Hana had already descended into near madness, ignoring whatever the other woman was saying as she swung the knife and stabbed relentlessly.
Gu Yuqi realized things had taken a dire turn and bolted all the way home in a mad dash. This woman was far too dangerous! She had to escape fast.
It was a close call—several times, the knife tip grazed right past Gu Yuqi.
“Ah!” Hana suddenly let out a sharp scream.
Gu Yuqi halted her steps and, enduring the pain, flashed a smug smile. I’m not fighting you, but someone else will take care of you. Gu Yuqi’s trump card—calling in the bodyguards.
From the moment Hana had threatened her, Gu Yuqi had grasped the severity of the situation. The banquet last time had already shown that this woman had some mental issues. So Gu Yuqi had called in several bodyguards as a precaution.
Hana was just one person against eight burly bodyguards. No matter how strong she was, she couldn’t take them all down at once, right?
She was spot on. Even with her formidable fighting skills, Hana couldn’t hold out against so many. Though she managed to slash a few of their arms, she was ultimately subdued and pinned down hard.
Gu Yuqi pulled out her phone and dialed 110.
“What’s your family’s phone number?” Gu Yuqi looked down imperiously at Hana. Hana’s eyes bulged wide, as if they might pop out of her head. She said nothing, just glared murderously at her captor.
Gu Yuqi sneered coldly, clutching her wound as she shuffled slowly toward the front gate.
“Oh, right.” Gu Yuqi turned back suddenly. “Junior Sister Liang Sheng is quite fond of my face. What about yours?” Gu Yuqi’s hidden black-bellied side was now fully on display.
Hana’s pupils contracted sharply, her gaze burning with hatred toward Gu Yuqi. If the bodyguards let go now, she would probably charge forward and tear her apart.
Gu Yuqi flashed a provocative smile and turned, striding back into the villa with feigned nonchalance.
The moment she stepped through the door, the pain overwhelmed her, and she collapsed straight to the floor.
“Aunt Wang! Aunt Wang!” Gu Yuqi shouted at the top of her lungs.
“What’s wrong, Yuqi?” Aunt Wang came running over. She had served the Gu family for twenty years and treated Gu Yuqi like her own daughter.
“Ah!” Before Gu Yuqi could explain, Aunt Wang spotted the wound and trembled in fright. “What happened, Yuqi? How did this happen?!”
Gu Yuqi forced a smile. “Aunt Wang, grab the first aid kit quick. If it gets infected, it’ll be bad.”
“Right, right, right!” Aunt Wang nodded frantically. Too worried to ask questions, she rushed inside to fetch the kit.
Once Gu Yuqi had bandaged the wound, Aunt Wang finally caught up with her thoughts.
“Oh dear, my little ancestor! Why didn’t you go to the hospital?” Aunt Wang slapped her thigh in reproach.
Gu Yuqi shook her head. She didn’t want this getting around. If her father found out, she’d get an earful for sure.
“So… what happened?”
Gu Yuqi let out a little “hehe” chuckle. “Just ran into a crazy person. No worries, I’ve called the cops. The police will haul her off soon, and we won’t see her around anymore.” Liang Sheng wouldn’t have to deal with this lunatic either. Gu Yuqi had effectively squashed the pest lurking around Liang Sheng. Satisfied, she smiled to herself—unaware that her mindset right now rivaled Hana’s yandere obsession.
Back at home, Liang Sheng sat sneezing hard. Looks like the yandere’s fantasizing about me again. Sigh, what a headache.
The next day, Liang Sheng poked her head around the classroom door, lingering nervously and afraid to go in, dreading a run-in with Hana.
“What are you doing?!” A loud voice boomed from behind.
“Ah! Shit!” Liang Sheng jumped in shock. Turning around, she found Dong Yue eyeing her up and down.
Whoosh—Favorability dropped.
“Dong Yue’s Favorability toward Liang Sheng: 15”
“Such language from a young lady.” Dong Yue shot Liang Sheng a stern glare. “Don’t let me hear it again.”
Liang Sheng nodded vigorously, swearing she’d never do it again. She then glanced at Dong Yue’s profile.
“Name: Dong Yue

Figures… Sigh, the world of cultured folks is beyond me. Liang Sheng shook her head with a sigh.
“What are you standing around for? Get in the classroom—class starts soon.” Dong Yue cradled her books, checked her watch, and urged Liang Sheng inside.
Liang Sheng swallowed hard, sneaking a glance at Hana’s empty seat with her peripheral vision. Only then did she relax a bit and head to her own desk.
After one class, with Hana still absent, Liang Sheng was thrilled. Had the yandere fallen for someone else? Or maybe she’d come down with a serious illness and couldn’t make it? Oh! My great gods—Jade Emperor, Queen Mother, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Jesus, God Almighty! Liang Sheng rattled off a jumbled prayer, oblivious to how bizarre it sounded.
—— —— ——
“Junior Sister Liang Sheng, come out here a moment.”
After the third period, Gu Yuqi suddenly appeared outside Liang Sheng’s classroom.
“What’s up, Senior Sister Yuqi?!” Liang Sheng scampered over happily, only to notice Gu Yuqi’s face looked rather pale.
Liang Sheng gazed at her worriedly. “Senior Sister Yuqi, what’s wrong? You look…”
Gu Yuqi leaned weakly against the wall, coughing lightly a few times. “Cough cough… Ah, forget it. Never mind.” This was reverse psychology at work.
“What is it, really?!” Every time Liang Sheng saw Gu Yuqi’s stunningly handsome face, she lost her senses. Seeing it so pale now broke her heart!
Gu Yuqi sighed. “That new transfer student in your class… she… she…”
“She hurt you?!” Liang Sheng blurted out excitedly. She knew that yandere spelled trouble!
“Sigh… Yeah, a huge gash on my arm. It hurts so much.” Gu Yuqi winced, clutching her injured arm.
Liang Sheng’s anger flared. “I’m going to give her a piece of my mind!”
Gu Yuqi watched Liang Sheng’s puffed-up cheeks and pouty lips—adorable as ever. A surge of smug satisfaction welled up inside her. See? She really matters to Liang Sheng.
Reaching out, Gu Yuqi grabbed Liang Sheng’s arm and pulled her into an embrace. Taking advantage of their height difference, she rested her chin atop Liang Sheng’s head. Her lips curved up as she wrapped her arm around Liang Sheng’s waist, her tone soft and soothing. “I’m fine. Don’t go—she’s too dangerous. I don’t want her hurting you. I can handle this myself.”
Boom! Liang Sheng exploded on the spot. Too seductive! Way too seductive! Who could resist a woman like this?!
“S-Senior… Sister Yuqi.” Liang Sheng’s face flushed red. The surprise hit so suddenly that her legs turned to jelly, trembling uncontrollably.
Oh no, oh no—she was done for! Her brain was fried, her rational system crashing hard!
