I Raise Goddesses in the Apocalypse 94

Chapter 94: You’re Unlucky to Have Met Me

The students cheered and, without waiting for Luo Cheng’s order, charged towards Tang Ze, their weapons raised.

Tang Ze took a sip of sugar-free Coke, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and picked up the horse-slaying saber that was leaning against the grill. He walked towards the charging group.

Seeing him with the saber, the students, instead of being afraid, yelled excitedly and rushed towards him.

“Kill!”

The young men roared, their blood boiling.

Tang Ze brought his saber down. A student raised his knife to block, but froze in the next moment. His knife was shattered, and so was he.

The three boys beside him were stunned.

“Getting distracted in a fight can be fatal.”

Tang Ze’s saber swung mercilessly, and four more bodies fell.

Luo Cheng looked at him, his expression grim.

“He’s…”

Yu Tong said, his voice filled with terror.

Luo Cheng took a deep breath. Just as I thought. Brute force, but no technique, just hacking and slashing.

“I’ll take care of him.”

He said calmly.

“Be careful. This guy is strange.”

Yu Tong said worriedly, remembering the parking garage, a nightmare that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Luo Cheng nodded and walked towards Tang Ze with his Tang-style saber, his steps steady, his eyes sharp.

They stopped, five meters apart.

“Great strength, but no technique.”

Luo Cheng said, as if giving a lesson, a recruiting posture.

Tang Ze looked at Luo Cheng’s attire and the saber in his hand. “You seem to have some skills.”

“A little. That’s why I wanted to meet you.”

“Heh, you’re the first person to challenge me. If you win, I die. But if I win, all of you will die.”

Tang Ze gave a friendly smile.

Luo Cheng frowned. That was his line, and he had just used it against him.

“Teacher Luo, kill him! He’s too arrogant, saying he’ll kill us all!”

“Chop him into pieces! Acting tough here!”

The students cursed. Teacher Luo was like a god to them, a master among masters.

Luo Cheng raised his hand, and the clamor instantly ceased.

“Alright! I accept. But I have one condition. If I win, you don’t have to die. You can be my subordinate.”

“Sure.”

Tang Ze readily agreed.

“A friendly reminder: within five steps, I am invincible.”

“Heh, I’m looking forward to your performance.”

Tang Ze’s smile widened.

A duel was about to begin. The moonlight shone on the two men, and the atmosphere became tense. Even the girls hiding in the villas were nervous. Even though they knew Tang Ze was strong, they were still on edge, afraid he would get hurt.

Luo Cheng knew the man in front of him was strong, so he planned to go all out. His strength was great, but if he could just dodge one blow!

That would be his end!

Wait for him to strike!

Tang Ze, seeing that Luo Cheng wasn’t attacking, but just circling him with strange steps, raised his saber and swung.

Luo Cheng saw it. The time had come!

Clang! As he dodged, he drew his saber and slashed at Tang Ze’s neck. He had no intention of taking him as a subordinate; it was just a trick to make his opponent think losing wouldn’t be so bad.

Suddenly, he felt a chill in his waist. Why was he falling?

Why was his blade so far off? It had just grazed Tang Ze’s shoulder.

With a thud, Luo Cheng fell, his eyes looking at his own lower body and his scattered intestines.

Impossible!

Absolutely impossible!

After that downward slash, he shouldn’t have been able to stop, the inertia would have been too great to recover!

But when he had struck, Tang Ze’s saber had seemed to stop, and then slash at his waist!

How could he have stopped? It was basic physics! Why didn’t he obey it?

Why did this happen?

Why was he dying?

It hurts…

“If you had met anyone else, you would have been invincible within five steps. Unfortunately, you met me.”

Tang Ze looked down at the dying Luo Cheng. Although he didn’t know his name, the man had courage.

Hearing Tang Ze’s words, Luo Cheng died, bewildered.

Yu Tong, behind him, hadn’t even processed what had happened. It was too fast. Luo Cheng had been killed!

The students were all stunned. Teacher Luo had been so strong at school, able to fight more than ten teachers at once. And he had just died.

Their idol had been instantly killed. It was a crushing blow, as if their world had collapsed.

Seeing Tang Ze approaching, Yu Tong roared to dispel his fear, his five fingers forming a claw. “Then let me taste your blade!”

Tang Ze raised his saber again. Yu Tong, with a graceful step, grabbed his wrist, feeling a surge of joy.

But he suddenly realized he had only grabbed his wrist, and he couldn’t move it. It was like steel.

“You’re not even going to use your saber? You’re looking down on me?”

Tang Ze turned to look at him and said calmly.

Yu Tong’s heart pounded, and he felt Tang Ze’s deathly gaze. His heart was about to leap out of his throat.

Before he could react, his other wrist was grabbed.

“Ah!”

Yu Tong screamed as his wrist was snapped, the bone protruding from his skin.

Tang Ze grabbed his other arm and tore it off, then kicked his legs, breaking them.

In the students’ eyes, Teacher Yu, second only to Teacher Luo, had his limbs broken, and was being held by the neck by that man…

“Keep your promises. Kill them.”

Tang Ze said in a low voice.

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang…

From the villas on both sides, a hail of bullets erupted, instantly felling half the students. The other half hid behind the cars, terrified.

Right, they have guns!

Just then, a student said, “What did I tell you? He was the one who made that hole! Even Teacher Luo was no match for him! It’s over, we’re all going to die.”

Hearing no reply, he patted his friend beside him, who staggered and fell, two bullets in his face, his eyes filled with terror.

When the student turned back, he saw the raised horse-slaying saber. In that moment, he realized the saber and the mark on the wall were similar.

His deduction had been correct…

He felt the world spin, and he saw his own body gushing blood.

The girls came out of the villas to clean up. Facing the charging young men with cold weapons, they didn’t even flinch, just pulled the trigger.

Some threw throwing knives, which initially startled the girls, but the knives fell to the ground before reaching them. They knew it was Master, using his terrifying ability. They had no more fear.

The shells fell continuously at their high-heeled feet. The young men had no time to admire their beautiful legs, because with every step, they took two or three lives. Their slender fingers had become the heralds of death, their angelic faces transformed into the faces of demons.
