Chapter 53: The Wedding Night
Knock, knock, knock!
A knock sounded at the door.
“Who is it?” Liu Yunhe’s voice came from within.
“It’s me!”
“Oh!” She immediately went to open the door. When she was home alone, she was always very cautious. Even if she knew it was Muchun, she had to hear her voice.
With a creak, the door was opened from the inside. Liu Yunhe, wearing a red nightgown, came to open the door. Against the bright red, her slender, fair calves were faintly visible, instantly capturing Muchun’s attention. She quickly locked the door.
“How was it? Did you find her?” Liu Yunhe’s voice was a little lazy, probably from sleepiness.
“I found her. She was almost tricked and sold,” Muchun said, taking off her clothes and washing her hands, wearing only her nightgown.
“What happened?” Hearing this, Liu Yunhe’s sleepiness vanished, and she asked curiously.
“She’s been getting very close to a woman recently. It turns out that person wanted to introduce her to a man in his thirties to be his wife.”
“Ah? How could that be?” Liu Yunhe was startled. What kind of mess was this?
Muchun’s gaze fell on Liu Yunhe’s face, chest, waist, and beautiful legs. She felt that this beautiful night should not be wasted. She walked over to Liu Yunhe, who was still sighing with emotion.
She carried her horizontally and said, “We’ll talk about her affairs tomorrow. Let’s rest first. It’s too late.”
One step, two steps, she placed her in the soft, thick quilt, and then got in herself.
The moment Liu Yunhe touched the bedding, she felt that the room was too hot, her breath coming in short gasps.
After Muchun lay down, she covered the two of them with the quilt and stuck to Liu Yunhe like a piece of sticky candy.
“Mmph… mm…” Liu Yunhe was breathless from her kisses, and the large, thick quilt blocked out the candlelight from outside.
Her soft, slender fingers mischievously fumbled into Muchun’s nightgown.
Muchun kneaded her in her arms like a piece of dough. She suddenly pulled open the collar of the red wedding robe, revealing the beauty’s slick, fragrant shoulders, and slowly moved over her neck and shoulders, leaving light red marks.
Liu Yunhe closed her eyes and panted under the quilt, feeling very hot. She tried to dodge backwards, her little face peeking out from the quilt to feel the cool air outside.
A moist touch enveloped the petals of the mandarin duck, pulling her wandering attention back, forcing her to let out a soft moan.
Her long hair was spread out, her spring-water-like eyes shining brightly. She shyly moved her gaze to the side of the floral candle to distract herself, but her waist was caught by a long, slender hand.
Slowly moving downwards…!
The bright red nightgown, in the candlelight, looked enchanting and ambiguous. At some point, it had been thrown into a corner, along with the personal small items, looking pretty and festive.
Under the quilt, their skin was pressed together. Holding the smooth, fair beauty, Muchun understood what was meant by the joy of fish and water. This skin, smoother and softer than satin, made her unable to let go.
Her fingers gradually landed on the main event of the night.
Liu Yunhe nervously wrapped her arms around her neck, her pearly teeth biting her lower lip, her slender white neck bent in a beautiful arc, as fragile as a delicate flower beaten by the rain.
Her sensitive body was being audaciously teased, and before long, she was sobbing.
Looking at the pitiful appearance of the beauty beneath her, Muchun seemed to like her whimpering moans even more.
But her ears automatically blocked out her delicate pleas for mercy. The small room was lit with two floral candles, illuminating the small space clearly.
She pressed her palm against hers, her wrist moving secretly.
Startled, Liu Yunhe reached out and wrapped her arms around her neck, panting by Muchun’s ear, like a soul-sucking demon in the night, making one’s head spin.
She found those tempting red lips and kissed them urgently, sucking hard.
The delicate lips were soft and sweet, like the finest pastry, making her indulge in them, her warm, nimble tongue slowly exploring, unable to extricate herself.
Miss Liu was kissed until she was shy and timid, the corners of her eyes faintly red. Her moist eyes, in the candlelight, were like a flower demon stained with love, its petals slowly blooming with passion, fragrant and dazzling.
In the candlelight, the person was more delicate than a flower. Her fair, fragile neck was tinged with a faint red, and her slender waist was moist, slick to the touch.
The softness that made one’s blood race, full and milky-white, trembled slightly like a hemisphere, making it impossible for her to look away.
Her heart was stirred by the whimpering sounds in her ear, and her gaze fell on her own palm.
Against the milky-white skin, for the first time, she was so clearly aware of the color of her own palm. Between the delicate pink flowers, she seemed particularly rough.
“You… don’t look!”
Seeing her sizing her up, Liu Yunhe’s cheeks became even hotter, and she quickly tried to stop her. But her voice was soft and sweet, without any deterrent.
It was more like she was flirting.
“Alright, I won’t look,” Muchun replied in a low voice, lifting her eyes. But she turned and hooked the bright red dudou, lightly throwing it on the little lady’s face, her hands becoming even more outrageous.
“Ah…!” a sharp cry escaped her lips.
A shameful sound escaped from her lips. Liu Yunhe could only instinctively bite the red satin. Soon, she could no longer care where she was looking.
Muchun seemed to be able to sense her pleasure and tried even harder to please her. The lamplight cast the two of them’s ambiguous shadows on the wall beside them, swaying gracefully.
The long wick of the floral candle flickered, making the light in the room also flicker, as if it were covering its mouth and giggling.
Who knew how long had passed, but Muchun found a handkerchief and wiped the wet sweat from Liu Yunhe’s forehead, lightly planting a kiss on her cheek, tucking in the corner of the quilt, and holding her in her arms. The temperature in the room gradually faded, but the person in her arms was still warm.
They say that the spring night in the hibiscus tent is warm. Muchun had already planned to skip work tomorrow. She didn’t want her delicate wife to not see her when she opened her eyes tomorrow. She decided to stay at home for a day and sleep with her wife until the sun was high in the sky.
…
Liu Yunhe was woken by the smell of food. She opened her sleepy, hazy eyes, her cheeks still red from sleep.
She sat up, wrapped in the quilt, her voice soft, like a feather brushing against Muchun’s ear.
Muchun looked up at her. Her thick, glossy long hair made her little face look palm-sized, pink and white like a peach.
Her eyes held a natural charm, and her red lips were full and tempting. You could vaguely see the traces of last night. On her exquisite little collarbone, there were still a few red marks.
Seeing her staring at her, Liu Yunhe looked down. She was not wearing any clothes, just wrapped in a quilt and sitting there.
“Ah…!” she screamed and fell back, covering herself tightly with the quilt.
“Hahahaha,” Muchun was so amused by her that she laughed out loud.
“The clothes are under the mattress. They’re all warm. Hurry up and get up, wash up, and eat.”
“Why are you at home today?” a muffled voice came from under the quilt.
“What? You don’t like it?”
“No,” the voice from under the quilt was still there.
Muchun took the clothes and pulled her delicate wife out of the quilt.
“Hurry up and get dressed. After we eat, I’ll take you for a walk. I’m resting today, not going to the quarry.”
“Really?” Hearing this, Liu Yunhe’s eyes lit up.
“The weather is warmer. It’s a good time to go out for a walk.” The food was already on the table, covered with a bowl.
Liu Yunhe put away last night’s embroidered nightgown and changed into a thinner, apricot-colored, vertical-collared padded jacket, a white, silver-edged vest, and a brownish-red long skirt.
She neatly combed her hair into a single topknot and inserted the silver hairpin. The Young Miss, who had not dressed up properly in a long time, instantly had a touch of nobility again.
To match this silver hairpin, she had also specially found a pair of South Sea pearl earrings from the bag of gold and silver jewelry and put them on, which made her look a little more gentle and exquisite.
“Let me comb your hair for you,” she said, looking at the two identical hairpins. Liu Yunhe insisted that she wear it.
“I couldn’t ask for more,” Muchun said, walking to Liu Yunhe’s side and hugging her from behind, kissing her on the neck below her ear.
“I said comb my hair. Let go,” Liu Yunhe said, taking away her mischievous hand and looking back at her with a tender, coquettish reproach.
“Alright,” Muchun said, obediently sitting on the stool, but her hand did not leave her slender waist.
A few days ago, when the weather had just started to warm up, the two of them had gone to get two new sets of clothes. Today, it was just right to wear them for a walk.
Liu Yunhe took the comb and combed her long hair, one stroke at a time. Her fingers nimbly twisted a single-spiral topknot, the top of her hair slightly fluffy. With the silver hairpin inserted, it had a neat and sharp taste.
Liu Yunhe thought that since she was always out and about, if she looked hard to provoke, it might save a lot of trouble. Although she was indeed not easy to bully.
“This topknot makes my eyebrows look so high,” Muchun said, looking at the hairstyle in the small copper mirror with a smile.
“But it does look more imposing than when I comb it myself,” she said, turning left and right to admire it.
When she got up early, she had carefully cooked an old duck soup, with red dates, ginger slices, and mushrooms. The half a duck had been simmered on low heat for an hour. Although the time was a little short, the soup was clear and the meat was soft and tender. A layer of yellow oil floated on top, the color bright and very appetizing.
“What time did you get up to make all this?” she asked, looking at the small steamed buns, boiled eggs, steamed cured meat, steamed corn, and mixed three-shred salad on the table. How was this not four dishes and a soup?
“It didn’t take much effort. They were all steamed together,” Muchun said, picking up a duck leg and putting it in Liu Yunhe’s bowl.
Outside, the cooking smoke was curling up, and the air was cold. The river surface not far away was making a “kaka” cracking sound. The long winter was finally about to pass.
The two of them were in their small room, slowly enjoying their breakfast. Muchun would occasionally serve her wife some soup.
“You should eat too,” Liu Yunhe said, seeing that she was only taking care of herself.
“Mm… okay,” Muchun said, picking up a thin slice of cured meat and putting it in her bowl.
In the blink of an eye, more than a month had passed. The river had officially thawed and was slowly receding at a speed invisible to the naked eye.
…
On this day, the quarry suddenly had to transfer a batch of young men, about thirty of them.
There were not many young and able-bodied men in the quarry to begin with, so the loss of thirty was particularly obvious. Muchun’s work had also increased a lot.
“Sigh, it’s a good thing you’re not a man. Otherwise, they might have taken you too,” the manager complained early in the morning.
“Manager, where did they go?” Muchun asked, bewildered.
“They were sent to Sifang City to dig for iron ore. It’s hard to say if they’ll be able to come back,” the manager said with a worried face.
“Sifang City? Is it upstream of Wanliu City?” she asked. To say it was upstream, but in terms of terrain, there was not much of a rise. It was just a few hundred li away.
“You know of that place?”
“I’ve heard a little. But why send the able-bodied laborers over?” Muchun didn’t understand the twists and turns of this.
“It’s not just the able-bodied laborers. Even the young and beautiful women have to be sent over if they say so,” the manager said, shaking his head.
“Ah?” Muchun was shocked.
