to find an Inspirer?”
Lilith stood up, walked over to Wang Yue, and pressed down on her shoulders, signaling for her to sit. The two swapped positions.
“I’ll be your Inspirer then,” Lilith said. “Close your eyes and feel carefully.”
Wang Yue closed her eyes and sat up straight, waiting for the “inspiration.” She felt a delicate hand stroke slowly across her thigh, moving from fingertips to palm, gradually pressing closer as it slid up toward her waist.
“Are you inspiring me or sexually harassing me? Be serious!” Wang Yue grumbled.
“Didn’t you just touch me like this?” Lilith countered, her grip tightening as she pinched Wang Yue’s skin.
“That was for measurements…”
“Shut up and just feel.”
The corner of Lilith’s mouth curled into a wicked smirk. Her fingers caught the hem of Wang Yue’s shirt and pulled it over her head.
“Wang Yue, you’re such a pervert… you’re not even wearing a bra… Ah, your skin is so white.”
“Hey! No extra movements!”
Wang Yue shielded her chest and lowered her head. A wide expanse of snow-white skin on her back was exposed to Lilith’s gaze—smooth, elegant, and featuring alluring back dimples.
“Hehe…”
The blonde loli’s eyes sparkled with excitement. Her fingertips started at the nape of Wang Yue’s neck and slid carefully down her spine. The movement was gentle, as if she were polishing a piece of fine porcelain.
This one is mine…
Lilith’s cheeks flushed as her sense of possessiveness ballooned. she glanced over at the trembling Prima nearby.
They’re both mine.
Wang Yue felt more and more uneasy. What the hell is this girl rubbing?
She contacted White Fish to inquire about Instant Casting.
“Inspirer… search complete. Seventeen records found, but none relate to Instant Casting,” White Fish informed her.
Only then did Wang Yue realize the truth. She snapped her eyes open, glared at Lilith, and shouted, “You lied to me! There’s no such thing as an Inspirer! You made it all up!”
“Hahahaha!”
Lilith laughed loudly and sauntered out of the room.
The Library.
“I should have known. That girl never misses a chance to mess with me. Dammit.”
Though Wang Yue was annoyed, she had to admit that the sensation of Lilith’s little hands had been quite pleasant. I can’t let that happen again, she thought. If a cat gets its fur stroked too often, it’ll just roll over and expose its belly, becoming nothing more than a plaything.
“It’s the end of the month,” White Fish noted. “The Class Competition is coming up soon. You’ll have to cooperate with her then.”
With the monthly exams approaching, the Class Competition mentioned by Teacher Vida in the first Sorcery class was about to begin. It determined the slots for the school trip.
The primary goal of the competition was to cultivate top-tier students. The top four students from each class would be selected to compete together, training their teamwork and combat skills.
“To be honest, two of the top four in our class are people I don’t get along with. I’m not participating.”
“Are you going to forfeit? The teacher will be furious. She’ll say you have no sense of collective honor.”
“The competition is for the top four in total exam scores. I’ll just control my scores,” Wang Yue replied nonchalantly.
“Do you think the teacher is an idiot? Or are you just giving her an excuse? Either way, she’ll be pissed.”*
“As long as I don’t have to be in that competition,” Wang Yue shrugged. “You don’t understand the situation. Without me, our class is a guaranteed win. If I go, things will go horribly wrong.”
