The moment she ate it, Yin Sha’s eyes lit up.
It was the sweetest fruit she had ever tasted. She didn’t find it cloying, but rather thought the sweetness was perfect.
“Is it good?” Bai Sha asked.
“Delicious, delicious.” Yin Sha nodded repeatedly.
This reaction was entirely expected. In her first and second lives, Bai Sha had gotten to know Yin Sha well enough—she was a complete foodie through and through.
Delicious food could strongly influence many of Yin Sha’s decisions.
Bai Sha continued, “The Sweet Fruit grows in a very hidden place on the seafloor. Do you want to know where that is?”
“There are more Sweet Fruit there? I want to know, I want to know.”
Yin Sha answered without hesitation, her eyes brightening.
Then, as if remembering something, she patted herself with her pectoral fin and said, “As for you joining the Demon Alliance, leave it to me.”
Yin Sha understood that Bai Sha had an aim in telling her all this. Since she had accepted the gift, helping her in return was only natural.
Bai Sha smiled. “Then I’ll trouble you, Senior.”
“No need to call me Senior. If you don’t mind, just call me Sister,” Yin Sha said with a grin.
“Then I’ll trouble you, Sister Yin Sha.”
After Bai Sha said this, she promptly told Yin Sha the location of the Sweet Fruit.
She knew Yin Sha very well, knowing she was a Demon Cultivator who kept her word, so there was no harm in revealing the spot first.
To Yin Sha, however, this was a sign of Bai Sha’s trust. Being trusted felt very good and lifted her spirits.
Yin Sha then got straight to the point. “Then let me take you to the Demon Alliance first.”
Bai Sha nodded.
With a sweep of her two pectoral fins, Yin Sha darted out of the underwater cave, and Bai Sha quickly followed.
Once outside, Yin Sha first ordered the Great White Sharks under her command to go collect Sweet Fruit from the location Bai Sha had described, then she herself led Bai Sha away from White Shark Territory.
Along the way, Yin Sha gave Bai Sha a brief rundown of the Demon Alliance.
The Demon Alliance was the largest organization for sea-dwelling Demon Cultivators. It allowed transactions in cultivation arts, spells, spiritual materials, data, magical tools, and much more. The currency used was Contribution Points, and to earn them, one had to complete various commissions issued within the Alliance.
Bai Sha had already learned about this from the Profound Water Turtle in her previous life, but as a member of the Demon Alliance, Yin Sha knew far more detail. She could give Bai Sha a much clearer picture of the organization.
The more she learned, the more Bai Sha looked forward to joining the Demon Alliance.
Once she joined, at least she would no longer be rootless and adrift.

A long while later.
Accompanied by the sound of rushing water, two Great White Sharks swam rapidly through the sea.
The larger one ahead turned around and said, “Bai Sha, the Seven-Colored Shell is just ahead. This is the Demon Alliance’s branch in the Eastern Sea.”
Bai Sha paddled the water with her pectoral and tail fins and sped over.
After rounding a towering underwater cliff, a dazzling brilliance appeared before her eyes.
It was an enormous shell, surrounded by sheer rock walls, as vast as a human city.
This was the Seven-Colored Shell!
Countless Demon Cultivator figures moved to and fro inside it. Their shapes were bizarre, and their cultivation levels varied, all mingling together to create a lively, bustling scene within the Shell.
“Bai Sha, wait here for me. You can’t enter the Seven-Colored Shell yet without being a member,” Yin Sha told her.
“I understand.” Bai Sha immediately stopped in the water.
“I’ll be back very soon.”
With a flick of her tail fin that sent up a spray of white foam, Yin Sha swiftly entered the Seven-Colored Shell.
Once inside, she also stopped.
“Affinities gather, affinities dissolve, affinities must run dry; dreams come, dreams go, dreams turn to naught!”
After reciting this line, Yin Sha remained motionless in place.
Bai Sha watched from afar, recalling what Yin Sha had explained to her before. She knew Yin Sha was presently viewing the Dream Ruins.
In Bai Sha’s view, the so-called Dream Ruins were akin to the internet from her previous life.
Within the area of the Seven-Colored Shell, simply reciting “Affinities gather, affinities dissolve, affinities must run dry; dreams come, dreams go, dreams turn to naught” would summon the Dream Ruins Panel. Through a mere thought, one could perform all sorts of operations on it.
Purchases, trades, accepting commissions—everything could be done through the Dream Ruins, making it a truly miraculous thing.
Recommendations for new members to the Demon Alliance naturally had to go through the Dream Ruins as well.
Bai Sha did not wait long. Yin Sha turned and left the Seven-Colored Shell, quickly returning right in front of her.
“Bai Sha!” After swimming up, Yin Sha spat out a white orb the size of a human fist. “Hurry and infuse your Demonic Power into this. This is a blank identity token. Once applied for, it must be used within a quarter of an hour, or it will become useless. When you input your Demonic Power, your information will be recorded in the Demon Alliance, and you will become a member.”
“I understand.”
Bai Sha hurriedly lifted her two pectoral fins to catch the orb, then poured her Demonic Power into it.
Instantly, the orb transformed into rainbow light and merged directly into Bai Sha’s body.
“It’s all done,” Yin Sha said with a smile. “From now on, you can enter the Seven-Colored Shell and use the Dream Ruins. I told you how to use it earlier—do you still remember? If anything is unclear, just ask me.”
“I remember it all. Thank you, Sister Yin Sha,” Bai Sha said gratefully.
“No need for thanks… Let’s head to the Seven-Colored Shell.” Yin Sha turned again and swam toward the Shell.
Bai Sha hurried after her.
Upon entering the Seven-Colored Shell, Bai Sha immediately began to recite.

The moment the words fell, an illusory panel appeared in front of Bai Sha.
The transaction interface, the commission interface, the communication interface.
These were the three main interfaces of the Dream Ruins.
Bai Sha opened the transaction interface. She saw sub-categories for cultivation arts, spells, magical tools, array plates, talisman papers, pills, and so on. With enough Contribution Points, you could buy anything here.
But Bai Sha’s Contribution Points were… zero!

The Chat Section was where Demon Alliance members freely exchanged conversations.
The Friends Section had the function of allowing members to send private messages to one another.
Bai Sha saw Yin Sha’s friend request and immediately accepted it.
“Alright,” Yin Sha’s voice came again. “Now that we’re friends, you can contact me anytime. Even if I’m not here, the message will be saved, and I’ll see it the next time I come to the Seven-Colored Shell.”
“I understand. Thank you, Sister Yin Sha.”
“No problem. We’re both from the Great White Shark Clan, so it’s only right to help each other. I just accepted a commission, so I’ll be going.”
“Goodbye, Sister Yin Sha.”
Bai Sha saw Yin Sha off with her eyes.
After she left, Bai Sha looked at the Dream Ruins Panel before her and took a deep breath. With her entry into the Demon Alliance successful, there were finally things she could set out to do.
