“You want to learn Water Dragon Burst?” Yin Sha understood.
“Even though I’ve become a demon cultivator, I’m only at the Early Qi Condensation stage. My cultivation is low, and I haven’t mastered any spells. So, if possible, I’d like to learn Water Dragon Burst,” Bai Sha stated affirmatively.
“Mm, that’s certainly possible,” Yin Sha replied with a smile. “I can teach you. As for compensation, it seems you can’t produce any right now. But that’s fine. Once this mining commission is completed, you should be able to accumulate a sum of contribution points. You can just transfer some contribution points to me then.”
“Does Sister Yin Sha mean you can teach me Water Dragon Burst in advance?” Bai Sha’s eyes immediately lit up.
“That’s right, I can teach you right now,” Yin Sha was extremely considerate.
In Yin Sha’s view, once this mining job was over, the contribution points Bai Sha earned would be more than enough to exchange for a spell within the Demon Alliance.
Teaching Bai Sha a spell was simply a matter of letting her learn one a bit earlier. If doing so could earn Bai Sha’s goodwill, it certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Even demons understood the value of making many friends. That way, if they ran into trouble themselves, it would be easier to find a friend to help.
“Thank you, Sister Yin Sha,” Bai Sha expressed her thanks with utter sincerity.
“Let’s go, we’ll talk as we move. Water Dragon Burst isn’t too difficult to learn; you should be able to grasp it quickly.”
As Yin Sha spoke, she swam into the cave entrance ahead.
Bai Sha quickly followed her in.
The cave entrance was very narrow. However, once inside, the space widened considerably, enough for Bai Sha and Yin Sha to swim side by side.
They lagged some distance behind the three demon cultivators ahead to ensure their conversation wouldn’t be overheard. Then Yin Sha began to explain the method for casting Water Dragon Burst to Bai Sha.
This was Bai Sha’s first time learning a spell, and her concentration was intensely focused, memorizing every word Yin Sha said.
Before long, Yin Sha had finished explaining everything she needed to say. She concluded, “Those are the main points of Water Dragon Burst. Next, you need to try casting it based on what I’ve told you. If you can learn it, it’ll also make blasting open the rocks here to find Water Jade Stones much easier.”
“I understand, thank you, Sister Yin Sha,” Bai Sha thanked her.
Just then, a rumbling sound came from up ahead.
Bai Sha and Yin Sha hurried forward just in time to see Hong Gang raising his two massive pincers and pounding them against a rock wall, again and again. The wall was covered in cracks, and broken stones continuously crumbled down.
He had already started mining.
“Is he using some kind of spell?” Bai Sha asked, looking at the pair of pincers.
“No,” Yin Sha shook her head and answered. “The Vajra Crab race has excellent natural talents. They are born with an incredibly hard shell. When he attacks using the sheer hardness of his pincers, the effect doesn’t lose out to ordinary Qi Condensation stage spells.”
Even Yin Sha felt a bit of envy as she spoke.
If they were in a world without demon cultivators, the great white shark could rule the seas without challenge.
But in this world, filled with the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, many creatures, influenced and permeated by this energy over eons, have undergone all sorts of mutations and become entirely new organisms, inherently stronger than ordinary lifeforms.
Naturally, great white sharks have also mutated, but those can no longer be called great white sharks and must be classified as entirely separate races.
Such innate advantages could only be erased after one’s cultivation advanced.
