Standing at the shop door, Shen Ke belatedly realized she hadn’t told Shen Yi where she lived.

Nor had she mentioned going to the match today.

The more she thought, the more alarmed she felt. Shen Yi knew her schedule like the back of her hand.

“Shen Ke, you’re back.”

Shi Xu’s slightly hoarse call came from behind.

Shen Ke turned, her expression listless. “Shi Xu, are you okay?”

Shi Xu’s gaze fell on Shen Ke’s swollen lips, her face unreadable. “I’m fine. Let’s go inside first.”

Shen Ke didn’t notice anything off. She walked past Shi Xu.

Shi Dad lived on the first floor; the second was all Shi Xu’s territory. With nothing to hide, Shen Ke bounded up to the second floor and straight into Shi Xu’s room.

Shen Ke entered the room and sat on the bed, resting for a while before Shi Xu came in from outside.

Approaching Shen Ke, Shi Xu hung her head. “Baby.”

Shen Ke hummed, waiting for the next words. After a long pause that tested her patience, Shi Xu finally spoke slowly. “I saw it. That woman kissed you.”

Shen Ke had no patience for Shi Xu. She glared at her. “So what? You gonna control me?!”

Shi Xu slowly clenched her fists. She lifted her head, eyes red and gleaming with a scary darkness.

Shen Ke’s heart skipped. She’d almost forgotten Shi Xu was the one who’d forcibly bitten her nape in the bathroom.

Feeling uneasy, she turned her head and kicked Shi Xu’s shin, her bravado deflated. “It was just a kiss on the cheek. And you’re not my girlfriend anymore—you’re just my ex. Why do you care?”

These words were like pouring oil on the fire.

Shi Xu reached out and shoved Shen Ke down onto the bed.

One leg pinned Shen Ke’s skirt hem, trapping her legs so she couldn’t struggle free.

Shen Ke immediately panicked and yelled at the top of her lungs, “Shi Xu! What are you doing!”

Shi Xu’s eyes were red, her face twisted in a sinister glare. Her features were already sharp and heroic, making this expression look especially fierce.

Shen Ke had never seen Shi Xu like this. Shi Xu was always cheerful around her.

Clenching her fists, Shen Ke struggled and pounded wildly on Shi Xu’s waist and abdomen. But in the next second, the hands pressing on her shoulders shifted to pin her arms instead. Both her arms and legs were now restrained.

Staring at Shen Ke, Shi Xu practically gnashed her teeth. “What am I doing?!”

Shen Ke held back her tears and huffed coldly. “You’d better be!”

She didn’t seem mad anymore. Her Baby was so easy to coax. Shi Xu licked her canine tooth, narrowed her eyes, and pulled a necklace from her pocket, handing it to Shen Ke.

“Baby, will you put this on me?” She’d planned to give it to her the moment she got home that night, but her anger had flared up and made her cry. Maybe this would help smooth things over.

Shen Ke glanced at it. It was a silver necklace with an oval pendant featuring a black circle.

Engraved on the pendant in tiny letters: ‘Shen Ke’s Exclusive Little Dog’. The ‘Shen Ke’s’ part looked especially crude, clearly done by hand.

Shen Ke burst out laughing, her two sharp little tiger teeth adorable.

Shi Xu was instantly stunned. Shen Ke like this was cute to the point of explosion!!!

Shi Xu inhaled sharply, a red mark blooming on her wheat-colored skin. She looked pitiful. “Baby, I won’t do anything. Just stay in my arms like this.”

“You already let someone else kiss you. Can’t you sit in your ex-girlfriend’s lap for a bit?”

“Baby, please.” Shen Ke had been too cute just now. With such a cute Baby laughing in her arms, getting aroused was only natural.
