Lin Cheng had only come for a casual drink or two. Grape’s cocktails were surprisingly tasty, and the bar was conveniently close to his place.
To his surprise, Xia Ning soon struck up a conversation with Hongshao. She even slid over from beside him to sit next to her. The two women seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely—Hongshao’s teasing left Xia Ning’s cheeks perpetually flushed and her words stumbling out in stutters. But Lin Cheng clearly noticed Hongshao coaxing one glass after another down Xia Ning’s throat. As they drank on, Hongshao casually hiked up the hem of Xia Ning’s skirt and began lightly caressing the soft, warm skin of the girl’s thighs.
Xia Ning’s eyes had grown hazy.
Thank goodness the bar was tucked away in a quiet spot with no other patrons around; otherwise, this would have been downright indecent.
Gradually, Xia Ning’s shoulder inched closer to Hongshao’s. A sly smile played at the corners of Hongshao’s lips as her nails trailed along the tender inner flesh of Xia Ning’s thigh. Suddenly, she pinched a little harder. Xia Ning yelped in pain, tears springing to her eyes. She looked up at Hongshao with a wounded expression, her gaze brimming with tears. “Sis… that hurts.”
“Hurts? Then Sis won’t hurt you anymore, okay?” Hongshao slowly withdrew her hand. But a flicker of reluctance sparked in Xia Ning’s eyes—perhaps fueled by the alcohol. She gently grasped Hongshao’s wrist but didn’t dare say a word. Hongshao tilted her chin up with her other hand. “What’s this? Acting like a little dog?”
“I’m not… a little dog.”
“Then do you want to be Sis’s little dog?”
“No…”
“Be Sis’s little dog, and Sis will take such good care of you.” Hongshao leaned in a bit closer, her long lashes fluttering. The warm breath from her lips brushed across Xia Ning’s face. Xia Ning’s body tensed, her waist going rigid. For a moment, she couldn’t muster a single refusal.
Lin Cheng sat off to the side, quietly munching on the fruit plate Grape had cut for him, thoroughly amused by the show.
“What are they doing?” Grape asked, her cool voice lowered.
“See that? That’s what lesbians do. Stay on your guard.”
“They’re so boring,” Grape murmured her verdict, then softly added, “Is today’s drink good?”
Lin Cheng nodded. “One more.”
Grape began mixing his next cocktail. Meanwhile, Hongshao had leaned in close to Xia Ning’s ear, whispering something Lin Cheng couldn’t quite catch. He only saw Xia Ning’s cheeks burn even redder.
“Drink up like a good girl, or should we call it a night right here?”
Xia Ning grabbed her glass from the table and downed it in one go. Her fair little face flushed deeper still. Hongshao’s fingertip brushed her pink lips, wiping away the stray drops of liquor. With her other hand, she pulled out a napkin to dab at Xia Ning’s collarbone. But Lin Cheng watched as that hand seemed to “accidentally” linger, rubbing just a bit too long. It looked poised to slip into the neckline of Xia Ning’s little dress while she wasn’t paying attention. Lin Cheng cleared his throat pointedly.
Hongshao glanced back, showing not a hint of embarrassment at being caught. “You’re such a spoilsport.”
“Hey, hey—this is a public place! That’s indecent!”
“Are there any outsiders here?”
“Am I not?” Lin Cheng widened his eyes.
“Want Sis to take care of you too?” Hongshao turned back to Xia Ning with an increasingly playful smile. “But… this guy would see. Do you mind him watching?”
Xia Ning had been plied with several glasses by Hongshao without realizing it. Her head swam in a fog now, leaving her mumbling incoherently. Lin Cheng shot a glance at Grape; at this point, it seemed his only recourse was to call on her for backup.
“Keep playing these games here, and get out.”
Grape’s icy tone carried a tangible edge of killing intent. Hongshao’s body shivered faintly. She pulled her hand back and meekly laid her upper body across the bar top, gazing up at Grape. “I was wrong, okay?”
Xia Ning slowly came back to her senses. She snatched a piece of ice and popped it into her mouth, trying to clear her head. What the hell had she been doing just now?
Footsteps approached again. Lin Cheng turned to see Jiang Lingxue stepping in from outside. She wore a black spaghetti-strap top under a white denim jacket, paired with jeans. The scene before her gave even her pause, and she tilted her head. “What are you all up to?”
Both Xia Ning and Hongshao froze. Xia Ning’s eyes lit up first. “A Xue, what brings you here?”
“None of your business.” Jiang Lingxue barely spared her a glance before sliding onto the stool beside Lin Cheng. She held out her hand to him. “Give it.”
“Give what?”
“The No. 3 Potion Lemon made for me. Hand it over.”
Lin Cheng pulled out two vials and passed them to her. But Jiang Lingxue didn’t withdraw her hand. “Where’s the third?”
“Confiscated.”
“Give it to me.” Jiang Lingxue repeated.
“Hold on—let me ask first… Why’d you have her make it for you?”
“To feed it to you.”
“I’ll bite you to death.” Lin Cheng glared at her fiercely. “Confiscated. No.”
“You don’t want to drink it?” Jiang Lingxue tilted her head.
“I’m not that much of a freak yet, am I?”
“Anyway, we’ve played out all the tame stuff. Time for something more exciting.” Jiang Lingxue’s tone was utterly innocent. “Come on, give it to me.”
It was rare to see her acting coquettish, but Lin Cheng just reached out and knocked her on the forehead. “Confiscated means confiscated.”
Jiang Lingxue gave him a sullen look, her cheeks puffing out. She turned to Grape. “Make me a Negroni.”
Grape nodded lightly.
She and Jiang Lingxue got along decently well. She set about mixing the drink with care. Meanwhile, Hongshao’s appraising gaze roamed over Jiang Lingxue—from her cheeks to her chest, waist, and legs. Moments later, Jiang Lingxue sensed it and turned to meet her eyes.
The two women locked gazes for a second. Jiang Lingxue tilted her head. “What are you staring at?”
“I’m Hongshao. Nice to meet you?”
Hongshao extended her hand, but Jiang Lingxue rudely swatted it away with disdain. “Not interested.”
Hongshao’s smile faltered for an instant. Lin Cheng shrugged from the side. “She’s like that with strangers. You’ll get used to it.”
Right then, Xia Ning’s face was still beet red as she stared at Jiang Lingxue. “A Xue… I think I’ve had too much.”
“If you’re drunk, go home and sleep. Don’t bother me.” Jiang Lingxue gave her a flat look.
“I… I can’t make it back alone.”
“Don’t bug me about this a second time. I’m not going home tonight.” With that indifferent remark, Jiang Lingxue ignored Xia Ning completely and grabbed Lin Cheng’s arm. “Give it!”
“No!” Lin Cheng reached out and tugged at Jiang Lingxue’s cheeks, stretching them into all sorts of cute shapes. “Personal kinks are your business, but I still suggest seeing a doctor.”
“Come onnn.” Jiang Lingxue clung to his arm and shook it, her voice suddenly syrupy sweet.
“Since when did you learn to act cute?” Lin Cheng stared at her in disbelief. But Jiang Lingxue pressed right up against him, leaning on his shoulder. Her eyes gazed up at him pitifully, her pink lips pouting. “I wanna try it too. Give me the potion… Grape got to use it yesterday—why can’t I? I protest!”
“Are you nuts?”
Jiang Lingxue’s kinks involved all sorts of role-playing. During their intimate moments, she harbored the weirdest, most deranged fantasies. Sometimes Lin Cheng wondered what went on inside that little head of hers every day.
He wasn’t the pervert—she definitely was. Spending too much time with a pervert would rub off on anyone, right? What was wrong with that?
Jiang Lingxue leaned in to kiss his lips. Lin Cheng held firm at first, but when her soft tongue slipped out, pure muscle memory took over. His lips parted slightly, responding to her. Jiang Lingxue loved these sloppy, drawn-out kisses—they went on forever until she was gasping for air before she’d reluctantly pull away. Otherwise, she’d just cling to his neck and refuse to let go.
Jiang Lingxue wiped her lips with a fingertip and winked at him, then tilted her head. “You’re getting weak.”
Lin Cheng eyed the provocative smirk tugging at her mouth. If they weren’t in public, he’d love to grab her and give her ass a good spanking.
The scheming Jiang Lingxue always loved provoking him in all sorts of ways, just to get thoroughly punished afterward.
Lin Cheng was starting to lose it. He turned to Grape. “Tomorrow, put up a sign at the door: No lesbians or dogs allowed.”
Grape nodded obediently.
“Who’s the little dog?” Jiang Lingxue shot him a dissatisfied look.
“You’re the little dog.” Lin Cheng snapped back irritably.
But her displeasure vanished in an instant. She threw her arms around his neck and nuzzled him. “You finally admit I’m your little dog? Master~”
“Can’t you act normal for once… We have company.”
“Then make them leave.” Jiang Lingxue didn’t even glance at the other two, her voice turning icy cold again in a flash.
Xia Ning, meanwhile, was utterly dumbfounded.
No—she must have drunk too much. She had to have. This wasn’t the Jiang Lingxue she remembered.
The Jiang Lingxue in her memory was hot-tempered and aloof, handling everything with meticulous precision. She never gave anyone the time of day, especially not men—she’d never cracked even the tiniest smile for one. That was why Xia Ning had always believed they were cut from the same cloth. But now…
“Give it back… or I’ll bite you. Hmph.” Jiang Lingxue brought her teeth to Lin Cheng’s neck. He sneered. “Ha, go ahead—bite me to death?”
Jiang Lingxue sank her teeth in without hesitation.
“Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!” Lin Cheng’s brows furrowed instantly. Jiang Lingxue released him with a smug huff. “Won’t give it back? Next time I bite, it’ll really hurt.”
“There won’t be a next time.” Lin Cheng sneered right back. It wouldn’t faze him.
Grape had finished mixing the drink. She slid the glass over to Jiang Lingxue and said coolly, “You’re asking him for Lemon’s No. 3 Potion, right?”
Jiang Lingxue nodded.
Grape pondered seriously for a moment. “That potion makes you feel all bloated and uncomfortable after. Better not drink it.”
“How do you know?”
Grape opened her mouth to reply, but Lin Cheng was already itching to lunge and cover it. She was behind the bar, though, innocently continuing, “I drank it just yesterday, and I couldn’t get it out on my own.”
“So how did you…?”
“He helped me.” Grape answered guilelessly.
She was never good at lying.
Lin Cheng sometimes wondered if Grape truly felt no shame, or if those innocent eyes hid a devious soul underneath. Jiang Lingxue whipped around to face him. Now it was her turn to reach out and pinch his cheeks, righteous fury blazing as she entered full deranged little dog mode. “You helped her but not me? Oh, Lin Cheng, you bastard—oh, you bastard!”
Lin Cheng was lost for words. Why did none of these women have even a shred of shame? Was he the only one who knew how to blush?
Damn it—was there a single normal woman in this bar right now?
