Chapter 7: Her Lover, the Deceiver

Jia Hua was in a good mood.

The blonde female Alpha looked sharply at Jia Hua. Suddenly, with a dash, she grabbed Jia Hua’s foot and yanked her down hard.

Jia Hua raised an eyebrow. The female Alpha’s jumping ability was decent, but trying to pull her down…

As Jia Hua was pulled and jumped down, one hand suddenly grabbed the wall. Then, with her other leg, she “gently” kicked the blonde woman in the chest.

But that female Alpha just glanced at her indifferently, saying coldly, “I can’t beat her.”

“Trash! Jia Hua is just a female Omega! You’re all Alphas and you still can’t beat her?! Are you all useless?!” The female Omega pointed a finger at the female Alpha and cursed.

The female Alpha’s expression vanished instantly, a chill rising in her eyes. “I can’t beat her, but that doesn’t mean I can’t beat you. Want to try?”

The female Omega choked, gritting her teeth as she lowered her hand. She glared at the female Alpha but dared not say another word.

She turned her head, wanting to see if Jia Hua had already been caught by the three Alphas. Instead, as soon as she turned, she saw Jia Hua’s magnified facial features right in front of her.

“Ahhh!!!”

The female Omega screamed, stumbling backward and falling to the ground.

“Y-You… you…”

The female Omega’s voice trembled. She looked at Jia Hua in disbelief, glancing behind her. The four Alphas were lying on the ground, their bodies twisted at unnatural angles, groaning in pain.

At that moment, a silver iron rod suddenly appeared before the female Omega’s eyes. She instantly whipped her head back to look at Jia Hua, her body trembling.

Jia Hua casually swung the iron rod and smiled. “You even had them bring iron rods to hit me. But why is this one hollow? Next time, buy a solid one.”

This hollow, retractable type was easy to carry.

Holding the iron rod, Jia Hua crouched down in front of the female Omega and said softly, “After all, a solid one is better for killing me with one blow, isn’t it?”

The female Alpha shook her head. “You were just toying with her.”

Jia Hua crouched down, removed the female Omega’s mask to reveal a heavily made-up face. She took out her phone, snapped a photo of the Omega’s face, and then took pictures of the four Alphas groaning in pain nearby. Tossing the iron rod carelessly aside, she stepped past the female Alpha, heading for the alley’s exit.

A hand suddenly reached out toward her. Jia Hua grabbed the hand with swift, fierce precision. In a flash step, she twisted it back and turned, looking coldly at the female Alpha. “What are you doing?”

A flash of pain crossed the female Alpha’s face, but she let out a low chuckle. “Shi Di. My name is Shi Di. Can I be your friend?”

“A friend? With me?” Jia Hua released her hand, frowning at her.

Shi Di withdrew her hand, which had nearly been broken by Jia Hua, and nodded seriously.

“Yes, be friends… if you don’t mind, that is.” Her latter sentence was a bit quieter.

Jia Hua swept her gaze up and down Shi Di once, then turned and walked toward the alley exit, quickly rattling off a string of numbers as she went.

Shi Di, standing behind her, silently memorized them. Watching Jia Hua’s quickly retreating back, she chuckled softly.

Not until Jia Hua disappeared from her sight did she pull an old, outdated phone from her pocket. She opened the social app Starlight and entered the string of numbers into the search bar. A user profile named “Love Zhen Yan” popped up.

Shi Di stared at that name, paused for a moment, then tapped “Add Friend.” Only then did she put her phone back in her pocket.

She walked over to the corner, picked up the iron rod Jia Hua had discarded, and slowly headed toward the four Alphas still moaning in pain.

As for Jia Hua, the reason she left so quickly was because she had glimpsed an acquaintance during the fight.

“Come out. Why are you following me?” Under a large tree not far from the alley’s entrance, Jia Hua sat on a bench, rubbing her wrist as she spoke.

Zhang Juan, wearing the uniform of An City No. 2 High School, slowly shuffled out from behind the tree.

“You spotted me?” Zhang Juan stood by the tree, whispering toward Jia Hua’s back.

“Come on, let’s find a place to talk.” Jia Hua stood up and strode west down the street. Zhang Juan didn’t dare disobey. She followed closely behind with her backpack.

The two walked into a milk tea shop, ordered two cups, and found a secluded corner to sit.

Now it was Jia Hua’s turn to ask. “You saw everything?”

Zhang Juan’s head shook like a rattle-drum. “No, no, no, I didn’t see anything!”

She was scared to death! Jia Hua had single-handedly taken down four Alphas! Was she really an Omega? Was she really one of those underage Omegas people say need extra protection?!

Could Jia Hua send her flying ten meters with one punch?

Jia Hua very much liked people who were this sensible. It saved a lot of unnecessary trouble.

She chuckled softly and asked, “Why were you following me?”

Jia Hua returned the phone to Zhang Juan, falling silent. She lowered her eyes, her fingers rubbing against the milk tea cup.

She had truly been blind before, not realizing Jia Hua was the real badass! She’d treated Jia Hua so poorly… was she going to be silenced?

Zhang Juan felt like crying but had no tears.

“Zhang Juan,” Jia Hua said evenly.

“Here!” Zhang Juan instantly sat ramrod straight.

Jia Hua raised her eyes and said slowly, “In a bit, you’ll reply to Zhen Yan. Tell her I got home safe. Other than that, not a single word about what happened. Understand?”

Zhang Juan nodded frantically.

Jia Hua stood up, holding her milk tea in one hand and her pink backpack in the other. She raised her cup slightly toward Zhang Juan. “Thanks for the treat. See you tomorrow. Bye-bye.”

Zhang Juan immediately waved back. “Bye-bye! Take care!”

Only after Jia Hua had disappeared from the milk tea shop did Zhang Juan fully relax. She slumped on the sofa, hugging her backpack, pouting and sniffling.

Jia Hua was really terrifying! But she was also so cool, especially when she fought! She wondered if Jia Hua needed a lackey to run errands… she wanted to volunteer…
