A cool sea breeze swept across the beach as the midday sun shone down on the deep blue waters, making them sparkle. Students cheered as they dashed into the sea, their white legs flashing and skirts fluttering amid sprays of water that left winding trails on the surface.
The golden sand was dotted with footprints, while other students lounged under umbrellas, watching the fun. Laughter like tinkling bells filled the air everywhere.
Liang Sheng had finally recovered a bit. She sat curled up under a parasol, fanning herself.
Liang Sheng wore a sea-blue sailor-style swimsuit with her light green hair tied into two cute buns, one on each side of her head. Her swim skirt was short, exposing her fair, long legs. This outfit was fairly modest—at least her top reached all the way up to her navel.
Take Song An’an, for example. She had on a pale pink polka-dot swimsuit with a swim skirt like Liang Sheng’s, but her top was completely different—very revealing, almost like the kind of undergarment girls wore beneath their everyday clothes.
“So hot, A-Sheng~” Song An’an leaned her head on Liang Sheng’s shoulder and clung to her arm, acting all spoiled. “Let’s go play in the sea~ Pretty please~?” She was incredibly clingy.
It wasn’t that hot… Liang Sheng gauged the weather.
“I…” Liang Sheng started to refuse.
“A-Sheng~” Song An’an hugged her arm tighter, even letting Liang Sheng cop a feel. “Ahem, cough cough.” Liang Sheng covered her mouth with her fist and coughed a few times. With Song An’an being this forward, it would seem unreasonable to say no now.
Liang Sheng stood up. A sea breeze blew past, chasing away a hint of stuffiness. She spread her arms, tilted her head with a hooked smile, and beckoned to Song An’an with a finger. “Come on over. I’ll play with you.”
Ah! Why is A-Sheng so beautiful! I want to marry her! Song An’an stared in a daze.
“Ding~” Favorability increased.
“Song An’an’s Favorability towards Liang Sheng: 100+”
Song An’an scrambled up with a joyful roll and latched onto Liang Sheng’s arm again, dragging her toward the sea. She could hardly wait.
Near the water’s edge, the sand was wet and stuck to her tender little feet with every step.
Liang Sheng got yanked right into the sea with a splash by Song An’an. She flailed wildly in panic, yelling nonstop, “I can’t swim, I can’t swim, aaah… glug glug glug…” Her mouth gaped so wide that seawater rushed into her nose. The bold sounds of her gulping it down had the gusto of an ancient warrior chugging wine! Once finished, she’d slam the barrel down and bellow, “Good stuff!”
But Liang Sheng couldn’t do that. The salty seawater filled her mouth and nose, stinging her nerves and making her brain reel. It even crossed her mind: Is there someone around here who hasn’t bathed in days? At that thought, nausea hit her (You’re choking like this and still have time to think about that?).
“A… A-Sheng.” Song An’an suddenly spoke up.
“Actually… actually, if you just stand up, you won’t choke…”
A barrage of question marks. Do you have a lot of friends?
Only then did Liang Sheng realize she was sitting cross-legged in the water. Who else could she blame but herself!
She stood up awkwardly. The water only came up to her waist. This… whatever, no big deal. It wasn’t the first time she’d made a fool of herself. As the story goes, habit breeds nature.
Song An’an looked Liang Sheng up and down and asked, “A-Sheng, you really can’t swim?” Liang Sheng nodded. She truly couldn’t—a total landlubber. Even the dog at home could paddle around with a doggy style if thrown in water. Her? Straight to the bottom.
“Then… then I’ll teach you!” Song An’an felt a little flutter of excitement inside. If she taught Liang Sheng, An’an would surely thank her and like her even more. What a great chance to grow closer.
But she overlooked one thing: she couldn’t swim either. She just floundered around with a little yellow duck floatie.
Feeling embarrassed, she told Liang Sheng she’d go find someone who could swim to teach them both.
Once Song An’an left, Liang Sheng started daydreaming idly.
Could Senior Sister Gu Yuqi swim? Liang Sheng looked around but didn’t spot her. When she gazed farther out, she suddenly noticed a group of girls clustered together, seemingly around someone in the middle.
As they drew closer, Liang Sheng saw that the person in the center was indeed Gu Yuqi. She wore a conservative black swimsuit that fully covered her chest and navel. Well… no eye candy there.
On second thought, something felt off. Senior Sister Gu was surrounded by all those girls, but she wasn’t coming to find Liang Sheng! And she was smiling so happily! Liang Sheng whipped her head away in a huff, her cheeks puffing out like a frog’s. She wouldn’t even acknowledge Gu Yuqi anymore! Such a flirt! Total player!
With a splash near Liang Sheng’s ear, she turned toward the sound and saw a black-haired girl with her hair pinned up swimming gracefully through the water. Hmm, she looked familiar. Liang Sheng walked a bit toward her.
The black-haired girl noticed someone approaching and stopped. She looked up, seawater sliding down her mature, stern face, droplets clinging to her lashes.
Ah… it was Senior Sister An Hua, in a black swimsuit unlike Gu Yuqi’s—very revealing. From this angle looking down, Liang Sheng could even glimpse some indescribable sights on her chest. Wow, feast for the eyes! Drool nearly slipped from her mouth.
“You…” Without her glasses, An Hua seemed to shed a layer of icy reserve. Her peach-tinted lips pouted slightly, adding a touch of sexiness and allure.
An Hua was severely nearsighted; everything was blurry. She squinted hard but still couldn’t make out the person before her. So she stood up and leaned in close for a better look.
Seeing the beauty draw near, the mischievously inclined Liang Sheng didn’t hesitate. She leaned in too, their faces inches apart, and smiled slyly. “Senior Sister An Hua, you’re getting more and more forward, aren’t you~?”
An Hua jolted back in surprise and plopped into the water with a splash.
“You!” As An Hua opened her mouth to speak, Liang Sheng closed in again. She raised her index finger to An Hua’s forehead and trailed it downward, tickling all the way. When it reached the tip of her nose, An Hua finally let out a stifled hum, her face flushing—whether from the sun or embarrassment, who could say.
“Ding~” Favorability increased.
“An Hua’s Favorability towards Liang Sheng: 31”
As the finger slid to her neck, Liang Sheng noticed An Hua biting her lip hard, her face a mix of bliss and desperate restraint.
“Heh~” Liang Sheng chuckled softly. “Senior Sister, you’re not hoping I’ll keep going lower, are you? Any further down, and it’d be…” right onto that chest fat of yours.
An Hua snapped to her senses and shoved Liang Sheng away. With a splash, she dunked her whole body underwater, only bubbles rising to prove she was still there.
“Ding~” Favorability increased.
“An Hua’s Favorability towards Liang Sheng: 35”
Oh ho, so that’s how it is~
An Hua couldn’t hold her breath any longer and surfaced.
Liang Sheng leaned down to whisper in her ear, her soft voice tickling An Hua’s ear and turning her face red again. “So the prim and proper Senior Sister An Hua is all an act~ Deep down, you’re just a masochist who loves being teased, aren’t you, Senior Sister~?”
“Ding~” Favorability increased.
“An Hua’s Favorability towards Liang Sheng: 41”
An Hua shivered all over, her skin flushing pink. Mortified, she covered her face and ignored Liang Sheng.
Only up to this much favorability? Liang Sheng wasn’t satisfied. She racked her brain, smirked wickedly, stepped forward, and wrapped an arm around An Hua’s waist, nuzzling into her neckline.
“You… what are you doing!” An Hua panicked and tried to flee the scene.
Liang Sheng didn’t give her the chance. Quick as a flash, she leaned in and nipped at Senior Sister An Hua’s tender neckline.
“Ah~!” Tears sprang to An Hua’s eyes from the pain, but a strange sensation spread through her heart. It hurt, yet… why did it feel a bit… pleasurable?
“Ding!” Favorability rose sharply.
“An Hua’s Favorability towards Liang Sheng: 53”
An Hua shoved Liang Sheng away hard and fled in panic, clutching her neck with tears welling in her eyes.
Liang Sheng watched An Hua’s retreating figure and smiled. Looked like there’d be plenty of fun ahead.
An Hua fled to a distant stretch of beach and lowered her head, savoring the feeling of being toyed with earlier. Really, truly, from childhood to now, this was the first time she’d felt this happy.
She touched the bite mark on her neckline and flushed with shame again.
Darn it, why didn’t she tell Liang Sheng she was looking forward to it? Then she’d have kept going lower. Why didn’t she admit to being two-faced when Liang Sheng called her out? If she had, the teasing would have intensified. Why push her away after the bite? If she’d accepted… it could have continued.
An Hua startled herself with these sudden thoughts and shook her head frantically to banish the scary idea. If the perfect facade she’d maintained for so many years shattered, she’d be done for. Not only would others look at her differently, but her family too… An Hua’s eyes dimmed as she rubbed her hands anxiously.
Meanwhile, Liang Sheng’s “affair” had been witnessed entirely by the returning Song An’an. She stomped over furiously, eyes red-rimmed and on the verge of tears as she grabbed Liang Sheng’s arm.
It was all her fault for leaving A-Sheng. If she hadn’t, that little fox spirit wouldn’t have come to seduce her… No, it wasn’t her fault—it was that little fox spirit’s, seducing A-Sheng when she knew she belonged to An’an.
Liang Sheng jumped in fright. She’d stirred up trouble again. At a loss, she gently ruffled Song An’an’s hair and soothed her softly. “Don’t cry, don’t cry. What’s wrong? Who bullied my little princess?” She knew exactly what was up.
Song An’an burst into tears with a wail. Once this little crybaby started, it was like a flood bursting its banks—impossible to stop. Liang Sheng had no idea how to coax her. Gritting her teeth, she grabbed Song An’an’s head and planted a firm kiss on her forehead.
She didn’t know if it would work, but Song An’an’s crying was driving her nuts.
“Wah… huh?” Song An’an’s sobs cut off abruptly. She blinked in confusion at Liang Sheng, unsure how to process the shift.
“Wah… kiss kiss kiss!” She cried again, this time from thrilled excitement. A-Sheng had kissed her!
Liang Sheng groaned inwardly as the flood restarted just when it had stopped. Her head throbbed. She asked, “My little aunt granny, what on earth is wrong with you?”
