Theoretically, with a sufficiently powerful Array Plate or Talisman Paper, a Qi Condensation Demon Cultivator could easily kill a Demon Core level cultivator.
But one could only imagine the astronomical cost of such items. Her 15,000 Contribution Points wouldn’t be nearly enough.
For Bai Sha’s purpose—dealing with Mo Hen with a one hundred percent success rate—an Array or Talisman Paper at the Foundation Establishment level would be more than sufficient.
She browsed through the Array and Talisman Paper sections of the market. Eventually, she decided that if she had to make a purchase, she’d go with Talisman Paper. Since it was single-use, the price was much cheaper and something she could actually afford.
Her goal was to obtain the Fire Jade Stone, worth 15,000 Contribution Points. If she had to spend an exorbitant amount of points just to get it, it wouldn’t be worth the effort.
However, there was no rush to buy the Talisman Paper now. She could decide on that in a month’s time.
She didn’t have to wait long before a message from Yin Sha arrived, as expected. It was an invitation to the Water Jade Mine.
Bai Sha politely declined. “I’m sorry, Sister Yin Sha. I’m very happy you invited me for the commission, but I have other things to attend to in the near future, so I can’t go with you this time.”
Yin Sha was a little disappointed. “You can’t come? Well, that’s a shame. I was thinking that if you joined, I wouldn’t be so bored while mining. After all, we’re both Great White Sharks, so we’d have more in common.”
“I’m sorry, Sister Yin Sha.”
“No, no, it’s fine. You take care of your own things first.”
“Goodbye, Sister Yin Sha.”
After ending her communication with Yin Sha, Bai Sha headed straight for the Cultivation Shell.
As she neared the Cultivation Shell area, she paused briefly.
‘I almost forgot about the Bloodthirsty Swordfish problem… Hmm, if I cultivate here, I might draw their attention. It looks like I’ll have to ask Yu Ye to deal with them again in this life.’
She mulled it over.
In her last life, because she’d been mining at the Water Jade Mine, she had only reconnected with Yu Ye a month later.
But in reality, rescuing his daughter and returning to the Seven-Colored Shell shouldn’t take Yu Ye too long. So, asking him to help handle the Bloodthirsty Swordfish shouldn’t require a long wait.
‘First things first, time to cultivate.’
Bai Sha entered an unoccupied Cultivation Shell.
She was well-practiced in using it. After configuring its functions to her specifications, she began her cultivation.
In another corner of the Seven-Colored Shell…
Yin Sha felt regretful but turned to her three friends. “No one else is coming. It’ll just be us heading to the Water Jade Mine.”
“That friend you mentioned can’t make it?” the Blue-green Squid, Mo Hen, asked from beside her.
“Something came up, so she can’t come,” Yin Sha replied helplessly.
“Forget it then. The four of us will go to the Water Jade Mine,” Mo Hen said, not thinking much of it.
“Let’s go,” Yin Sha nodded.
And so, Yin Sha, along with Mo Hen, Hong Xing, and Hong Gang, headed out of the Seven-Colored Shell together.
In yet another corner of the Seven-Colored Shell, Yu Ye didn’t have to wait long before his friends arrived one by one.
After paying the Contribution Points required to formally enlist their help, Yu Ye spoke in a deep voice. “This time, aside from rescuing my daughter, I also intend to claim an Ancient Forbidden Artifact as spoils of war. I hope no one here will make this difficult for me.”
The Demon Cultivators Yu Ye had invited, who came in all manner of shapes and forms, all readily agreed.
