Chapter 38: The Rice in Your Hand Seems More Fragrant
Xiao Feng and Xiao Hou exchanged a look. Xiao Hou shrugged, spread his hands, and said with a punchable expression, “I’ll listen to Sister Can’er.”
Xiao Feng rolled her eyes, ignored him, and followed behind Zhang Can’er.

“No need.” With that, Zhang Can’er reached out and snatched Wan Feng’s spoon, scooping up a spoonful of rice and vegetables and taking a bite.
Wan Feng stared at this scene in a daze. In her eyes, all of Zhang Can’er’s movements had slowed down, especially when her pink lips pressed against the spoon. Her heart beat faster and faster.
Her face turned red, her ears also turned red, and even her neck was tinged with pink.

Then she turned and put some of the vegetables she thought were good into Wan Feng’s bowl. Looking at the untouched food, she frowned and said, “You’re not disgusted with me, are you?”
Wan Feng’s eyes moved. She shook her head, picked up the spoon, and took a bite. But her ears couldn’t help but feel hot. Needless to say, they must be red. She suddenly felt that she was very useless. Wasn’t this just an interaction between good friends? Why was she still so shy?

After eating, the group took turns keeping watch. Zhang Can’er and Wan Feng were on the first watch.
Both of them were a bit tired. Zhang Can’er couldn’t hold on and fell asleep in Wan Feng’s arms.
The next morning, after eating, they set off.
After two consecutive days of travel, they could finally vaguely see the city walls of Starshine City. But the distance was still far. After all, they were taking small paths, which was equivalent to taking a detour.
At night, the group found a dilapidated house. The family of three behind them also followed them in.
Xiao Feng rolled her eyes and snorted coldly, but she still closed the door gently. After all, it wasn’t like there were no Mutants around here.
