Chapter 39 p1:
With a creak, the door was opened a crack. The previously intermittent heat now rushed in, enveloping the hesitant little octopus, and the scent of magnolia grew stronger.
Her tentacles hesitated on the floor. Even with the entry ticket in hand, she was still a little hesitant.
The sound of water stopped and then continued, with no other sound coming out, as if she had forgotten about Li An outside and was continuing on her own.
Another petal fell from the flower in the vase, piling up into a small mound on the floor.
The little octopus agonized for a long time and finally took a step with one tentacle.
The tiled floor was covered in a layer of water, and when the tentacle landed, it created a shattered flower.
The little octopus did not go in, but the crack in the door was pushed open a little, making a sharp creaking sound.
Ji Yulin seemed not to have heard. The shower head did not slow down, and the rain-like water wove into a white net, completely enveloping her.
In the faint visibility, she could actually see more clearly.
Ji Yulin was beautiful, not just her features, but even the places that were usually covered by a white lab coat were flawless.
Her slender frame supported her beautiful skin. Her pale skin was flushed red from the steam, and the remaining marks were still there. As time passed, they had settled into a deeper color, like a delicate, satin-like black baccara rose, the deep purple under the red intertwined with the faint blush left by the little octopus, like a complicated and grotesque tattoo, twisting her cold temperament, inexplicably adding a hint of strangeness.
A tentacle silently slid through the accumulated water and then hooked her slender ankle.
Ji Yulin paid it no mind, tilting her head back to let the water fall.
The hooked tentacle did not move up but remained in place, like a peach-pink leather ankle bracelet, turning a deeper red in the hot water of the shower.
Suddenly, a clap of thunder was heard from outside. It seemed to have been brewing since the day. The stuffy temperature was like a heat wave, making the few trees wilt.
But everything that had happened in the evening was too much, too fast, too chaotic, making people ignore the weather, not realizing that a storm was gathering.
Until this moment, the thunder pried open the door lock, and the heavy rain fell.
It was raining outside, and it was raining inside.
Softer than the tentacles was the underside of the tentacles. It had not experienced much friction. It had swum in the ocean, and after coming ashore, it was either held or carried by Ji Yulin, or it wore shoes and walked a few steps.
So, the place that should have been rough was overly smooth and tender, gently wrapping around the round bone of her ankle, as if it were polishing a fine piece of mutton-fat jade, warming the cool skin until it was hot, and smearing it with a glistening liquid.
She longed to get closer but hesitated to push open the door.
Ji Yulin.
A suppressed and restrained thought sounded, clearly expressing all the emotions within.
Ji Yulin, Ji Yulin.
A repeated murmur, but not a plea.
Professor,
Master.
The form of address changed, and the tentacles wrapped even tighter, leaving a faint red circle.
Desire was spreading, and with each slow, heavy breath, it dissipated a little.
Mine, mine.
A repeated emphasis, but it was no longer the childish voice of the tentacles.
Professor, Master, Ji Yulin.
The last word was drawn out, almost sighed out: Mama.
The bound ankle moved, and was then wrapped even tighter. The previous forms of address were no longer repeated, but were replaced by one “Mama” after another.
The accumulated water on the floor grew deeper, almost submerging her feet, and overflowed out the door, forming a puddle that swallowed the octopus.
She still did not step in. Instead, memories flooded back, replaying over and over again.
This had happened many times. Since she had woken up, she had fallen into the hunter’s carefully woven trap.
From the beginning, she had felt nothing, only avoiding it, her mind filled with the thought that her bad deeds would be discovered.
Then there was the misunderstanding on the ship, the splashing in the bathroom, but she had only thought it was a rare opportunity, a time to jump out the window.
And then that annoying little yellow duck.
She didn’t know when it had become different.
Li An was a little dazed. The chaotic memories were strung together, but they did not lead her to the right answer. Instead, she became more and more confused, as if she had fallen into a tangled mess.
The water stopped for a moment. Ji Yulin reached for the shower gel. A tentacle eagerly wanted to help, but when it let go, it was stepped on.
Li An was stunned for a moment and was immediately pulled from her memories.
The woman seemed not to know how outrageous she was being. She squeezed it twice as usual, and the foam in her cupped hands was then spread from her neck down.
A tentacle struggled, but was afraid of pulling Ji Yulin down, so it could only unwillingly sink into the water, lifting a soft tip and constantly poking her ankle.
Ji Yulin ignored her. The hunter who had been constantly luring her had already waited for the prey to willingly enter the net. The positions of active and passive were reversed. The anxious one had become the one outside the door. She, on the other hand, was unhurried, like a mischievous fox.
The foam fell, splashing on the tentacles. Her bare feet intentionally or unintentionally ground against them, crushing the colorful bubbles.
Occasionally, she would slip, and before she could sway, she would be hooked by a tentacle. After she was steady, the tentacle would press back against the floor, unbelievably obedient.
Ji Yulin lowered her eyes to look, then silently retracted her gaze.
A baseless tug-of-war thus continued in silence.
The octopus on the door tilted her head, and the door creaked open again. The tug-of-war, which had not been going on for long, thus sounded the horn of surrender.
Another tentacle also probed in, hooking Ji Yulin’s wrist, and then moved up, taking on the task of spreading the foam.
It served her meticulously, even using an extra tentacle to scoop up her scattered hair, and did not neglect the places Ji Yulin had already lathered, from her neck down, spreading it evenly.
Ji Yulin tilted her head back, the throbbing pulse in her neck clear. Before she could see clearly, she was wrapped in a tentacle, leaving a faint round mark.
She seemed to have become the one who was controlled, but in reality, she had always been in control. The anxious tentacle had just reached her collarbone and was about to go down when Ji Yulin stepped on it with more force, and the little octopus became completely obedient.
She was still no match for the shameless her of her previous life. In this life, she obediently accepted Ji Yulin’s control.
The rain was still falling outside. It had come with a vengeance, pattering down. In just a little while, the ground was covered in a shallow pool of water.
But this was also good. The smell of burning from the two riots was washed away by the heavy rain.
Because of the instinct etched in their bones, humans would always feel fear in the face of extreme weather. But now it had become a calming agent for those who were anxious, soothing their panicked emotions.
The window was pulled shut, and the sound was blocked. One by one, the lights were turned off, and sleep followed.
The lights in the villa were still on. The bathroom was still lit by a warm light, making the silhouette on the glass door even clearer.
But Li An still did not dare to step in. A line separated the inside and outside of the door, making her not dare to act rashly.
The tentacle finally could go down, climbing up and then falling, back and forth several times. The foam was ground very fine, leaving only a few small, broken bubbles that covered most of the roundness. In the next second, it was swatted away by a tentacle and fell to the floor with a plop.
Only this ancestor would dare to be so reckless, not knowing how precious these things were in the post-apocalyptic world. But even if she knew, it didn’t matter. Who told the person the tentacle was hugging to be so rich?
However, the reason Li An had become so spoiled was definitely because of the ever-indulgent Ji Yulin.
The fruit she had planted herself, of course, she had to savor it herself.
Another petal fell, and the small mound was finally broken, collapsing suddenly.
The intricate red marks were filled with a new color. Since this afternoon, she had been trying to cover them. The new pattern was pressed on top of the old, and the colors overlapped, making it even more bewitching.
Intentionally or unintentionally, it slid past a certain spot. Ji Yulin trembled, and in the next second, a tentacle wrapped around her waist and gently pressed her against the wall.
And the tentacle that had been stepped on, which could have taken the opportunity to slip out, instead lifted and wrapped around her bare foot.
On the surface, it looked cautious, but in reality, it was a silent possession, the malice etched in her bones still there.
Mama,
The voice was even lighter, but it was also low and hoarse, unable to conceal the desire within.
The foam slid over her toned abdomen, and then covered a certain spot. A tentacle paused, then obediently continued down.
The upper hand slowly shifted, falling into the hands of Li An outside the door.
Her breathing was a little fast. The few remaining tentacles slapped the floor, looking very anxious. They also wanted to go in but were held in place by Li An.
Want, also want,
Go in.
Together, go in,
The unwilling, childish voices sounded one after another, but they were never allowed, and could only huff and puff, hooking the floor.
When it came to serving people, Li An had little experience. But fortunately, there was Ji Yulin. Having been spoiled by this person so much, she had naturally learned a little and was not clumsy.
The shower head was turned on again. In the splashing water, the foam was washed away along her curves, but the slickness did not decrease, making the tentacles almost slip several times, but they would wag their tails and stick back on.
Mama,
A repeated voice. Ji Yulin did not respond. When she tilted her head back, the water droplets scattered, and her whole body was shrouded in a blurry, soft light.
Perhaps because the function of hosting distinguished guests had been considered early on, the villa’s bathroom was very large. White tiles covered the walls and floor, and there was a bathtub on the side. But Ji Yulin preferred to shower. Except for accompanying a certain octopus, she had never used it.
