“We’ve got class tomorrow! Come on, get out and go to sleep!” Liang Sheng threw out a random excuse and started shoving the little yandere Hana, who was still sprawled on top of her.
Hana refused to budge from atop her. “Sheng-chan~ The time’s too short~ Stay in the bath with me a little longer~”
Darn it! A little longer and it wouldn’t be us bathing together anymore—it’d just be you soaking me! It felt kinda nice, sure, but Liang Sheng still wanted to escape this hotbed of trouble as quickly as possible.
“Haha,” Liang Sheng laughed awkwardly, clutching her head. Her acting was a bit clumsy right now. “Ah, this bath’s making my head spin. I can’t take it anymore—I gotta get out, or I’ll end up with a headache later.”
With that, Liang Sheng shoved Hana off with all her might, then immediately plastered on a smile. “Hana, if you wanna keep soaking, go ahead. I’m heading out! I’ll do my nighttime routine and wait for you in bed. Hurry up, okay?”
The green-haired girl scrambled out of the tub like her life depended on it.
Hana pouted unhappily, splashing some water around a few times before standing up as well. “If Sheng-chan’s done washing, then Hana’s done too. Hana will do her routine with Sheng-chan and go to sleep~”
Sigh, this clingy little thing. Liang Sheng rubbed her forehead helplessly.
“Here, this is a new toothbrush for you. And this is your fresh towel—hang it right next to mine, okay? Don’t mix them up.” Liang Sheng finished squeezing toothpaste onto the brush and pointed out the items she’d prepared for Hana.

“Wow~ Sheng-chan’s already planning for me to live here long-term~?” Hana grabbed her towel with delight, convinced that her beloved Sheng-chan wanted them to live together forever.
Those words made Liang Sheng’s heart sink with guilt and discomfort. After all, she’d only invited Hana to move in to use her for her own purposes.
“Uh, yeah…” Time for a more normal response.
“I already told you, Hana~ I’ve been having nightmares lately, and I’m scared to sleep alone~” Liang Sheng nodded obsequiously. “Having you sleep next to me makes me feel so safe, that’s why I asked you to come over~”
Well played—that line hadn’t offended the little yandere, showed trust and dependence, and even laid the groundwork for asking her to leave later if needed.

Sure enough, Hana ate up every word.
After dawdling through brushing their teeth and washing their faces, Liang Sheng slipped under the covers in a flash.
Seeing the green-haired girl’s adorable move melted Hana’s heart, a blush spreading across her face that she couldn’t hide.
“Mmm~ Sheng-chan~ Hana’s done washing too~” Hana had changed into Liang Sheng’s pajamas and sat on the edge of the bed. “Does Sheng-chan want to sleep on the inside or the outside~?”
“Uh, inside? No no no, better on the outside. Or… maybe inside after all?” Liang Sheng babbled incoherently.
Her hesitation came from the bed’s layout: the inside was by the window, the outside near the door. Either way felt risky to Liang Sheng. Whoever wanted to harm her could pry open the door or climb through the window.
The green-haired girl pondered for ten seconds before deciding. “I’ll sleep on the outside. You take the inside, Hana.”
Climbing through the window seemed more likely than picking two locks, especially since lock-picking would probably wake someone up. A window was far simpler.
Hana didn’t question it. All she wanted was to cuddle her beloved Sheng-chan and sleep. Thrilled to take the inside spot, she clambered onto the bed and burrowed under the covers.
The moment she was in, Hana wrapped her arms around Liang Sheng and buried her face in the crook of her neck. “Mmm~ It’s been so long since Hana slept with Sheng-chan~ Holding you feels amazing~ You smell so good~ Your body’s so soft~ Hugging you is the best~ Hana loves Sheng-chan the most~”
For Liang Sheng, Hana was probably the only woman who could say “love” so boldly, without a hint of shyness or evasion.
“Mm-hmm…” Liang Sheng felt itchy from the nuzzling, and Hana’s breath on her neck gave her goosebumps. She often hugged a body pillow to sleep, but she’d never been held this tightly by another person before.
After a moment, Liang Sheng sucked in a sharp breath. “Ow, Hana, you’re hugging too tight. I can’t breathe, and I won’t be able to sleep.”
In the darkness, Hana perked up like she’d been injected with adrenaline and lifted her head. “If Sheng-chan can’t sleep, how about doing some exercise with Hana~? You’ll get tired and fall asleep~”

“Come on, Hana, we’ve got school tomorrow. Hurry up and sleep, or we’ll be wiped out.” Liang Sheng trotted out the school excuse again—she’d never loved studying more than she did right now.

Just as it was about to hit the exciting part, right on the cusp of… well, entering the good stuff, Liang Sheng’s alarm jolted her awake.
Ugh~ She rolled over, irritably silencing the alarm, and blearily opened her eyes.
Damn that alarm—she’d actually been looking forward to continuing that weird dream.
“Wake up, Hana.” Liang Sheng patted the little yandere’s head, who was still clinging tightly to her.
Hana had woken the instant the alarm rang but pretended to sleep to savor a few more moments of cuddling.
But Liang Sheng was calling her now, so with great reluctance, she opened her eyes. “Mmm~ Good morning, Sheng-chan~”
“Morning,” Liang Sheng said, pointing at the clock. “Get up and get ready, or we’ll be late.”
“Fine…” It was the first time Hana hated school so much—going meant separating from the person she loved most.
The night had passed safely, but Liang Sheng doubted it would last much longer. Unease gnawed at her.
Even brushing her teeth, Hana leaned on Liang Sheng—a total human Band-Aid.
Luckily, their paths to school diverged, and Liang Sheng finally shook off the clingy girl.
