Bai Sha’s words sent a tremor through Yu Ye’s heart. Considering his daughter’s safety, he did not hesitate for a moment. “I understand. I will not contact Hai Sha. Thank you for telling me all this, Miss Bai Sha. I will go now to save my daughter and retrieve the Ancient Forbidden Artifact for you.”
“Just make sure you get the Ancient Forbidden Artifact soon. Don’t let another Demon Cultivator get their hands on it first,” Bai Sha added as a final reminder.
Once Yu Ye was spurred into action, Bai Sha opened the trading interface and looked through its various sections.
She had a lot to do next.
First was the matter of the Fire Jade Stone, then studying the secrets of the Ancient Forbidden Artifact that Yu Ye would bring back, and finally, leaving the Eastern Sea.
Thinking about how the Heavenly Devil Palace would blockade the Eastern Sea in the future, Bai Sha couldn’t help but feel a sense of urgency.
She only had one Simulation Count left and didn’t want to take any unnecessary risks. Leaving the Eastern Sea was the only way to feel at ease.
Fortunately, from her last life, she had already figured out the exact timeline for the Heavenly Devil Palace’s blockade. It would start in 35 days, which gave her plenty of time, as long as she departed before then.
She also needed to spend her 15,000 Contribution Points quickly.
Her top priority was using the points on the Cultivation Shell. If she pushed herself relentlessly, she could even break through to Late Qi Condensation.
But before that could happen, the Water Jade Mine incident would occur first.
“Mo Hen is at Late Qi Condensation, and both Hong Gang and Hong Xing are at Qi Condensation Middle Stage… If we all worked together, dealing with Mo Hen would be easy. But they’re all friends, and I’m the outsider. I can’t convince them to fully trust my words, so I can only rely on myself.”
Bai Sha quickly figured out her plan of action.
In truth, there was no real need for her to go mining with the others.
According to the original timeline, Mo Hen would successfully seize the Fire Jade Stone and flee. And the direction he’d flee in? Without a doubt, it would be straight toward the Seven-Colored Shell. After all, who would get their hands on such a treasure and not immediately exchange it for Contribution Points?
The Fire Jade Stone could be stolen, but Contribution Points couldn’t.
So, all she had to do was time it right. She would intercept and eliminate Mo Hen during his escape, and the Fire Jade Stone would fall right into her hands—without any need to split the profits with anyone.
As for how to actually defeat Mo Hen, that wasn’t a problem to worry about yet.
Mo Hen’s theft and escape would happen in about a month. If she used the Cultivation Shell diligently during that time, she could very well reach Late Qi Condensation herself.
Of course, even at the same Late Qi Condensation stage, she wasn’t absolutely certain she could take the Fire Jade Stone from him. But she had other options.
Whether for a Human Cultivator or a Demon Cultivator, the quickest way to boost combat strength in a short time wasn’t through cultivation arts, spells, Magical Tools, or Pills.
All of those were limited by one’s cultivation base. There were only two things that weren’t.
Arrays!
Talisman Paper!
Normally, only an Array Master who has deeply studied the craft can set up an Array. However, to allow those unversed in formations to use them, the Array Plate was invented. By simply placing the Array Plate and supplying it with enough Spiritual Power, the Array will manifest itself.
Compared to an Array Plate, which can be used repeatedly, Talisman Paper is a single-use item. A spell is engraved onto a thin sheet of paper. The user only needs to inject a trace of Spiritual Power or Demonic Power to activate the Talisman Paper and unleash the spell stored within.
