Chapter 4: Elf
That was fine by her; she preferred a bit of quiet anyway.
Yier Meng was, after all, still the sovereign of the Yeling Empire. In her current state, if someone were to strike up a conversation with her, she truly wouldn’t know whether to lash out or be polite.
If she were surrounded by girls, her temper might hold. But if it were boys, a horrifying incident involving the trampling of the motherland’s budding flowers might occur.
“Hm? A sound…”
Yier Meng’s ears twitched, catching a faint, rustling noise.
There shouldn’t be any students in a classroom on Holy Radiance Day. Could it be a thief? Or an intruder?
Then again, if it were a thief, anyone daring to steal from this place must not want to see tomorrow’s sun.
But if it were an intruder from another kingdom, Holy Radiance Day was indeed an opportune time to make a move.
If it were the latter, however, Yier Meng couldn’t just stand by and watch. Although her magical power was much weaker than before, with the learning aptitude of her former self—the sovereign of the Yeling Empire—using magic to trounce an ordinary high-ranking demon would still be no problem.
After some thought, Yier Meng pushed the door open and went in.
Of course, she only opened it a crack, keeping her movements as quiet as possible, wanting to see just who this person was.
The moment she looked, she couldn’t tear her eyes away.
The girl inside was taking off her skirt and trying to pull out some kind of strange rod, intending to insert it into a certain place.
And it seemed a small, oval-shaped object was already stuffed inside that tiny piece of fabric.
The girl’s back was to her, and the curtains were drawn, so Yier Meng couldn’t get a clear look at her face. But based on her experience, if that thing were truly inserted, it would be very damaging to the body.
As a teacher with integrity, she had to put a stop to this behavior, no matter what.
Seeing the girl make noises, hesitating for a long time over whether to insert it or not, Yier Meng knew this must be her first time. Therefore, if she intervened now, there was still hope of reversing these budding ideas in the student.
“Excuse me! Student!”
After thinking for a moment, she decided to call out first to stop her.
“Ah!” Startled by the sudden voice, the girl seemed to jump. The rod slipped from her grasp and, with a clatter, rolled towards Yier Meng.
Finally, the rod came to a stop at Yier Meng’s feet.
Mm, it’s quite large.
She then saw the girl turn around, an expression of utter anguish on her face, as if her world had just ended.
She had a pair of fair, beautiful legs, a very well-endowed chest, and lovely, flame-colored hair that fell to her waist. A misty vapor swirled within her crimson eyes.
A suspicious blush stained the girl’s cheeks, a flush so deep it crept all the way up to the tips of her long, pointed elven ears.
And at the location of that oval-shaped bulge, a faint buzzing vibration could still be seen.
“You there, student…”
Yier Meng called out, lifting her foot to step forward.
“Don’t come any closer!” the elf girl immediately shouted, stopping her.
She eyed Yier Meng with extreme vigilance, looking as if she would start clawing wildly like a cornered cat if Yier Meng took another step. Or perhaps, if pushed too far, she would just jump out the window and run, skirt or no skirt.
In a world with magic, that height probably wasn’t enough to cause any serious injury anyway.
But either of those outcomes was something Yier Meng wished to avoid.
The former would mean her student would be unable to open her heart, leading her down a path of self-destruction and ruin. As for the latter, being seen by others in her current emotional state would be incredibly humiliating. If it were other girls, it might be fine, but if it were boys, her student could still be hurt.
Although she hadn’t become a teacher of her own free will, every teacher bears a sense of responsibility toward their students.
