21. The Popular Mommy
Reina didn’t continue the test. The two of them, with Celes, took a return carriage with the Blood Queen Sophia to the blood race’s royal palace.
The Gothic-style castle, under the cover of a blood-red sky barrier, was strange and grotesque. A few bats circled the top of the spire, hanging upside down from the eaves and watching the “passengers” getting off the carriage with their crimson pupils.
Although, compared to the Dragon King’s Palace, there was a large gap in both area and volume, the blood race’s territory, rich in history, was still a fantasy-like existence.
“Greetings, Your Majesty, the Blood Queen.”
At the door, blood servants dressed as maids stood in a row.
A closer look revealed that these maids all had small wings on their heads.
The small bats flying in the sky were probably transformed from these maids.
“Yes, thank you.” Sophia waved her hand, and her fresh little skirt transformed into a gorgeous red long dress, with a red rose decoration on the strap tied to her thigh, which was surging with a charming crimson light.
Interestingly,
These maids, while serving as the main defensive force, also acted as butlers and servants, taking care of Sophia’s daily life. A portion of them were Sophia’s “concubines.”
Unlike Calysia, Sophia, as a member of the blood race, was not bound by the dragon race’s concept of love. She had a total of 91 concubines.
If Sophia weren’t a member of the blood race, Reina would have firmly believed that she was a woman with a chaotic private life.
“How long is the lifespan of the blood race?”
Calysia asked.
“If there are no accidents, you will rarely see the elderly state of the blood race. If the other party is strong enough, they can maintain their youth forever.”
Sophia said with a smile:
Although they were both long-lived races, there was a difference between the dragon race and the blood race.
Their concept of love, and their desire for reproduction.
“The reason why little sister Reina has gained so many fans is because you have exported the dragon race’s concept of love. Now many blood race members are your fans.”
“Concept of love?” Celes learned a new word.
Although it was said casually, Sophia would also smile and look at the dragon on Reina’s head as she walked:
“Yes, the blood race doesn’t have the same desires as the dragon race, nor do they have a concept of love. Even though the dragon race’s birth rate is extremely low, the two who stay together for a long time will still dedicate their lives to each other and lay many dragon eggs at once.”
Reina felt that she was alluding to her.
“But the blood race is different. Blood race members of different ages and periods may not have any desires for hundreds of years, and those who do have desires may not be able to meet or fall in love with each other.”
In short, Sophia was not in love with anyone at the moment.
In the words of the blood race, this was the greatest period of plainness.
Perhaps, in the next hundred years, she would have considerations in this regard.
“But this is not necessarily a bad thing.”
The crimson full moon outside the window appeared clear under the projection of the barrier, and every detail and corner could be seen. The crimson light made Sophia’s fair face look a little soft, and her vertical eyes looked particularly demonic at this moment.
She first waited for the family of three to sit on the sofa, then crossed her stunning legs and sat on a chair not far away, her fingers interlaced.
The blood servants began to pour tea and brought some cute little snacks, with a Q-version image of a bat on them.
“Hahaha, don’t mind. This is Sandra’s interest~ Let’s continue our topic.”
“Precisely because we can’t fall in love with each other, and our population can’t be increased through normal means, the former kings of the blood race made great changes to avoid population loss. For twenty thousand years, the blood race has not experienced any civil war and has developed peacefully.”
“The God of Light [teleported] our territory along with the continent to a distant space. For us, it wasn’t all bad… Although we lost the way to increase our population by converting other races, we also welcomed peace.”
“It wasn’t until Kribi’s beastman army slaughtered our compatriots that we realized that the blood race was in an unprecedented crisis.”
It was inevitable for the blood race to side with the dragon race.
In the next few hundred years, the blood race would bear the pain of war.
Similarly, hatred would always exist.
This was also something Sophia often wrote in her heart, something Reina needed to pay attention to.
“We’ve always had a concept. Why didn’t the Goddess of Light suppress the Four Realms, but instead expelled them? It wasn’t just to protect humanity, but also to protect the Four Realms.”
“Oh?” Reina’s expression was playful.
“If humanity has the [death-exemption gold medal] of the Goddess of Light, with their reproductive speed and growth rate, as well as their talent for learning magic, they will eventually eliminate our dragon race and blood race…”
“This is also the reason why little sister Reina’s concept of love is so popular. It’s not without reason that she can become the leader of the Four Realms.”
Reina was a little embarrassed.
“As you can see, I just want to take care of my baby now. I don’t have any improper thoughts. But if it’s for the peace of the world, I’ll do my part.”
“You really are a peace-loving being. As expected of someone who can represent the dragon race~”
“No, I also have my own selfish intentions. I’m not that holy.”
The gods are dead.
In Reina’s plan, although it was sudden and a coincidence, both Mura and Sophia would become her subordinates.
This way, by completely taking over the two territories of the dark elves and the blood race, her hundred-year plan would be half successful.
“Little sister Reina isn’t the God of Light. A perfect saint doesn’t exist. After all, you’re not some Goddess of Light.”
Reina just smiled: “You flatter me~”
“So, it makes sense that the target of the fan meeting is the whole world. By the way, how do you notify your fans?”
“Fans!” Celes cheered, not knowing if she had learned a new word or was just happy for Reina.
Reina’s eyes flickered: “Humans and elves both have their own clubs. I’ve already sent people to the clubs to spread the news, and to open more free portal channels. On the dragon race’s side, I’ve asked Ann and the Twelve Dragons to help.”
“Leave that to me,” Sophia said confidently.
The fan meeting arrived as scheduled a week later.
On the open field, the three-story wooden villa was packed with people.
If it could really be described as “packed with people”…
Not only inside the villa, but even the outside grounds were filled with people from all the races of the Four Realms.
Unlike the God Slaying Society, most of the people here were ordinary people.
She had originally thought that her fan meeting would be such a gentle and loving scene, and Reina laughed.
And walking out onto the balcony, looking at the sea of people on the open field, illuminated by fluorescent stones and attribute magic, she couldn’t help but smile.
What kind of fan meeting was this…
This was a large-scale concert!
“Reina, you really are like the Goddess of Light…” Calysia couldn’t help but complain. Her hand gently slipped into Reina’s dress and caressed Reina’s belly… it was for warmth, not to take advantage, that’s how Little Cal explained it.
“Ah, ah…”
Reina patted Celes on her head.
“I feel like faith is reappearing in a strange way!”
Seeing Reina on the balcony… or rather, Teacher Bud, the people below began to shout in unison, “Teacher Bud!”, which made Reina have to lower her head in embarrassment.
“Hehe~”
Celes let out a cute sound.
“Mommy is so popular.”
