Watching Laer gradually walk away, Celi placed her hand over her chest, which was pounding for no apparent reason.
Sure enough, she still wanted to say something.
“Laer…”
But the other woman seemed to understand her meaning and didn’t turn back. She merely offered a faint smile, its intent unclear:
“If you can, come to my room tonight?”

Tea Room
“Xuefei, is the tea delicious?”
Leia propped her chin on her hand as usual, staring at Xuefei’s cheek across the table. She gazed at it with unwavering focus, as if admiring a priceless treasure.
“Delicious!”
Xuefei couldn’t have been more pleased!
It started with a slight bitterness that melted into sweetness, a fresh front note giving way to exquisite flavor, followed by a subtle astringency that evoked all the ups and downs of life.
This was absolutely fine tea!
Xuefei didn’t know the first thing about tea, but everyone knew that expensive leaves made for the best brew.
What was that about looking past the surface or analyzing it dialectically? Whether it tasted good or not?
No chance.
In the human world, this tea cost dozens of gold coins per serving. In countries where tea was scarce, it wasn’t even for sale—only royalty could enjoy it, cultivated with care and preserved through magical cold-chain transport.
In other words, it was pricier than gold, rarer than agate, and a one-time consumable. No matter how you sliced it, it was perfect to a fault.
At its core, though, wasn’t it all just money?
“Ehehe…” Xuefei grinned like an idiot, completely forgetting whatever deep thoughts she’d had moments before.
“Is that so? Then, Xuefei, do you like the new Dragon Nest?”
“I love it!”
She hadn’t laid her dragon egg yet, but Xuefei was certain she could hibernate right there in the nest—sleeping through endless days and nights, heedless of collapsing heavens or crumbling Daos, rolling around in bliss. And this wasn’t even winter yet.
Leia planted a kiss on Xuefei’s cheek. The latter blushed fiercely, her shy, adorable expression only fueling Leia’s desires further.
She stepped in front of Xuefei and sat down beside her, smiling warmly as she said:
“In that case, does Little Xuefei like me?”
“I love it!”
Nothing in the world could top Leia. If there was something better…
No, no, no!
I’m only doing this to give my baby a happy, complete childhood. Wait—no! Leia should help me incubate the egg! My dreams aren’t so petty and base. I’ll turn the tables and become the master!
That’s right…
And I’ll make her pregnant with my child, good and proper. That’ll be sweet revenge.
As the saying goes, a gentleman takes revenge even after ten years. Now, my dream was about to come true right away.
“Xuefei, does the power of the gods taste good?”
“Tasty!”
It had felt disgusting at first—after all, it came from those who wanted her dead. But once she devoured the divine power, it transformed into her own evil energy, making her stronger than ever.
Pretending she didn’t want it? Total lie. Who wouldn’t crave power? Especially a greedy Evil Dragon like her, who lusted after treasure and strength in equal measure. She already had plenty of treasure; power was the only thing still falling a bit short.
Wait.
Why did something feel off?
Xuefei looked at Leia. Her eyes had turned terrifying, and for a moment, Xuefei couldn’t even process why her expression had shifted like that.
“Is that so? Does Xuefei absorb divine power too?”
“That’s because…”
No, no!
Why had she spilled such a crucial secret to Leia?!
Damn it, she’d been boiled like a frog in warm water, lulled right into the trap.
Did that mean she couldn’t even think of resisting in Leia’s presence? No rebellion stirred in her at all, so everything just came spilling out…
But Xuefei had no chance to backtrack.
Click.
Pink handcuffs suddenly snapped onto her wrists, the tight restraint yanking the poor little Dragon Girl back to reality.
Weren’t these the toys from the basement?
Why were they here in the tea room? No way—did Leia carry them on her?!
“Little Xuefei,” Leia said, though her smile held no trace of mirth. Her face was instead inscribed with the words “devour Xuefei.”
Xuefei shuddered from head to toe on instinct.
“I’d already reached the limit of my patience just letting you out. And now, you’ve been hiding this from me—devouring the gods?”
“No way!” Xuefei shot back righteously. “I only absorbed the divine power by accident. Besides, Leia, you never asked.”
Logically speaking, Xuefei was in the right.
If Leia hadn’t brought it up, was Xuefei supposed to brag about gobbling up gods?
Though… that didn’t seem like such a bad idea either.
…Of course, she originally had a chance to admit defeat, but Xuefei had already made up her mind. She was determined to make Leia incubate the eggs for her—and she would be the one on top.
What was that saying again?
Right…
One mountain can’t hold two tigers!
“You wouldn’t believe how much natural talent Xuefei has~”
Leia drew her entire body close to Xuefei as she spoke, her gaze roaming invasively over the girl’s beautiful figure. Beneath the frilly Lolita skirt, Xuefei’s pure and pristine body was on full display. Leia licked her lips, looking ready to pounce at any moment.
Leia didn’t refute her own desires.
But Xuefei understood now. Even though she had fortified her logic into an impenetrable fortress, it still couldn’t hold back Leia.
Leia had never needed a reason in the first place.
A few days of pent-up loneliness couldn’t simply be brushed aside—especially not for the Evil Dragon, a being seething with resentment from head to toe. And now that resentment had twisted into raw affection for Xuefei… If it went unsatisfied, it would only grow more ferocious.
Should she challenge her?
Issuing a challenge to Leia would hand her the perfect excuse. The storm Xuefei faced would escalate into a torrent, and come nightfall, passing out multiple times was a very real possibility!
Under normal circumstances, Xuefei would never dream of provoking Leia. But now she wielded a fragment of the War God’s power, intertwined with Alres’s essence within the Evil Dragon herself! Leia’s strength stemmed from devouring the Gods, didn’t it?
Therefore…
Xuefei’s cheeks flushed bright red. Paying no mind to how her ample, well-formed breasts were inches from entering Leia’s grasp, she steeled herself and declared:
“Leia, let’s settle this once and for all!”
“Oh ho?”
Leia froze in shock for an instant, only to melt into an even more indulgent smile the next.
Gazing at the fiercely determined Xuefei, Leia felt a joy she hadn’t known in ages.
“Daring to challenge the Evil Dragon’s authority, are you, Xuefei? What shall we wager this time?”
“This time, we’ll bet…”
Xuefei faltered.
Her virginity was long gone, she carried a child, and her heart had been utterly conquered. What did she have left to offer?
She had no bargaining chips against Leia. In other words, nothing left to lose.
“…Wifey… between us… talking about bets… damn it…”
Xuefei’s voice trailed off into a whisper, tears welling in her eyes as if she could already picture herself pinned helplessly to the bed.
And to her disbelief, Leia’s excitement only surged higher, eclipsing even her own!
“Then, shall I make the rules?”
“Fine… you do it…” Xuefei turned her head away, as if in retreat.
“By the way, Xuefei—do you know how many Gods I’ve devoured so far?” Sensing the tension needed more spice, Leia piled it on.
Xuefei figured it was a straightforward question.
At least five, no doubt. If luck was on her side, maybe over ten. Either way, the duel ahead would be brutal.
But before she could reply, Leia flashed a radiant grin, blazing like a crimson sun:
“Twenty-seven~”
“Wha—?!” No Snake Demon powers required—Xuefei turned to stone on the spot.
Leia licked her lips. From the shadows, her scarlet pupils gleamed with ever greater intensity:
“Xuefei… are you ready for your punishment?”
